Thank you so much for posting this video! Helped me a lot. In Canada it's $49.99 + tax and shipping from Amazon....still best price for the quality.
Thank you so much for posting a comment and liking and subscribing... i really appreciate it, i will subscribe to your channel also, glad the video was helpful, Pipefittermike
Thank you so much for this great tutorial...I received the MD2380 today and will begin install...your video is very helpful!
Dude, take your time, be methodical, have your girlfriend, wife or friend help, i have found when my wife helps it goes smoother and faster, even when she is only handing me tools or reading the instructions out loud for a second time, good luck and thanks for commenting, liking and subscribing, i appreciate it, and i have subscribed to your channel.... good luck, Mike
Hi Michael! Thanks so much from San Francisco! I recently bought this same exact mount and Amazon forgot to include the instructions. I watched your video and was done in and hour. Thanks for being a lifesaver...awesome✅👍🏻
Dude, this is the same thing i do.... got a project...go to you tube see if anybody else did it...then follow there vid to see how they did it and glean all the good stuff from it, i love it, makes the do it yourself world even easier for us guys who want to diy!! Thank you for commenting, subscribing and liking, i really do appreciate it, Mike
Ohh, and i subscribed to your channel!! thanks, Mike
My daughter said to say Thank You too...she has been watching Disney non-stop since this morning😅. Stay safe Mike!👍🏻
Thanks, good information. The wall mount hardware really depends on the VESA configuration on the back of your TV. My tv was 200x200 and weight of 26.5 pounds, secured to drywall only with three snaptoggles.
Glad you were able to glean some information from my video, hopefully it gave you some confidence for your own install.... us do it yourselfers like to have some heads up for any kind of install, i know i always look on you tube for a good install video before i do my install....LOL, thanks for subscribing and liking, and commenting, i do appreciate it, and i have subscribed to your channel too, Mike
Your video helped a lot. Thank you.
Thanks for your subscription, comment, and liking the video...i have subscribed to your channel...glad i could help with your install, i have noticed that i can watch alot of installs on you tube and they dont have to be an identical item, just show enough to give me an idea on how things are done!! Thanks again....
Watched your video and got the job done - thanks!
Hey thanks Ray, i am this old guy who always looks at you tube no matter what the project, usually someone has done it, then i watch it and glean what i can from it, always taking most instructions with a grain of salt..... not everybody has the same tools or conditions... i am glad you were able to use something from it.... thanks for liking, watching, commenting and subscribing, i really appreciate it, Mike
very helpful, thank you!
Glad i could help out... amazon has many of these tv mounts.... this one should be similar to alot of the ones available. Good luck with yours, and, keep on Do It Yourselfin' , Mike PS thanks for Subscribing, commenting and liking, i appreciate it.....

Great job I just one and you made it look easy
Hey thanks for the compliment... i have done 2 more since this video, one 46" on my computer work station and a 86" in my entertainment center in the basement, both of these i had to cut slices in the walls and install wood 2x4's because i had steel studs that i couldnt trust to hold up those size TV's. i hope everything works out on your install, thanks again for commenting, liking, and subscribing to my channel, i have subscribed to yours, take your time, Pipefittermike
I want to put my MD2380 mount on my brick wall outside. Should I put the bolts in the mortar or in the edges of the bricks? I read so many different people saying to do it either way.
Sorry so long to reply, but i believe putting them in the mortar is the way to go, i think if you do the brick you may have a mess on your hands, hope this helps...thanks for commentiing, subscribing and liking, i do appreciate it, Mike
I can't find the Lag bolts for my mount. Can I go to the hardware store to pick some up? What size would I need?
Wow, Hey, Sorry it took so long to reply, holidays and all.... Yes absolutely you can buy them at the hardware store, if your tv is as large as mine...50". if that is the case the ones that came with the mount were 1'/4"x 1-1/2" Long, but if you buy this one or any other one, they should come with all the mounting screws you need, i hope this helps.. and thank you so much for subscribing and commenting and liking my video, anymore questions please ask them and i will try to help, Mike
that size for the lag screws is 1/4" x 1-1/2" Long, i tend to give to much info, sorry, Mike and i will subscribe to your channel too..
Won't lay TV down, but uses power drill to insert screws which they don't recommend.
No dowels?
I have this same model. There is no stick on level and no mention of a level on the template.
WOW, THEY ARE REALLY GETTING CHEAP WITH THE EXTRAS, I GUESS THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT SPENDING AN EXTRA 2.00 FOR A STICKY LEVEL, SORRY I GUESS YOU GOT TO GET IN ON THE GROUND FLOOR WHEN THEY FIRST START SELLING THIS CRAP......LOL SORRY
Hi. My lag bolts keep turning. Does that mean my wall mount is not secure?
Sorry so long to reply, but yes you are correct, the mount will not be secure if all of your lag screws are still turning....are they all like that or just one? the top two are the ones you really need to be secure... its possible you could be allright if just one bottom lag screw keeps turning.. however, the lag screws are made for wood, not metal or dry wall, if you can identify the material you are screwing in, then you can get the appropriate screw for it.. if drywall i suggest a 3/8" toggle bolt, if metal, a self tapping 3/8" screw, and wood, the lag screw... oh well hope this helps, thanks again for commenting and subscribing and liking, i do appreciate it....Mike
@@michaelmason636 Well Mike, that's the problem... Like you I have a drop ceiling, but when I look, I see paneling and what looks like 1" plywood! This is a room attached to a park model Rv. Could I use anchors that will work with the lag bolts provided? Thanks. Kim
@@Healingisliving Kim Spencer Hmmmm..... i think the toggle bolts are the way to go, although you will need a larger hole, you could also try a normal wood screw but it would have to be thicker now than the lag screw, make sure it doesnt have a shoulder on the screw....if you decide to go with a lag screw it will also have to be thicker than the one you used....hmmm hope something here helps...good luck
How high was the top of the mount on the wall?
Wow, off hand i dont know, gimme a bit to go downstairs and measure it and ill get back to you, Mike
okay, sorry it took so long, its 66" to the top of the mount, and the top of the tv ends up being 72", remember all measurements are approxiamate....thanks for your intrest, liking, subscribing and commenting, Mike.... oh and i have subscribed to your channel also.....
Thank you man . Bloody the instructions on the flyer was taking me nowhere.
Hey awesome, glad to hear it worked out for you, i dont recieve anything for these videos except the joy of everyones success!!! thanks for subscribing and commenting, and liking, i appreciate it greatly, pipefittermike on youtube
By the way it cost $59 dollars now on amazon
yikes, i should have bought 2 back then.....Pipefittermike636
The template seems useless? Just use the frame as the template
This way you'll never have issues with the paper not being completely flat as the frame is rigid
It does seem that way, but i would rather hold up the paper template then the heavy metal mounting bracket, but then again, thats just me, thanks for commenting, liking, and subscribing, i do appreciate it, hope i was of some help anyway......
Aye it was just a suggestion
Obviously if it's just one person installing then the template is more useful
I just know I'd get the one template that was printed at a slight angle
@@QuiescentCookie You really made me chuckle, i have actually had that happen to me..LOL, thanks again
