I do prefer a decent squat rack + high low pulley attachment. But this one definitely is a good alternative, especially more space efficient cause a squat rack and barbell takes a lot of space. The thing is barbell benchpressing, barbell squating, deadlifting, military press, are just the best exercises out there and the cable versions aren't the same.

Spend more money and get FT1 which gives you true 100lbs each side (after the upgrade) or get with 300lbs+, pay attention to ratio when you buy multitraining machine.
just bought one today at Costco. I was there yesterday, they had a whole stack of them, came back today and I got the last one on the pallet. They sell like hotcakes. Question, what's with the 21 number stickers? There's only 15 plates per side so why the 16-21 stickers? I don't understand. Maybe this is the same set they throw in a bigger version or something? Because the guide stem that sticks through the plates only has 15 holes. Other than that, I love it so far. Smooth great quality!
My main concern was the amount of resistance it could offer. You said it's more than enough unless you're a really big guy, but then proceeded to do several movements using the entire weight stack. Haha. Later on you showed how both weight stacks could be used for rows, which could help. I'm still concerned about tricep pulldowns and maybe face pulls... I don't see how that could be done comfortably with both weight stacks.
Good review bro!! Just ordered one from Costco and was wondering how good it would be. Looks like it’s gonna do the job and then some. Done with these gyms waiting to open.
It’s great! Can do every kind of exercise and variations of that I think you can do with the cable machine at the gym. I also bought several different styles handles to use with it from Amazon. Really versatile. One stack for certain exercises where you can’t link both weight stacks may be light, if your are a heavy lifter.
Thanks for the review. When you say installation, is it just putting it together? Or do you have to hire someone to bolt it into the ground? I’m also trying to get this for my garage. 1200 on Costco free delivery
Just bought one at Costco $1,399 had to drive 45 to 50 minutes to a Costco far from where I live the only Costco that had 3 left all the Costcos in phx were sold out when I seen this machine I was like I have to buy it at that price set it up in 2 hrs this machine is smooth its just like the ones at the gym very good quality it's heavy which is a good thing I would highly recommend it
Inspire Fitness sells barbell and EZ curl bar with hooks. Do you think we can bench press (incline/decline) with this attachments? Any info is greatly appreciated.
You mightve just convinced me to pull the trigger and get this! Was debating for a while to stick to building a pulley attachment but knowing I can stack both sides on a lat pull down & even work my hamstrings.. Got me. Great review.
Great video showing why a cable functional trainer is so great. I went with the XMark because I wanted more space between the pulley trollies. Without a doubt, when I added my functional trainer to my comprehensive home gym, I added the most effective and safe piece of equipment I've ever used, better than barbells and dumbbells. Selectorized stacks with adjustable cables take the "chore" factor out of lifting. It's easy for even beginners to work through an effective routine due to the initial low weight.
Ok so I have the titan cable tower v3 which I like a lot to do cable work. Also have the Valor lat pull down machine and prx rack...anyways do you think it should be worth it for me to get this machine still?
Hey man, sorry if you’ve already answered this, but I’m about 6’4 and was wondering if you think I’ll be too tall for this. I see you doing a lot of the workouts on the ground anyways so maybe it won’t be a huge issue hopefully. Would love to make this purchase.
So should I sell my small valor lat pull down machine and my v3 titan cable tower and get one of this functional cable trainers?? Can I do everything my lat pull downachine can do?

Thank you for showing exercises I did not know how to do on this type of machine: squat strap, assisted pullups, bench hamstring curls. Awesome video!
Good review bro!! Just ordered one
from Costco and was wondering how good it would be. Looks like it’s gonna do the job and then some. Done with these gyms waiting to open.
After tax and delivery $1400
It’s great! Can do every kind of exercise and variations of that I think you can do with the cable machine at the gym.
I also bought several different styles handles to use with it from Amazon. Really versatile. One stack for certain exercises where you can’t link both weight stacks may be light,
if your are a heavy lifter.
Thanks for the review. When you say installation, is it just putting it together? Or do you have to hire someone to bolt it into the ground? I’m also trying to get this for my garage. 1200 on Costco free delivery
Just bought one at Costco $1,399 had to drive 45 to 50 minutes to a Costco far from where I live the only Costco that had 3 left all the Costcos in phx were sold out when I seen this machine I was like I have to buy it at that price set it up in 2 hrs this machine is smooth its just like the ones at the gym very good quality it's heavy which is a good thing I would highly recommend it
I think it was a really good review. I say “think” cause I couldn’t hear you very well duevto the loud music.
Thanks! I noticed that too 🥲
@@vinhgeta I’m liking your car stuff too. Thanks for posting
Inspire Fitness sells barbell and EZ curl bar with hooks. Do you think we can bench press (incline/decline) with this attachments? Any info is greatly appreciated.
No music in the videos. Hard to hear and irritating
You mightve just convinced me to pull the trigger and get this! Was debating for a while to stick to building a pulley attachment but knowing I can stack both sides on a lat pull down & even work my hamstrings.. Got me. Great review.
I still think it’s a great value but 👍 my favorite piece the garage gym
Great video. You sold me.
Totally worth it bro!
What's up bro? Hey should I get the ftx with the bench or I don't really need tje bench? Iam thinking about buying the ironmaster pro bench.
Very helpful video. Thank you
Hey man, sorry if you’ve already answered this, but I’m about 6’4 and was wondering if you think I’ll be too tall for this. I see you doing a lot of the workouts on the ground anyways so maybe it won’t be a huge issue hopefully. Would love to make this purchase.
Use Silicone lubricant to oil the chrome beams ONLY. Do NOT use regular WD-40!!!!!
Awesome informative video! What floor mats do you recommend?
Horse small mats from Tractor Supply or local like stores!
So should I sell my small valor lat pull down machine and my v3 titan cable tower and get one of this functional cable trainers?? Can I do everything my lat pull downachine can do?
