I picked up my 2023 RS5 Sportback just over a week ago. Absolutely loving it. Daytona Gray Pearl with the Competition Package. I've been finding myself randomly driving for no reason just to take her out. Absolutely fun to drive.
This is now my #2 favorite looking since the IS 350/500 F sport came out. Even the new s3 looks are in the running but there's just something about this sportback tho
Getting the 2024 in a few months. Had to order it though given the features I wanted. Glacier Metallic White blacked out with the ventilated seats (Hate racing styles and the stitch). The issue with the black out feature is for some reason the front emblem is black on black grille. Which makes no sense so when it arrives, ill be swapping it out with a custom job. I have an emblem in process of being painted with the same glacier metallic white of the vehicle.
The only thing i wish audi would change with the s5, is update the infotainment and dash to the current dual screen set up. The screen sticking up in the center just doesn't look nearly as appealing to me as what's in the s3, s6 and so on. If it had the same layout, the s5 would be a no brainer for my future daily. As of right now, an s6 is what i am wanting to save up for.
Is the infotainment really that big of a deal? Most people just plug in their phones and play everything from there. Do you really engage with the system that much?😊
@Dance1617 i guess i shouldn't have said infotainment because it isn't about that. It's the out of place looking display. Like it was stuck on as an afterthought. Makes it look a lot more dated. The A3, A6, A7, and A8 all have the updated screens, and they look absolutely wonderful and look like they were actually designed to fit within the entire dash instead of it being an afterthought. I don't really know why the A4 and A5 haven't gotten the same treatment.
Yeah I understand the interior kinda looks a bit outdated or weird for this time. One of my favourite audi interiors has to be the one in audi etron gt.
Traded my TTRS in on a 2023 Glacier Prestige Sportback, has everything the TTRS was lacking, except the power. This car should lengthen my lifespan not driving as crazy as the TTRS.
Kia stinger is way cheaper than Audi S5 in canada.Brand new with all the options the audi will cost around 80k plus tax. The Kia is 40k with the options it will only go upto 50k max. Even used s5 cost more than a brand new stinger
The first iteration in 2018, maybe, but thankfully everything's been ironed out since this is the last of this model before the 2025 redesign. While at peak is was about 540 dollars more a year over standardized maintenance for all vehicles. That is expected to come down to 300 a year more for this iteration. Main reason I held out till now for the S5.
