I agree on this, at first I am really thinking that something's missing on the scene. But yeah, global lighting will blend the overall assets. Also, most of the assets are too clean and sharp in edges, adding some blur & fog might compensate. But the overall process, it's admirable for you having this so much patience.

1st convert the footage as image sequence(png,jpeg or anything). Select the object you want your footage to import, Goto node editor, Shift+a, Texture, image texture, Select all the image. Ok

You dont really need greenscreen for this one. It will only makes the process longer. You just have to track the camera and simulate particles. But the particle simulation mabe tricky. And as far as i know. Inflating the baloon after it falls to the ground is impossible in blender.

Yes. If you're not gonna inflate the particles after it falls. It's 100 % possible in blender. 1st take the the video. Track that footage, Simulate the particles, Roto or mask the character who stands on the right so that the particles will not jumps infront of him. Compose every thing back in blender. This is the blueprint. And hey I can't type every instruction on how to do that. But Don't worry. Wait for my next video. You will find how
This seems like a very inefficient workflow. Why are you doing the tracking and compositing in Blender, when that is basically what After Effects is designed for. Frankly, I'd have taken this scene out from Blender to Unreal - rendered it using the real-time ray tracer in Unreal. Exported the scenes as layers and brought them into after effects for composition. I gave up on rendering anything out of Blender - Unreal provides photo-real results in real-time (or almost real time).
thank you for your tutorial! but was interesting to know how did you fight against the edges that appears in a green screen texture imported from after effects. i have this problem. when i pull a key with after effects it's perfect, with all hair details retained, but when i import the keyed textures in blender a strange edge around the subject appears and i don't know how to remove it.
When you add keys in after effects to remove the greenscreen... Select keylight + key cleaner + advance spill suppressor option...from the effects. Spill suppressor will remove the green edges

There's a premultiply option before import to plane. Check that option. This will get rid oglf that problem
When you add keys in after effects to remove the greenscreen...
