Love the heat and truth Doug is brining let’s go boys THE NORTH IS HERE AND WINTER IS COMING and I joined in the show right when Doug said I was a frikin loser so that was nice lol
It's a major issue with Herbstreit. The AD needs to address this. Bad mouthing a fan base during a national broadcast is unacceptable and unprofessional.
This fan base is garbage I’m glad he said something. The fans should support not abuse the coaches and their families. The shit that comes out of their mouths is embarrassing. He spoke the truth
It’s sad that Oregon and Ohio State have to play each other so soon. These 2 teams are def 2 of the best and 1 of them won’t get through the quarter finals! This seeding seriously needs to change
Let's go born and raised in Columbus Ohio it was a great atmosphere Tennessee fans came strong and we're very respectful I can see them in the mix next year but O.H.
Sorry I wholeheartedly disagree, our fan base has taken things to far. Yes they played a horrific game against TTUN but we still have the opportunity to play for the National Championship. Yet we actually have “fans” hoping we lose so they can get Day fired. Which btw means in the new age of College Football means blowing up the team. The team loves Day and if he was fired they would all be in the Portal
Congratulations Ohio State. The title is basically yours now. I can't say I'm happy for you but we all saw this coming. You survived the cold weather game and the elements, so it's all warm weather and domes from here on out, your specialty. Oregon next? Pfft. They're rusty and it's a neutral site this time. All you silly Fire Ray Day people should probably crawl back to the Buckeye Bandwagon now, it's safe again. Natty* or Bust. *Two-loss title, lost rivalry game Oh, and the silver lining at least is that the south can crrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaammm it.
I will say this. While I don’t think people criticizing the team is bad or out of line. It’s that there even seems to be lack of celebration or acknowledgment for good. As well as baseless complaining when it’s not even related to an issue. I saw fans after the performance saying things like Ryan Day is already in our good graces? Like we can’t even wait 24 hours to enjoy a win before asking about his job security. Or zen entering the transfer portal and people calling Frye a bum coach and that he can’t retain talent, when anyone with two brain cells knows that zen wasn’t going to stay on a roster where he still wasn’t going to start after 4 years. Being constructive and critical is one thing, but it’s constant negativity. I haven’t forgotten how people treated CJ, I haven’t forgotten seeing everyone call Kyle Honda McCord after every game. It is not just fans being upset after a terrible loss to TTUN. It is a cycle of fans spewing hate towards the people they are supposed to support. I’m never going to be mad at someone for asking if Ryan day should be head coach after losing 4 straight years. But it’s not a nuanced conversation with actual thought. It just becomes yelling about how bad someone is. While I am not a fan of Kirk’s remarks about Ohio State, he is not the only one. The sentiment from every other fan base is that we are spoiled and angry. So some things are problematic
I live and from Tennessee. My son goes OSU. Honestly I'm shot that SEC seriously thought they could touch OSU. 2 totally different level football teams
Just because our fan base is massive doesn’t mean we all turned on our team. Yes we were upset about the gameplay our coach had against Michigan and guess what…it worked. The Buckeyes showed what they can do and how bad the game plan was against Michigan! The people who attack players and coaches are not the norm and are not accepted in the Ohio State community. Saying Ryan Day should be fired does not fall into that category. He gets paid 9 million dollars and has some of best players in the country. We will hold him to a certain standard and they showed tonight what the ceiling can be! Got to tip your cap to them for overcoming the adversity.
I got to say, if you're an Ohio State fan you got to be proud to see what they did yesterday. The problem is, they should've come out with that kind of fire and solid gameplan against Michigan. Anywho, it's nice to see them kick ass the way they did. This weekend was really a bust in terms of entertaining games. The game that was closest to being entertaining was the IU/ND game though the SMU/Penn State game had a chance. When I saw Jennings get greedy and forced the ball in the end zone on their 1st possession rather than running for the 1st I knew they were doomed. That guy was seeing GHOSTS! It was kind of a shame too because the SMU defense was balling out but seeing their QB wet the bed over and over had to be demoralizing and they finally succumbed on the defensive side of the ball. The North is BALLIN'! So the SEC and the south can CRAM IT UP THEIR....Well, you know :)
The only thing I was really wrong about was I thought Indiana would be more competitive. I've been saying, Texas isn't good enough to go deep, OSU wouldn't have a problem beating Tenn, and Penn State is just flat out better than SMU. But guess what! Alabama, SC, and Ole Miss would've gotten wiped off the floor too! Unless they played another SEC team....
I'm not a fan of Ohio State, but I think the Volunteers started to melt after Tennessee QB Nico Iaemaelva's helmet was broken at the top after three Buckeyes smashed him. Tennessee's O-Line was out of shape, incompetent, and un-athletic against a deep Buckeyes Front 7.
The 2nd qtr was a major regression, the 4th qtr was that infuriating 15 minutes of mercy for the opponent (at the risk of player injury with no chance of reward),so we hung 42 on Tennesse in 2 QTRS!

This video made me smile. He said everything that should have been said. Well done!
Love you guys, great weekend for the north and for KOTN!

God, I love this podcast.

BS , the fan base needs to be talked about , our fan base is spoiled little babies who act ridiculous .
@@joeycarbone3754 Yes they are. I agree with you. Thanks for saying it.
@@timbateman6767 You are right as a Michigan fan we move on with our lives if we win or lose .
Same with us Oregon fans... it's not life or death. We just love to watch our team 🦆@timd4789
College football runs through the north!!!
My Buckeyes laid the wood to Rocky Top last night ! On to the Rose Bowl Boys ! And that bitter cold had no effect on Howard throwing Dimes all night !
The North is at the top baby!!!
The north remembers
I agree with everything Doug said. He is so right!! And we need to stop turning a blind eye to the bullcrap
GO FREAKING BUCKS😤💯
Hell yeah, Doug! Bring the lumber lol
You guys do a great show
Wow Doug! I love you!!!
Haha, give 'em the cold steel, Doug!
Get off the fence, Doug, and tell us what you really think. 😂 Keep spitting the truth. 👍🏻

Quit complaining
I agree. Say what you want about Ohio State but Oregon deserves Arizona State or Boise State.
Let's go born and raised in Columbus Ohio it was a great atmosphere Tennessee fans came strong and we're very respectful I can see them in the mix next year but O.H.

Getting hit in the freezing cold and also trying to throw a cold ball is something you don't understand until you experience it.
But but.. it gets cold in Tennessee... haha. Go Bucks!
@HughMorristheJoker yeah, they probably shouldn't have taken their shirts off before the game. I dunno what they were trying to prove. Lol

Last time I check you don’t get evaluate the coach so screw your standards
I totally disagree. The fanbase is garbage

I definitely did not think we’d win that game. If only we’d play against Michigan like that first quarter. Wow.
How moronic who cares. Could this fan base learn that Michigan is another game stop with the live or die with that game. It’s embarrassing
Ohio State 38 - 15 Indiana
Ohio State 42 - 17 Tennessee
Seems like Indiana would go 10-2 in the almighty SEC
But Michigan shouldn’t be the most important game
The only thing I was really wrong about was I thought Indiana would be more competitive.

Can Doug stop doing this weird Colin Cowherd schtick? Love the show...tired of the weird hot take sound bites.
Anyone in their right mind would pick Tennessee over SMU, Indiana, Clemson. I would and I’m a buckeye.
CRAMMED

Who won Bill? Lol. I'm Bill too, I forgive ya.
SEC SEC SEC..... my ass !!!
Maybe he is getting tired of you guys reviewing the Michigan game. Jesus
It is becoming too loud. This fan base is spoiled
The 2nd qtr was a major regression, the 4th qtr was that infuriating 15 minutes of mercy for the opponent (at the risk of player injury with no chance of reward),so we hung 42 on Tennesse in 2 QTRS!
The offensive play calling tried to go back to the UM game play calling…
Landis wanted Day fired too. So he's part of the problem. go back to Philly.
You're the problem if you defend shit performance
Rocky Flop!
Doesn't Landis get paid to be an expert on CFB??? And he picked Tennessee? Ummmm. Not only a nasty thing to do but DUMB.
I'm a OSU fan I agree with Herbstreit. The fans turned against this team every week and the fans get worse every year
Go accept mediocrity at minnesota. Gtfo with this apologism.
