Not feeling this style. Frankly i don't even understand it. Seems just as lame as the kids with the insane camber and the dudes in Texas with the huge spokes and spinners. But i respect the build and the the man himself. Good Stuff.
Ever been to a drag strip for a nostagia event. Gassers were big in the 50's and are a big show at places like Thompson and Route 42 at West Salem, OH.
Mark from New York I'm not a fan of the gasser look either, but respect the heritage involved. Bonus points if these things actually perform at a drag strip. Although it's a bit weird seeing an automatic station wagon being treated like that. I feel like someone needs to daily drive this as a grocery getter, maybe throw some kids in the back. The shifter when it has an automatic transmission... ...that just seems wrong to me. I appreciate the Big Daddy Roth styling, but if it had to be in an automatic, at least pick a car with a floor shifter.
Imagine Ward Cleaver coming home with that wagon.
First thing I thought when I saw that green Fury... "How does the hood open?" So glad you showed that!
Man I bet that car with the canopy would be so cool to cruise in at night.
That's out of this world lookin so awesome specially the bubble gasser
I cannot believe nobody said anything about the creepy hand sticking out of the dash, trying to grab the shifter lol!! Looks amazing 🤩 so cool 😎
Great looking mopars!
Very period cool for 60s custom
Super cool
I pretty sure that wagon wouldn't be street legal where I live in Toronto, Canada or even that other car too. LoL 😁
This used to be at Lead East when you we went till I think it's now at
Ahem, that other gathering...
Very cool! I remember those cars in their stock conditions. They were ugly!!
love to build a gaser

Well, gassers started because people needed the weight transfer for grip for drag racing. I guess its really personal preference
