Thanks, Jim such a strange feeling when you have been playing guitar for 50 years and you learn this. It's almost like the mystery sounds from old sci-fi movies you would hear it a lot like the spring sound never experienced anyone show this technique. :)
Great video. Would you say that you are using the same set of muscles for vibrato, as you use for string bending? I recall a 1960s Michael Bloomfield magazine article, in which he states the importance of muting adjacent strings while he bends notes. I got a chuckle from the "hippie vibrato" comment.
