Man. There was a street light in front of my house when I was a kid. 1980’s. I just loved watching it come on. It started blueish to green then over time turned orange. I’m guess that is what u have. Crazy what I remember as kids.
i grew up in the 80-90s.. but i still do prefer mercury vapor lights. HPS might have double the lumens for the same wattag.. or half the wattag for near the same lumens... but that orange light makes it hard to see things really good.. too shadowy
