Yeah, lands are scuffed lately, my current highscore is 5 games in a row when I didn't draw 3rd or 4th land the entire game, often the one I needed to win on the spot. I don't count times when I just conceded after 2 mulligans
CGB has his viewers do the mathematical odds when he has a stupid land draw rate, I see '~.02% chance of this happening' all the time, and you should only pull draws like that about once every 5000 games you play ( .02%)

24 lands is not that much.
IMO the land drop is not the main issue.

It amazes me how people don't see how card draw is rigged.
it really makes me angry. on Magic the Gathering: Online it's obviously more random and not rigged. i watch seth from mtggoldfish play modern on MTG:O a lot and you can literally SEE it. hands are much more varied and interesting. the games are more interesting as a result. i don't understand why they feel they need an algorithm on arena for the game to be good. it actively makes it worse. fuck it. what a time to be alive boys.

The land draw has changed recently almost sure of it.

@renefonck8920 it's even worse when I have 26 lands and maybe 8 of them are a splash color and opening hands with 3-4 of the splash color and no main color for like 4 draws...boy do I have video footage

They have made Magic so obnoxiously overpowered that not hitting your land drops is basically auto lose.
I played yesterday and the same thing happened but 7 times in a row. I was so frustrated and I put 40 lands in my deck and what happened? The same thing 2 land opening hand and then after draw 5 a nother land but by then the game is over. I could not believe it.

I used to play about 30 games day until I started noticing way too much instances of say for example I'm playing heliod combo and I get somebody who's playing strict proctor or hushbringer that shuts down my deck as just as one example among dozens if not hundreds. @@CSmania1991
Earlier I got 2 lands out of 15 cards. It's not so much the lack of land that bothers me (ok, yes it does a lot), but it also means if I somehow manage to keep playing that I'm eventually going to hit nothing BUT lands. That's pretty much gg

Made the deck and I'm currently 3 wins 7 losses. Not sure why, but either getting mana screwed or not drawing into anything.
I had to make HALF of my deck lands because of the shitty way magic makes you draw, still have 2 land hands in a row on 4 mulligans and STILL had 4 or 5 games in a row where I don't draw one for 7 turns. That was just yesterday too. And all of those games I would have won if I drew at least 2.
I have found that running an odd number of lands, like 23 or 25, more often then not works out for me. When i run even numbers I frequently get bricked or flooded.

Funny how i can get 3 lands every game, in a mono red agro with 18 lands on my deck, but the moment i play with 24/26 there is no way to get 3 or 4 lands. Then i come back to red agro and turns 5, 6 and 7 i only draw mountains, yeah sure not rigged at all.

It's because your playing standard ranked that you get flooded or no lands.. that's why I stopped playing this crap game. Tried making decks where it had 40 lands and maybe 10 cards that drew lands but guess what? Never got land drawing cards or lands
