Byron Schroedel I know it’s been awhile but I tell people something similar all the time, that being happy is a choice and if you try to be happy you will
I get it I am almost 3 years late to this video! You just made my day with a smile! I am from Plano, TX... not far from Arlington... way before Cowboys Stadium, way before even the ball park in arlington, we went to six flags and wet & wild multiple times a year. Sitting here stuck inside in my house in Dominican Republic during the Covid-19 stuff, this video made me smile! Thank you!
@Derek Charette There have been studies done and armed security patrols do actually deter crime. Criminals don't go for difficult targets, they go for the easy score. And armed guard actively patrolling an area is not an easy score.
This is a very late reply but, I used to work for a company that had a work truck and trailer broken into at a high end motel in Las Vagas. The trailer was emptied out except for a tool box that was bolted down and a pair of work boots. The motel did have security personnel in the parking lot and that made no difference at all.
You'd think the Hilton would have a few security guards driving around so their guest don't have to deal with that crap! Especially if it's so common and they know it's an issue!
BrokenRRT they can either spend 1k once posting signs everywhere saying they aren't liable for anything that happens to vehicles in their lot, or they can spend several 100k a year on round the clock security. Not that I think it's right, but I think the choice for them is clear...
"apparently this happens a lot in Arlington, TX." Yeah. That's an understatement. Had someone try to steal my spare tire on the back of my bronco while I was eating at TGI Friday

I know this is an old video... but due to a recent break in with my own vehicle... I completely understand what you guys dealt with here. I was parked at my local bowling alley, place i've been countless times. This time around, someone decided to break out my passenger window and steal a tablet and a laptop from the vehicle (both well hidden in the vehicle). It happened in broad daylight as well. Same situation... bowling alley was helpful but said "oh, yeah, that happens quite a bit". They do NOT have cameras on the outside of their building either... I cannot stand people who are willing to take from others... They really need to get off their lazy butts and put in the effort instead of taking from others who are putting in the effort to get ahead in life.

yes I moved to Dallas 6 weeks ago ( mostly due to you and your videos and because I was stationed at ft hood back in 05 - 08 ) any way in the last 6 weeks I have caught people in my car twice and my brand new house had squatter living in it before I moved in and of course they came back after we moved in and scared the hell out of my wife and three year old daughter... the first item we bought after getting our new Texas drivers licenses ( like literally a half hour after leaving the DPS) was a Canik tp9sf elite and a Ruger mark III 22 Target to get my wife comfortable with shooting
Jtx 2048 you might have a point. But theft and violence in their parking lot can't be that great either. Matt could maybe post info on the car that was stolen in case anyone sees it they could call their local police?
I would be willing to bet the hotel wont give up the video. Some bullshit privacy law I'm sure. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for privacy, but protecting the criminal is ridiculous.
Fun fact. Some of the really fast roller coasters can make you black out for a spot second because you are moving so fast that it takes the split second for your brain to catch up with what you're seeing
When you experience G's like that on the Titan, you need to flex your butt and thighs. With deep short breaths holding it for 5 seconds. It keeps all your blood from going to your legs and blacking out. Like so Matt will see!
powpowking1209 If you pass out on rollercoaster then that is bad I've experienced 4 1/2 G's in a friend of mines plane and I was fine during it my brother got sick though.
Exactly. Don't steal others stuff. Go work and get your own nice things. You'll feel like a better person for it. I'm sorry this happened. I'm glad no one got hurt. But it still sux..
This will probably get lost in the comments but i used to work at six flags I worked the Mine-Train, The mini mine-train and the gunslinger. Watching your little ones ride Mini Mine-Train made my day! thanks!
Most likely, the car was stolen to facilitate other crimes, like drug dealing. If they are caught, they abandon the vehicle and flee on foot, and nothing ties the car to them. It's very common. The car will eventually be found, probably after it is crashed into something. And law enforcement doesn't respond with an officer because there's nothing to physically investigate until the car is found. They take the plate and VIN, but that's all they need.
Robert Arthur security cameras. They can always use security cameras. And it's best to get there and get the tapes as soon as they possibly can, hell the car could have still been close
Robert Arthur yes i watch british crime shows and the car gets tracked down but the do anything to not get caught but america could be diffrent but brits reck the car and can even smash it up but prey for matt and family

SuperUncleRyan you sound like the type of customer I hated. Mistakes happen and if you get mad about onions on a burger, you're in for a treat during life.
Yeah, it's a thing there for the police not to have time for auto theft, because it happen so often. Not hating on the Blue, I love you guys but I understand the frustration. My truck was stolen from my girlfriends apartment in Dallas in December 2015. Had all my tools in it. We were in the process of moving to Mississippi. I even gave the investigating detective the Lo-Jack on the truck, and they wouldn't go get it. I was HOT!
Shawn Wood, if I hadn't been trying to move at the time I would have been all over getting it back on my own. It was ridiculous to not get any help. Instead I had to settle for an insurance right-off.
why the hell would the police not come?!? His car was stolen and someone else's truck window was smashed and they were stolen from! The police either need to get their shit together or hire more officers so that they can have enough to cover stolen cars. Ps: I know cops are nice, but the cops there have problems
What happens is that there are more reports of more serious crimes that get reported.. you can have trippled their force capacity and still not have enough people to report to thefts purely because serious crimes shift and go up and down all the time. You need to realize that when they say it will be awhile they are busy. And if they call you and say they are not coming it means there is bad shit going down.. Oh Idk. Cases of battery, assault, attempted murder, child abduction, rape etc.
catindabox Listen all I'm saying is that these situations are frustrating. Sorry for coming on so rude I guess. It just upsets me when things like this happen.

Swap "in" with down and your comment would make more sense.
Adam Lawrence Have you seen the size of a 50? Pretty sure "in" still works lol 😎
Aaron Price 'in' DEFINITELY still works. Even if not as correct grammatically, in this scenario it almost works as well.
skydiving gamer lol
It's breaking, I'm surprised that hasn't been brought up yet you fellow Nazi's
Attendant: "you're not allowed to record on this ride"
Matt: "okay"
*turns camera on 10 seconds later* lmao
Matt I just wanted to say you are such an awesome person. You work hard, you raise a good family, you are just a great guy. Keep on doing what you are doin
Matt showed his aggressive side, boy would I hate to be the guy that dates one of his daughters and brings her back late he would "punch them to the ground" 😂 gah I love Matt. No homo
Aditya Kotapalli 😂
*LOL*
Punch?? He owns like 100 guns and 3 of them are 50 cals.
F CHINO-jr. disgusting
Aditya Kotapalli 😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Firmly show them which direction they should be going in life" (shoot them) 😂😂😂
hey im from dfw and if you post on fb groups to be in the look out sometimes people do get there things back and yes itd very common around here well i hooe you see this and try to post on dfw auto market
Eduardo Roman has a point. Spreads like wildfire here in DFW
+
Eduardo Roman yes it is very common Matt. Arlington dallas/ftw area is Alot more ghetto than we're you're from in Texas I'm sure.
I really doubt they will want their car back after those criminals trash it. Or they'll get to take a nice hit on their insurance reimbursement for their stolen vehicle. Either way they're going to take a big financial hit.
ik theres chop shops in dallas dont know were exactly though and tbh yea either way if they get there car back itll have a salvage title due to theft it happens alot here in fortworth
Happens far too much here in the U.K. TOO! The world has turned on its head but as you say life goes on and you and your family totally have a great bond and a great time! Keep up the amazing work and videos that you do matt! Marc.
yes I moved to Dallas 6 weeks ago ( mostly due to you and your videos and because I was stationed at ft hood back in 05 - 08 ) any way in the last 6 weeks I have caught people in my car twice and my brand new house had squatter living in it before I moved in and of course they came back after we moved in and scared the hell out of my wife and three year old daughter... the first item we bought after getting our new Texas drivers licenses ( like literally a half hour after leaving the DPS) was a Canik tp9sf elite and a Ruger mark III 22 Target to get my wife comfortable with shooting
Hell ya serve it to em!.
"It was at this moment he knew....."😂😂
If the hotel gives you the footage you should post it on your channel. With all your viewers it would be awesome if someone was able to help.
Michael. Seriously this could work. I've seen youtubers fans do some amazing things if it helps out. If Matt can I hope he posts the video!
Witch hunts are bad for business. This is actually a horrible idea.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for privacy, but protecting the criminal is ridiculous.
they would get put on hold for 2 hours though, just a heads-up... :)
Fun fact. Some of the really fast roller coasters can make you black out for a spot second because you are moving so fast that it takes the split second for your brain to catch up with what you're seeing
Give us a description of your brother in laws car, I bet one of your 1mil fans will find it and firmly point them in the right direction
3:11: "You're not allowed to record on this." 3:12: (records anyway) Thug Life
When you experience G's like that on the Titan, you need to flex your butt and thighs.
The Guy On The Minibike everyone has different Gforce tolerances. Humans don't have one set g force that they all black out at
Jolly Llama Oh that makes sense
powpowking1209 "Deep short breaths" what about "Top long breaths"
The Guy On The Minibike everyone has a different tolerance, and this ride pulls 4.5 Gs also.
He knows when to put the camera down. You’re a really good dad! Love the channels
Exactly. Don't steal others stuff.
Go work and get your own nice things. You'll feel like a better person for it.
I'm sorry this happened. I'm glad no one got hurt.
But it still sux..
Am i the only one who feels that Annie is going to step into Matt's shoes one day?
No
"Im never going on a roller coaster again" *3 minutes later* "we're going on a rollercoaster" (7:35)
This will probably get lost in the comments but i used to work at six flags I worked the Mine-Train, The mini mine-train and the gunslinger. Watching your little ones ride Mini Mine-Train made my day! thanks!
*Stomach dropped when I saw the title*
Frank22 too bad your balls didnt
Damn
Roasted
Frank22 get roasted
Smell that? That's roast.
i grew up around arlington. look to your left and to your right. chances are one of them is a thief
Devin Rovell that's just messed up and sad
Robert Arthur ii
KhatKat13 s
Robert Arthur no duh
The kiddos have gotten so big. It’s crazy how fast they grow isn’t it?! My oldest son and husband and I watch your videos all the time. Three years goes my so quick haha.
Arlington is on the downhill crime wise so that's why people aren't phased, rough area around six flags/hurricane harbor/stadiums
North Arlington is really bad !!
@1:03
"Let's teleport... there!"
/teleports
"IT WORKED!"
lmao
Imagine if he had to shoot the person who was stealing the car, while he was vlogging...
Caleb Bernstein you can't shoot people over property crimes
Brandon_ 7.62x39 in Texas you can
Yea. That's a forcible felony
Amawaska v2 texas section 941 (a) A person in lawful possession of land or tangible, movable property is justified in using force against another when and to the degree the actor reasonably believes the force is immediately necessary to prevent or terminate the other's trespass on the land or unlawful interference with the property.
I'm a liberal New Yorker. That is by far my favorite thing about Texas. Castle doctrine, stand your ground, all great deterrents.
you never realized that Sam was visibly shaking when he saw you. UA-camrs have such a profound effect on people its amazing
That dog barking at the end is so funny.
I always watch to the end just to giggle at the yappy dog. :-)
You should react to some of your old demolition ranch videos I recently went back and watched a lot of them they were good and I would want to see your reaction to the old videos
He should
at first I thought someone have stole his Raptor
Chris Bennett clickbaits you know..
sahlool how did u get the raptor when they drove the SUV
I thought that before I watched the video
Chris Bennett same!!
then they would've gotten 50 cal sniper rifles and ar15s and some more guns along with the car 0.o
I went to six flags when I was 7 with my mom and that very first roller coaster has stayed in my head for 6 years after, made me really happy to see more young eyes love it too.
Matt and Mere, you are going to have you hands full with Annie. Good Luck
Howard Meeks They have two other children
I know that, but Annie seems to be the wild child of the trio.
Sit in a hotel window over parking lot with a 50bmg anti car theft device
Hahaha 😂
So sorry for your brother-in-law, I've been through it and it isn't fun.
I can’t help but smile when I see Annie’s smile on the rollercoaster
You have to go to Cedar Point Ohio for the besttttt roller coasters!
Patriot1776 Omg for real!!! Magnum XL200 is my favvv!
Exilitis it's a classic and def the predecessor to the Millennium Force which is my favorite! I mean literally you could ride the Blue Streak and Mean Streak and have the best experience there
It will be to cold for him since the park is right next to the lake
Byrnee 30 too cold???? It was 90 degrees the other day! Lol if anything the lake looks mighty refreshing in that heat lol
Maverick is the best at Cedar Point. It has such aggressive turns. Mean Streak is gone. They're dismantling it now. And yeah, it's hot up here now.
invest in a throw away phone with gps tracking on it sync to your phone sting op u might need the 50 cal jk
Don't even need the phone, you can get one of these www.amazon.com/VIFLYKOO-BSJ-A5E-3-Tracking-Waterproof-Anti-Theft/dp/B078XRFFQS/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1521333115&sr=1-3&keywords=GPS+Tracker%2C+VIFLYKOO+BSJ-A5E-3+Vehicle+GPS+Tracking+System or you can get put together some DIY electronics and write a little code yourself and make your own GPS tracker
jeez your anger is like my normal phase lol
I get nastier when they forget to leave the onions off of my hamburger.
You sound pleasant to be around
Im No Chef Natasha I'm worse when they but sweet pickles on my burger
SuperUncleRyan you sound like the type of customer I hated. Mistakes happen and if you get mad about onions on a burger, you're in for a treat during life.
IronOxide Man ikr just take the onions off its not a big problem
That security guards thumb was just shaking!! He was so excited to meet you!!! Id be the same way
9:32 You can see the security guards hand shake
SleepingGiant Okay?
SleepingGiant my hands shake quite often. what's your point?
Poor guy must've been nervous AF!
Awww :p
Yeah, it's a thing there for the police not to have time for auto theft, because it happen so often. Not hating on the Blue, I love you guys but I understand the frustration. My truck was stolen from my girlfriends apartment in Dallas in December 2015. Had all my tools in it. We were in the process of moving to Mississippi. I even gave the investigating detective the Lo-Jack on the truck, and they wouldn't go get it. I was HOT!
Frank Gentry I would have been like fine you don't got the time to get the truck, but I do. I will call you when things start going south.
Shawn Wood, if I hadn't been trying to move at the time I would have been all over getting it back on my own. It was ridiculous to not get any help. Instead I had to settle for an insurance right-off.
They must have a "Don't Do Our Job Policy".
Just another reason to support the 2nd Amendment. Forget "minutes away", when bad things happen the police may not even show up at all.
Here in south Texas if your car/truck was stolen the police would be there in a minute or two. I can't believe the police didn't even show up.
Isaías García which part of South Texas
Omg 😂😂 Mere definitely checked out the “package” at the beginning of the video. I’m ded 😂😂💀
0:35
why the hell would the police not come?!? His car was stolen and someone else's truck window was smashed and they were stolen from! The police either need to get their shit together or hire more officers so that they can have enough to cover stolen cars. Ps: I know cops are nice, but the cops there have problems
Matt is basically a cop with all his guns lol
What happens is that there are more reports of more serious crimes that get reported.. you can have trippled their force capacity and still not have enough people to report to thefts purely because serious crimes shift and go up and down all the time. You need to realize that when they say it will be awhile they are busy. And if they call you and say they are not coming it means there is bad shit going down.. Oh Idk. Cases of battery, assault, attempted murder, child abduction, rape etc.
That kind of thing happens all over the country. That's why I laugh hysterically when people think the police will always protect you.
catindabox Listen all I'm saying is that these situations are frustrating. Sorry for coming on so rude I guess. It just upsets me when things like this happen.
What's the point in showing up in the one place the car is not.
do a video for demo ranch how many pieces of dry wall against a 50 bmg
Texas Gamer sure he's done that?
Aaron Stafford i want him yo do that
Drywall is pretty much paper to a 50.... like it would take a LOT of drywall.
Dean Fisher well duh u know what else is like paper to a 50 bmg your skull
Texas Gamer aww somebody got their feelings hurt 😂😂
We got a grill stolen out of our driveway at 12:00in the evening
For me the END of a roller coaster is the best part.
You're not able to record on-
OK!
*does it anyway*
True madlad. :D
I hate dishonesty and thievery. I'm sorry it happened to him.
I spent 7 years for shooting the guy in the back of his neck trying to steal my ford f150 back in 04
Man smh gotta love that " system" aye? Sorry man nothing can get that time back 👊stay up.
you should have shot him in the front on his face ........im figuring you shot him as he was going away from you, youd have got less maybe even have got away with it
@@brianrobertson4229 that's exactly what happened...
@@haveaniceday9136 thanks man
But it wasn't your fault sorry to hear it man
Watching this makes me really miss my dad a lot. He passed away from cancer this march, and now dealing with this corona virus stuff just makes it all worse 😔
