Thanks, The Crusader, I'm glad you like it! If you wanted to paint some of them up in these colours, you could have them as the Palid Hand warband, fighting alongside the Death Guard? That would give you the opportunity to use the scheme without re-painting the miniatures you've already done?
I had the same thought. I just painted some characters in this Heresy sceme. It also makes sence since they are most likely older than their foul brothers
Thanks, AsieXt, much appreciated. That's right, it's undercoated using either Citadel Corax White spray, or Halfords White Primer. It's always worth giving something a test spray before using them on your miniatures though. :)
The Brush & Boltgun yeah it's a decent place. TBH just the GW stuff ie 40k. I'd like to start Bolt Action and would like to start painting other historical stuff but not sure I'd have the time to play other games.
Peninsula Painting Projects I keep looking at Bolt Action too. I’m on the verge of buying US Airborne but haven’t taken the plunge yet. It’s only a matter of time! Haha Just picked up Saga which is a lot of fun. Going to be painting them for a while... 😂
Painting my mortarion with this method (once he finally arrives) How would you do this worth vehicles such as the plagueburst crawler without the sepia shade pooling?
It's SUCH a good miniature! It's huge so takes a while, but worth the time and the effort! :). I did a step by step on the blog at painting Mortarion (brushandboltgun.com/2017/10/22/mortarion-daemon-primarch-of-nurgle-part-1-legs/) which you may find useful. :) I think I'd mainly try and shade the areas with the details rather than the whole miniature. I have a Plagueburst Crawler waiting to be painted, so it's likely you'll see that coming here one day. I defo think just shading the details would work best though, will save any poolings or excess painting. :)
Hi Alan, It don't use a specific ratio for it, but it's probably around 2:1 white to Ushabti Bone. I usually add the Ushabti to the white until it looks right and then go from there. :)
Hi Vladimir, Thanks for watching. :) After the initial Seraphim Sepia shade, I've used Ushabti Bone mixed with white to get the armour's cream colour. :)
Hey Jonathan, thanks for watching! :) He’s primed with Halfords matt white primer or Citadel Corax White primer - it’s been a while but I only use one or the other. :)
Absolutely gorgeous.
Cheers Liam, very much appreciated! :)
After just picking up the Council of the Death Lord by pure accident, and having struggled finding a good white paint scheme. You, sir, are a godsend!
Cheers Chris, very much appreciated! :) I’m a sucker for Death Guard (as you can tell from the amount if Death Guard vids! Haha) 😁🙌🙌

After seeing some of your videos on Death Guard, I really wish I had gone for the white instead of the green :(

Hello. Really nice tutorial. Is miniature under coated in a white color?

Do you attend any local gaming clubs to Liverpool? (that's if you still live there).
I try and get into Just Play when I can, but not as often as I'd like. How about you?
The Brush & Boltgun oh do you! Was there last night playing MTG. I don't have much time myslef but I go there and The Wargame store on the Wirral.
Hah! Cool man, what other games do you play? I know the wargames store, I've popped in there a fair few times on the way past. :)

What ratio of white to ushabti bone are you using for the armour?
Hi Alan, It don't use a specific ratio for it, but it's probably around 2:1 white to Ushabti Bone. I usually add the Ushabti to the white until it looks right and then go from there. :)
What’s the color on the tubing?
Hi Matthew, do you mean the hosepipe kind of tubing? It's Vallejo Dark Flesh. :)
yes thank you
Ushabti Bone + lahmian medium+serapin sephia after shade?
Hi Vladimir, Thanks for watching. :)
After the initial Seraphim Sepia shade, I've used Ushabti Bone mixed with white to get the armour's cream colour. :)
@@BrushandBoltgun What is the cream color you use?
It’s Ushabti Bone mixed with white. :)
What is he priming with
Hey Jonathan, thanks for watching! :) He’s primed with Halfords matt white primer or Citadel Corax White primer - it’s been a while but I only use one or the other. :)
