  • Unlimited Sword is probably the strongest talent art in Xenoblade Chronicles 3! In this guide, I'll show you how to use all three forms it can take.

    Good vid overall. You are missing a few things about attacker fl7 though. There's an item called shackle ring that boosts damage and topple and launch duration for every art you cancel into another art or "chain" together. It ends up boosting the damage of fl7 by 3x. On top of that you can use the lapadarist class, soulhacker's crit dmg plus and power charge art, and origin blade's reduce all debuff to do upwards of 7x damage compared to a base lucky seven. There are a few vids on my channel detailing a weaker setup that's viable for main story and speedruns. Mainly the mobius Y fights.

      Completely forgot about shackle ring, definitely going to check that out! Lapidarist didn't exist when I made this guide though so I didn't really miss it.
      Edit: Also wanted to add that I appreciate that you're leaving a well thought out and helpful response, unlike *some* people on my most recent video. Really appreciate that!

    Also Instant Unilimited Sword provides you with one of the best CP+Exp farming methods in the game.
    Unlimited Sword has a chance to apply Doom on Auto attacks and Arts which can insta-kill Elite Enemies. Doing this in the cavern with level 95+ enemies (The one where Ouroboros powers are sealed) can allow you to insta-wipe Elite Enemy packs for a ton of EXP and CP. Easily allowing you to hit level 99 and Rank 10/20 your classes for your party with a cooking boost.
    It can also help you level another Flash Fencer to rank 20 and allow them to use Capable Hands with Troubadour's Buff-Timer Pause. Pausing Noah's initial Invincibility for as long as possible getting rid of the aggro issue until you build up Interlink and Chain Attacks. With the right strategy you can effectively make Noah an immortal AOE Smash-Combo machine capable of speed-killing nearly any unique monster.
    There's a reason Unlimited Sword was restricted in Land of Challenge until you unlock it again.

      Unlimited Sword isn't locked in challenge mode unless you're playing hard difficulty.

      Yeah it carried me to nearly the very end of the hardest challenge gauntlet. Definitely the best of the forms there since you can get tons of healing and damage out of it (and invincibility is useless in the second half of the final gauntlet).

    a couple things to note
    1: you should always have capable hands on lucky seven, ESPECIALLY attacker, as it allows you to charge interlink much faster, so you can avoid aggro that way, and then go into a chain attack whenever you want.
    2. both chain attack and interlink pause lucky seven timer, so they are good to use always.
    3. noah’s ouroborus changes its talent art to origin blade always in lucky seven. This allows you to get more than one origin blade off, even on hard mode.
    4. Healer Lucky Seven has a hidden ability nothing else has in the game, in which Noah is able to revive party member with invincibility. Combine this power with the devotional necklace, which fully recharges arts on revive, and reviving suddenly becomes a key part of the healer kit, and makes it not outclassed.
    5. The order of effectiveness is Attacker>Defender>Healer for lucky seven, healer is still the worst even with the invincible revive and attacker is just the all around most useful

      I prefer the tank form over attacker because you can use glittering melody (Troubadour talent art) to freeze the invincibility and keep the party protected for a crazy long time (even more is using the gem that boosts buff duration). It also doesn't have aggro problems because it's a tank, whereas with attacker, the other tank classes just can't keep up (the tank classes in xenoblade 3 are kinda weak honestly).
      I do agree that I should have used capable hands with the attacker form. I did some testing *after* making the video and the time to wait for the tanks to get enough aggro to keep it off Noah is still less time than charging Unlimited Sword yourself. I should have just said that you need to wait a little before actually using it (around 10-20 seconds was the average time I needed to wait).
      Didn't know about the healer invincibility revive though. Does devotional necklace recharge the arts of the person it's on (as in, each person would need it) or does it recharge the arts of whichever person is revived by a healer using it?

      @@xanonblade Glittering melody with tank sounds very powerful, it also does more damage the more attacks it evades so lucky seven can be a decent dodge tank too. As for attacker yes it has an aggro problem but you can mitigate this with good play. wait a bit before you attack, and build your interlink to level 3 slowly. once you have that you can use it as a get out of jail free card for a while aggro wise because you’re immune to damage in ouroboros. chain attack is also good for this. As for devotional necklace, it charges the arts of the person that did the reviving, so when noah revives in healer lucky seven with the devotional necklace accessory, he can fully recharge all of his arts in lucky seven that way.

      Also, on healer lucky seven specifically, i recommend stacking effects that lower aggro gain, because healer lucky seven hates being targeted. can also potentially be nice on attacker too but it can be much harder to take advantage of because of the absurd AOE damage

      @SkywardSquittle Рік тому

      Tank form is honestly pretty nice but I’d still give the edge to attack form because Fraternal Badges and Protector’s Pride are incredible for buffers (also use it on Ogre Sena because nonstop combos) and with enough buff spam, everyone basically becomes untouchable

    Yeah. The Defender Lucky Seven is amazing for first timers. The ability to chain Invincibility helps a lot. Later on with more offensive Talent Art Spam builds it is better to go full offense and Full Combo Talent Art to more quickly finish off enemies.

      Agreed, it's been nearly a year since this video so I could definitely do better with the attacker and healer forms now (actually found healer form to be amazing in challenge gauntlets) but defender is easily the best for people playing the game for the first time.

    I never considered using Unlimited Blade on Tank Noah. That's a really cool idea!
    Not using capable hands on an attacker class is a horrible idea tho. You use capable hands, use interlink to pass invincibility and endlessly spam arts. I've got a video on that if you're interested.
    Anyways that strategy requires a lot of set-up and the tank version looks a lot more fun because it doesn't completely break the game.

      Tank form combined with glittering melody from Troubadour can keep the whole party invincible for even longer after unlimited sword runs out.

      @ze_darku_magician5504 Рік тому +1

      @@xanonblade Attacker form can do the same. It's a little more difficult to pull off but you get the upside of literally one-shotting everything in the game. Enel has got a showcase of this in his swordfighter guide and I also made a video about it as I said before. It's really fun.
      I might try running Noah as a tank for challenge mode tho since invincibility is disabled there and he could probably be really good at keeping aggro.
