I enjoy watching your channel. You seem to have a nice steady almost laid- back way of fishing which I can identify with. Your commentary is good and you seem to come up with the goods even if they are mostly flatties, which I like, particularly Turbot.

Anither good session Darren, pleased you got your Turbot. Don't lose sleep over the lack of interaction from other UA-camrs, some of them think it's all about them and not as you always do with your banter in conversation. Almost like we're fishing alongside side you. Keep it up mate.

Hi , thanks for watching. To be honest, you just need to find open sandy beaches where Turbot are know to frequent. Flat seas and warmer weather seems to do well up here in the North East. I prefer slightly overcast conditions but they will feed in sunlight. Clear water helps a great deal too. Fish baits, mackerel, bluey and sandeel if preferred. 👍
Another great video. Fished Druridge on the flood on Saturday afternoon but the sea was too lumpy for fatties and not enough surf for bass. 1 flounder between me and my lad, but it was nice to be out on the beach

Lovely video nice flatties as well I have fished that beach before unfortunately I blanked but my mate I used to fish with before he moved south had a nice bass bit of a trek for me living in Darlington I like my cod fishing in the winter but do summer fishing as well when work doesn't get in the way plus like yourself at peace when fishing even if I don't catch oh nice hoddies as well would like to win one of those

Really interesting to hear your take on UA-cam and it getting disheartening at times. I gave up sticking new content on with my fish breeding as UA-cam would only push my short videos and even then it all seemed to be about putting a clickbait title on which isnt my style.
Coming up your way fishing in August with a mate and staying near Beadnell.
Absolutely love fishing the end of the rocks for pollock down there its one of my favourite places to be at dawn.

Hi Jason, I generally cut the fillets into cubes for flatfish. It tends to fish better if you defrost the day before and leave it in your box. Gets nice and smelly 😉

Hi Phil . Thank you for watching. Some days are not too bad for me as I generally fish very early tides. Others can be quite bad depending on the day etc.
