Just made it an hour after watching your video. I double the baking powder and only used 3/4 cup sugar. Was awesome !!!! Thanks for the direction.
so glad you tried it and liked it. You are very welcome! :)
The best, most flavorful recipe I've found for blackberry cobbler!
So glad you like it, Lynne!!
Love your tutorials!! I didn't have blackberries on hand tonight so I used two peaches and a handful of raspberries instead and it turned out amazing! First time cobbler but you really make these recipes seem so much simpler than many chefs and halfway thru watching your videos and I jump up and head to the kitchen to give it a go! Thanks so much for your work. I'm a big fan 😊
So happy you gave it a try, Kate!! :) :) You are very welcome and thank you for the compliment!

@@sylviadelacruz8944 No worries at all!! :) :)
@@inthekitchenwithmatt Thanks Matt☺😊😊
@@sylviadelacruz8944 :) :)
That looks Amazing. One question though, why’d you choose spices with berries instead of zest and vanilla? I’d like to discover to myself but am afraid to try! 😅
Thanks! Because I love those spices. :) You can use whatever you want, zest from citrus and vanilla are good options too.
Great 👍 can it be frozen when cooked if I made loads
Yep it sure can!! :)
Hi dear Matt! 😊😊Nice kitchen... Can I use some other substitute for blackberry as they're not available in our country?
Hi Inoka, thank you! Yes you can use pretty much any other fresh berries. If you use something like peaches they need to be cooked down a bit first, because they are so firm. Like I do in this peach cobbler video ua-cam.com/video/CupORQNtkIM/v-deo.html
Thank you dear Matt!!! ♥️
@@inokasamanmalikarunarathna6803 You are welcome!
Yummy 😍😍
Thank you!!
Could you use cinnamon sugar that’s already premixed?
It depends on how much cinnamon flavor you want. And it depends on the cinnamon and sugar mix, what the ratio was. But as far as it working, yes it will work fine. It just may have too much cinnamon.
I made these there sooo delicious I do request you to lake this
Glad you made them and liked them!
@@inthekitchenwithmatt instead of blackberrys could I add stawberrys
@@aliyahuddin533 Sure!! :)
What a Crime!!!! You forgot the scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream!!!!! ROFL
I have a HUGE Black Raspberry Bush that grows like a weed and this gives me an Easy Option besides putting them on cereal or eating them with cream & sugar. THANK YOU!!!!!
You are very welcome!! :) :) haha yeah, didn't have any ice cream on hand haha. That is awesome you get fresh blackberries!
Can i use frozen black berries ?
Yep you sure can! :)
@@inthekitchenwithmattThank you, but will it come out the same?
@@Eunice_yoo It will come out close to the same.
@@inthekitchenwithmatt Ok thank you!
@@Eunice_yoo You are welcome!
Can i use blueberry instead?
Yep! You sure can. Do it exactly the same thing but switch out the blackberries for blueberries. Or raspberries even. :)
@@inthekitchenwithmatt Thank You Matt.
Oh Matt it is super delicious I added strawberries and blueberries, and OMG. Thanks
@@rociomariscalt So happy to hear you liked it!! You are welcome! :) :)
