Totally awesomeness of a Vintage comic book video. Amazing grades! Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😎👍♥️📚📚📚📚❤️🇺🇸🇨🇦♥️✨️✨️✨️✨️💯💯💯💯💯✨️✨️
@@chadleschasin2893I've seen CGC 9.8's with date stamps on the covers. Unless the date stamp was smudged it shouldn't effect the grade. Date stamps were part of the retail process when comics were for sale at newsstands.
My LCS has received my CGC submission of Showcase 75. I think it was an 8.5 when I bought it raw. Fingers crossed that it gets at least that when I go next week. Great books you have.
I see you live in lambertville nj! My dad lived in a townhome on lambert lane right by the bridge to new hope. He now lives in ewing township near trenton. Small world
Nice mail call. Little fun fact was bored yesterday. Decided to look at FB market place saw some comics local. Went out there he didn't have much, but asked if he had more he got 2 promo Resident Evil comics. I asked how much? He said ** for both. I said oh yeah 😂
On you Showcase 75, according to grader notes they hammered it for tanning and a color breaking crease on the top left front cover. I think CGC is too rough on tanning IMHO.
I would like to know what the graders notes read about that seven dollars if you really thought it was that much better of a book perhaps take what the notes say fix it and resubmit
Love the Neal Adams/ dick Giordano batman covers and that blue beetle is special man, sweet, can't believe you got a 9.2 on an old Charlton book as the paper quality is known to be pretty bad, love that 1rst pshyco pirate too,Dr fate is one of my favourite characters
The Batman 202 is very deserving of the 6.5 grade. You missed some bad stuff. It can’t be emphasized enough that people LOOVVEEE to complain about CGC, but they look at books much closer than the average collector. They have tools that will suss out defects you won’t see. light stain left bottom of whole book small tape pull top of back cover very light creasing to cover very light spine stress lines to cover very light wear to cover And same with the Showcase 75, you missed some bad stuff. Just because a cover “presents 9.8”, doesn’t mean you’re seeing everything 👍 light, multiple shadow cover moderate cover tanning multiple crease left top of front cover breaks color
Neil Adams and silver age Batman!🤤 Possibly my favorite video you've done yet!

Some real nice Batman stuff there. Neal Adams did some great covers, my favorite is 244.
A date stamp on the cover does not effect the grade....
Unless it’s above a 9.0 … that’s from CGC Grading Standards.

So it REALLYLYYYY does affect it... I've seen it be the sole butchering factor in a grade
Wow these are beautiful books!
Batman 246 is a Neal Adams cover. Love all the Batman books. Classics.
Very awesome to see all these, thank you!!!

Thanks for sharing brothers

Great books - Bats in 9+... Just Great!
Nice! Been collecting Batman 220s and 230s. Love those Neal Adams covers, and some great keys in that run too!

I want those Batman books! Great result with some awesome books!
Love that Batman #227 cover! I have it in a 6.0
This video was so good I watched it twice
These are crazy awesome books and grades! Super jealous I wish I had pretty much every single one in my collection
Wow, a Blue Beetle #1 in a 9.2 is absolutely incredible!! I can understand why it was hard to let that one go :)
That batman 202 is mostly black cover. Not the first dude to strike out
Luckily im limiting my collection to raw except for 1st appearances or id have to come for more of those awesome Batman books lol

So do you wait for the unboxing or do you immediately check the website as soon as your books ship to see the grades?

I thought date stamps are part of the comic according to CGC
For pedigrees
The cover of Batman #227 just oozes early Bronze Age with heavy Gothic overtones.

Are you selling that Batman 227?

light stain left bottom of whole book

very light creasing to cover
very light spine stress lines to cover
very light wear to cover

light, multiple shadow cover
moderate cover tanning
multiple crease left top of front cover breaks color
Blue Bettle 1 damn dude
In 9.2! insane
Nice👍
I for one like date stamps
Same honestly
The Question is an awesome character, but sadly underrated
I feel like slabs with a custom label draw your eye away from the cover, which is the focal point
Dude shouldn’t you be closing mortgage loans?
1st
CGC killed comic collecting, change my mind.
love the Batman 210, birthday book! Nice submission.
