80psi?! I'm sure there'd be no trouble with lowered psi. I recall seeing a Unimog struggling on what looked like flat wet ground with full lockers with full PSI.
I used GPS on my phone. I got it up to 68 and still had more to go but it was sketchy! It was almost topped out. But still I said it was fast enough. But with that being said I could cruise 60mph very easy. And it wasn't turning red line.
All tread patterns pack up at some point . Chains are the only sure traction add on . Bigger the truck the bigger the recovery bill . There is very old school off road wisdom .
No had to let her go but she was very reliable maintenance was not to bad just pricey. She held 6 gallons of oil. 3 fuel filters. Only issue I really had with it was the injection pump had a fuel drips but didn't hurt anything from what I read on it. It was common for them to leak
@Jannis Joplin I see you hatin... what's up? Seems like your a little jelly bro... your bragging about how much money you got In your truck sounds like you got a expensive yard ornament. I wanna see some videos on yours..
I noticed that the tire wheel wells from front to rear are level.... I'm getting one of these guys from boyce equipment. Theirs don't appear to be level. Did you do any mods to achieve this? Thank you for your time.
Mine does have a 5 inch lift. They guy that I got it from took 5 inch steel c channel and welded it to the frame then put the cab back on the frame so its solid but yeah thats only thing that has been done
Watching him struggle in the mud should remind everyone why they are military 6X6 s not 4X4s . Looking good is one thing. Completing a mission is another.
Very true but I had this truck alot more on the road more than most people and the 4x4 was alot easier to turn and drive on the highway. Either way it was fun and everyone loved to see it going down the road or playing around the field. I had more fun with it and I never did any mission when she was retired from the army I made her a promise there would be no more missions to complete easy life from then on.
Trust me the other 2 tires spinning doesn't really do anything my m35a2 6x6 was a turd in mud .......these trucks are definitely not designed for mudding....
Agreed!! It started its life off as a winch truck but someone removed the pto winch and I always wanted to put one back on but you know ended up it selling before I could do that.
Agreed...not enough mass, and NOT ENOUGH TREAD on those super-inflated tires. I could pull my Powerwagon out there, and never spin a tire (as hard as that ground actually looks)... This is the SUPER problem with running those damn 'Super Singles' on everything...they were only indicated for use on A2 Automatics because of the lock-up torque converter...put the 11 x 20's back on there and you'll find that the original NDT Tires are FAR BETTER for traction in the exact same conditions running light like you are. Either that, or throw 2-tons of sand on the back end...your choice.
When I said the super singles were indicated for use on A2's, I of course was talking about the M923A2's with the Automatic transmission...which this DOESN'T SOUND LIKE IT HAS....
Yeah the video doesn't do the ground justice because it is a wet spot if you would like to bring your power wagon over and give it a try come on!!!!! I'm all for havn people try!! I have plenty of tread it's just the tire pressure. And needs weight. But it was the first time trying her out to see how it would do. It was fun and I had fun is all it was about that day. I love the truck and I would love to have a m923a2 they are sick just waiting on the price of them to come down some. But this is a really awesome truck it's my first m35
Duals been better of not non directionals better traction way to many psi for weight it carries like putting 10 ply 16 inches wide on a pickup at 120 psi absolutely zero traction ! Super singles suck go ask a dump truck / log trk driver . oh u won't find 1 with s singles zero traction
Bought the truck already bobbed and had tires already on truck. I know what your saying I used to drive a 18wheeler and I have driven off road my whole life. Theses tires did what they where designed to do. They where designed to float ontop the mud and that's what it was doing. Main thing in the whole video I was doing was playing with my truck in the mud. My truck got used and not sat in the yard and rusting to pieces.
Awesome truck, thanks for sharing! 😎👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
Cool truck👍
Thanks

I drove it alot of the road and 80 psi was great for that but I didn't air down for the mud
What speed you got with the 53s on the road? Im about to put the 395s on mines this week or next

Very true thats why I wanted to put a winch on it ! Lol
Cool truck dude!
Thanks
Si es una dicha ver vehículos de esa csteorilla gracias eso los enseña a poder distinguir lo mejor en veiculos
Thanks for watching
Do you still have the truck? What has reliability and maintenance been like?
No had to let her go but she was very reliable maintenance was not to bad just pricey. She held 6 gallons of oil. 3 fuel filters. Only issue I really had with it was the injection pump had a fuel drips but didn't hurt anything from what I read on it. It was common for them to leak
“I wanna mud truck” *cuts 2 wheels off*
And that's what I got! And it was 4 wheels not 2
deuce and a half honestly expected you to be pissed off😂 so I take it back nice vid im getting a m923 next month
🤣 I don't care my first thought was he is just jealous.🤣 my next truck I want is a m936a2 wrecker. So i can pull this one out when i get it stuck.
deuce and a half dang good combo make videos when you get it

In which place was this
Thr back yard lol
My idea of a proper pickup. Only needs a BIG winch on front bumper.
Agreed!! It started its life off as a winch truck but someone removed the pto winch and I always wanted to put one back on but you know ended up it selling before I could do that.
Poor truck got circumcised.
Hahahahha
Cool trucks but losing two wheels doesn't exactly help them out in mud. :)
It was bobbed before I got it. But that is 10 inches of mud with 80psi. But I'm having fun and I dont care.🤣
Yo quiero uno.
It was fun!
so much PSI the thing is floating across the mud lol
Atleast it didn't sink...🤣
Rad
Thanks
too much air in the tires
Absolutely
Not enough weight. This thing floats believe it or not. Plus 80 pounds of air doesnt help either.

That thing don't like reverse
No it really didn't
Lmao!!! Looks cool but cant go where most 2wd vehicles could go!!!
Hey I dont care it's still cool as hell!
Those tires are horrible lol
Truck does good considering it's at the edge of a swamp. But hey I love the hater comments! Most all of them are just jealous!!! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
The tires are fine, they were just overly inflated
Embarrassing... myears were crying! My eyes were on fire!
I can do that with my tricycle...
That truckcan do Better than that...
Well bring your tricycle on! I'm open to see this as well!! 🤣 that truck made me happy to play around and make the video. Lol thanks for watching.
