    It's cool seeing these old engines taken apart, and seeing how they work. Modern engines are not as interesting as the old ones since they are choked down with a bunch of emissions equipment, as well a bunch of computer equipment as well. I don't see today's current time cars on the road in the next 10 or so years since they have a bunch of touch screen nonsense on them, and fixing them when they are 10 years old will cost more than the car is worth, and they will most likely will be junked in 10 years since it will cost more than the vehicle is worth.

      I completely agree. Seems almost everything modern is made to be thrown away, no matter how expensive it was to buy. Cars, A/C units, appliances, smart phones. It's hard to think of anything modern that is made last. I prefer well-made, high-quality stuff that I can rebuild.
