IGNORAMUS, he missed a 56 yarder on a 20 degree night into the wind. I blame YOU for him missing 2 against U of M, Kickers have a fragile mental make up. Those of your Ilk ruined him
I don't blame him for the one in this game (57 yards on a 20 degree night is a sub 50/50 proposition for an NFL kicker). Kinda thought it was silly to even send him out - I would have YOLOed 4 verts. Concerned for the playoffs.
Felt like i was being gas lit when you guys uploaded the michigan one! lol Great game by the Buckeyes! looking forward to the Rose Bowl. Appreciate all your hard work this season gentleman.
This win was the best Christmas gift I could’ve ever received this year! I feel better about this team now than I have since the the sweater vest reigned in the Horeshoe. And Herbie and McAfee can shove it.
I dunno why they just didn't have their 7' Aussie hammer the ball out of the stadium. At least he has the leg strength to actually have a chance for the ball to go between the sticks. Fielding's leg is too weak to kick anything past 40 yards.
Continuing your analogy to Jurassic Park, my concern is that dinosaurs have short legs. What's going to happen when victory depends on making a field goal? As Ray Arnold (played by Samuel Jackson), chief engineer of Jurassic Park, said, "Hold on to your butts."
They used the passing game to open up the running game. The only other time I've seen Day do this was against UGA... Who knew that this was the right approach with the best WRs and WR coach in the country? Literally everyone
I think everyone is perfectly fine with the soft/finesse style offense if they can put up 40+ points per game. Especially with the #1 Defense. Everyone except Lou Holtz, Urban's former boss.
The biggest problem with Ryan Day has always been his inability to prepare his teams for big games. He did it last night, so good on him. What about the next game though, what team will show up?
This Buckeye team is the envy of any program nationally. Funny thought it’s the media pundits who over n over chastise n criticize them over n over! Be supportive of your team while remaining good critics!
Last night was the catalyst to what I believe will be a dominant run to the National Championship. The Buckeyes have figured out the D (after Oregon game 1) and the offense is now fixed (after the Michigan game) and momentum is now on their side. A Rose Bowl win over the undefeated #1 team (Oregon) followed by 2 more wins over the SEC in their home areas (Texas in the Cotton Bowl and Georgia in Atlanta) will be such a satisfying, epic post season! Buckeyes will "leave no doubt" over the next 3 games.
Coaches learned you have to throw to run. Lineman loss killed us. 2 linemen lost during oregon game. Then the loss of our center. Threw our chemistry off. Changed line around opened up the playbook. Plus OSU was an angry bear waiting to kill. Lol
Watching Saturday night, I think they subbed for Tegra after that first drive. He was out the rest of the half. They put him back in the 2nd half and he was fine. It would be interesting to see how the playing time split between the two halves.
If the team and staff that was against Tennessee shows up for the Rose Bowl, we'll be fine. Losing to Oregon means the buddy club on offense will need to be broken up.
The refs tend to not call Holding as often in big games, unless it's blatantly obvious. As long as they are consistent for both teams then I don't have an issue with it because it makes the game flow more exciting due to it favoring the offenses and scoring points.
I agree with Herbie. He said the fringe community, not all the Buckeye fans are crazy. I sure don’t want to be a southerner that celebrate killing a tree. I like that he pushed back against Corporate Disney/Espn.
Doug, I listened to Klatt making your same point of pudents complaining that the lovers don't belong, UNTIL the loser was an SEC team. He was passed as you and I. Go Bucks! Go win it all.
I saw on tape Tegra on a double team get man handled that 100% the truth I never have seen that before but he did imagine if Carson would have been starting like he should’ve been
Truth: When #44 actually decides he wants to play football with high motor and actually is determined to impose himself on the game - the Buckeyes ‘are a different team’‼️
The reason Texas has the odds is because the semifinal will be played in the Cotton Bowl in Texas. They're pretty sure to get there and will face either Ohio State or Oregon in a very favorable and well known environment, in which they will probably have the vast majority of fans.
The reason Texas has better odds is they play ASU, while OSU/Oregon face each other. Coming out of those games, the winner of the Rose Bowl will likely have better odds.
Beating an overrated Tennessee is no guarantee that OSU will continue to look that good. Especially when the games aren't at home and are against much better teams.
It’s the Barney Fife/Andy Taylor effect…… Will Howard is an Andy Taylor type who has 2-5 Barney Fife moments in every game. When and where they occur determines the amount of devastation. Against Xichigan => it was catastrophic! Fielding is a Barney Fife type who occasionally has a few Andy moments but his baseline is ALL FIFE. Chip Kelly and Ryan Day were both Barney’s in the Xichigan game. Kelly and Day were both in Andy Taylor mode for the Tennessee game. JK & LJ we’re creating major FIFE ACTIVITY for our Defense until Day forced them to ACT LIKE ANDY TAYLOR’s and it’s been ON TRACK ever since. Who knows why or when or how significant WH‘s Barney moments will be before the game is played and his Barney makes a major Fife appearance ? It’s not controllable like that. CK/RD scheming and play calling IS CONTROLLABLE! JK/LJ Defensive Scheme and machinations ARE CONTROLLABLE! Fielding’s are not ! Ohio State just needs to control what’s within their sphere of influence and hope and pray the Barney Fife moments and appearances don’t dictate their fate and decide their future destiny. But Kelly and Day NOT controlling the game plan, play calling and tempo of the game that is within their capabilities => is and was negligent (in the Xichigan game) and showcased an absolute dereliction of duty. Control what you can => the best that you can…..and let the game play out….. Sometimes you get a Tennessee win….. Sometimes you get a Georgia loss….. But never orchestrate a loss you can control like Day and Kelly did in the Xichigan game.
@ no they don’t. There are no perfect teams. Consistency is different than perfection. Did you look at the records of all the teams. Only one has lost. Who you play is a contributing factor. Take Indiana who played the bottom half of the conference except for osu They ended 11-2. Or Texas who played no one in the top 25. They still ended 10-2. Osu has won 3 out 4 top ten teams. Yet they ended up 11-2. Day is what 67 and 9 you try to call that inconsistent. Bullshit. Have a nice Christmas
@@timbateman6767 Indiana was a consistent team, this season. They beat everyone ranked lower then them but lost to everyone ranked higher then them. OSU's loss to Michigan was an inconsistency in coaching because we just saw what they are capable of doing if their talent is maximized.
STILL MORE THERE: I’m still baffled WHY TE G. Scott is split out wide so often - what about Inniss/Rodgers/Graham as that extra guy in routes or Trey?! - Scott is not dangerous player and certainly NOT one of best 11 Offensive players on team - baffling he plays SO MUCH‼️
Trey is a better blocker and more explosive in space, especially when being guarded by a LB. I would love to see him motioned to the slot, with Judkins at RB. Then the 2 RBs can be rotated, when 1 gets winded, while running Tempo, without rotating any players off the field.
Ryan Day threw a subtle shot at the players post game. They asked him why we didn’t play like this against TTuN, and Day said “it was a problem with execution and not only scheme.” While true, that statement was bs because 95% of the problem was scheme. Blaming the players was pathetic.
I think Howard was injured after getting clobbered, but we probably won't hear the truth until after the season. He was shakey and hesitant, plus his stats fell off a cliff after Halftime, when his adrenaline wore off. Regardless it was a coaching blunder to not replace an injured QB with the backup if the starter couldn't make proper reads or throw on time and accurately. Brown could have easily launched a couple deep balls to score a TD or two.
Can we talk about Herbie? What an idiot at times. He said there were 40k Tennessee fans there! Also, can a fan be upset at the coaches after the Michigan game, and be happy they won?! I guess I’m a fringe fan! What a butthole.

Doug, that piece you had last stream about the fans was great. Washington Post worthy! no kidding, you are great.
I really appreciate all the content Bill and Doug put out there with Ohio State and Kings of the North. You guys are the best!
Twelve minutes in and we're getting an extended Jurassic Park metaphor. Classic Doug lol
Love Doug's Jurassic Park analogy. 😅😅
The 2020 Clemson game was similar to this game. The QB was running for his life all game long and the line delivered some serious hits on the QB.
Best $ I’ve ever spent on a game.
Fans did a great job of drowning out the orange and the team was absolutely lit!
