The 7mm is great but....131gr for moose? Thats just pushing ethical kills. Had that not been a spine shot things may have ended badly. Your choice worked but i completely disagree with your bullet weight.
That 131 acts like a 150 leaded bullet. Randy Newberg shot a moose with a 140 E-Tip out of a 7-08 and it worked just fine. This is producing scads more energy and penetration than that.
I've started load development with this same bullet and already getting 1" group at 3300 fps. Amazing.
