I went to our regional Burn and am going to The Big Burn this year! Yay!!! I am excited to help make an amazing experience for others.
So, I really want to work on an art installation this year (for the regional - and maybe inside the camp at BRC - who knows!) on the off season. So, how does someone do cool lights like this? It's it Linux? Are there special lighting programs? Is this all code? I cannot seem to find it online, but I also haven't looked super hard.
I want to make a small table (4-6 people) where you are looking through a kaleidoscope and then you push buttons to change the light color/strobing/shimmers for the other people. And some buttons can light up the table and chairs with their buttons. And someone gets to start/stop/change the music with their buttons.

What connects the smaller cube and the large cube? Just pipes or mirrors ? And which one of these cubes is a one way mirror and which a two?

W O W For the skills to do this kind of job alone you have to be an artist! I can't see the wires to the inner cube, the all glass cube and the perrect alignement of all the mirrors 🤘👍🤘 When I saw this I was wondering how cool it would be if the inner cube was a hyper cube, so with the mirror sides to the center of the smaler cube and leds inside the cube... Now you look onto the cube, then you look into it.

I am pretty sure the entire thing is hollow(minus the led cube in the middle and the supports) and the 5 panes are one way mirrors

You and Castello Coin / Plooshies should work on a piece together. Create a narrative to have their 18 inch 24K gold cube be "stolen" or "disappears" into one of the 4th dimension cubes until (enter some marketing / event goal)
