      7:15 Wrong, The V6s had a power bump in 13, the 13-14 V6 is the most powerful V6 in a Mustang from factory. It was downgraded in 2015 to make the EcoBoost seem more palatable.

      As someone born in 1969, I’d have to say the S197 fits the bill. Old school styling, decent HP and looks that could kill make it truly an “It what is was” production!

      I always laugh when people say the S197 didnt have enough power, because what was it competing with?

      S197 absolutely. I'm an old man and a Bullitt fan. Great car and it was a crime they got rid of those retro gauges, then again, it's always constant change. But it's major nostalgia for me.

    Absolutely love the S197 and always wanted one. Finally got my hands on a very good condition 2008 V6 and I can’t be happier. ❤

    I think the Boss 302’s of that gen came with 444HP. The regular 5.0’s had 420 i think. May be wrong

      Yes, you are correct, thanks for pointing this out. Still a little bump in hp from the 2011-12s but definitely not as significant.

      Roadrunner 5.0, forged internals, different intake. Red key option for timing, fuel ratio.

    I presently have a 2005 Mustang GT. But I gotta say 2012 2013 Boss Mustang love those cars.

      I was lucky to find a lo mile 13 Boss, in 17. Love it, and keeping it. Car has really grown on me.

    I still enjoy my 2011 GT. After 2014, Ford went with the euro look again that everyone was so tired of before 2005. The new mustangs don't even look American anymore.

    Love the 5th gen , they look like a mustang unfortunately as nice as the new ones look they just look like a race car not a muscle car

    didnt 3.7L Cyclone V6 come in the 2010?

    • @AntsCarReviews
      @AntsCarReviews  Рік тому

      no, 2010 mustangs still had the old drivetrains for the gt and v6 models...the drivetrains did not technically change to the 5.0 and 3.7 until the 2011 model year

    Don't discount the 4.6 its an amazing motor. Its easy to work on sounds fantastic. The transmission in the 4.6 manual tr3650 is great. The manual in the 2011+ is pretty crappy mt82. Made in china and known to break under warranty.
    The 5.0 is a good motor with the automatic transmission. But I will take my supercharged 4.6 over a 5.0. Sounds way better and people don't expect you to be fast.
    If I had the money I would get a gt500 absolutely fantastic mustang. But for the price they are going for Im not willing to spend that much and then have to modify the suspension and make it the way I want it.
