I swear the reason the DRG community is so nice is because of the V key, how many games can you think of that have a dedicated button for expressing positivity?
Quick tip: if you are hosting a deep dive, keep in mind that people can't join once it's started. So the people you start with are the people you finish with if they don't leave, no more. Also, the missions for each dive get posted every week once they're out on reddit and discord so you can plan accordingly.
Remember all content from previous seasons goes into normal loot pools. So if you started now you've got at least three or four years of content sitting in chests to find.

Picked it up a few years ago but only started playing recently as I heard the community was nice. I can attest to that, in a few games I saw: many veterans just casually reviving me after the nth time without complaining, or taking the time to explain some objectives, or doing most of the hard work as I get distracted by something in game or them going back half a map to revive another teammate so we could all leave together just shows how much the people here are.
I only discovered it a few months ago and its been the greatest thing thats ever happened in my life, not even the birth of my firstborn son will come close to discovering deep rock galactic
Eyy, nice to have you aboard, greenbeard! It's so great to new DRG videos recommended to me on UA-cam. I have nearly 2k hours into Deep Rock Galactic and it is still so much fun! Best of luck on your future deep dives. The Elite Deep Dive is really tough, but I know you can do it with time! May Karl bless you with your to-be-favorite overclocks! Finding the right overclock can help you get that boost in power. ROCK AND STONE!
I got DRG when it launched out of EA in 2020. I really wanted to try it before then but had a lot on my plate at the time. I can say it is without a doubt one of the absolute gems, easily in my top 10 favorite games of all time. I've put nearly 300 hours into it. The community are a bunch of hilarious memesters and when you get sick of all your involved narrative driven games and competitive games it's nice to sit back with a drink in hand and mine some minerals with the homies. It's the kind of game you can put down and pick back up again then spend all weekend doing missions back to back and going on Deep Dives. Ghost Ship is one of my favorite developers just because of how serious they take "Made by gamers, for gamers." DRG is just FUN. There's no predatory monetization behavior. There's no FOMO. No grinding. It's all about being in the moment. Just a bunch of dwarves creating chaos and spamming "WE'RE RICH" Rich indeed Miners. Rich indeed.
Great video, definitely notice the effort in the editing. What made me fall in love --like head over heels-- with DRG? After my friend helped me complete those tutorial assignments I was feeling it, but then a few days later I wanted to play and he wasn't on. I decided to try hosting the lobby, thinking to myself "oh I'll probably be hanging out with Bosco for the next few matches." Nope. Hazard 3, filled instantly. We played out my assignments and bid eachother farewell. Next day, same thing. And the day after. I could do all my assignments, and since player assignments can overlap I always had these random dwarves joining in and helping me finish. Truly an amazing cooperative experience.
ROCK AND STONE BROTHER!! I must say that you captured the game quite well in this video. Most people who make videos telling their viewers to buy DRG usually already have hundreds of hours of mining on Hoxxes, but you didn't when you made the video and you already told your viewers to go buy DRG. And I'm happy you did, this tells me that, not only do you enjoy the game a lot, but you are on your way to become a full blown graybeard in no time my dude. I'd be up for that Deep Dive if you need someone to fill out the team. Rock and Stone my friend, Rock and Stone.
Some of the POGGIEST things in DRG (not in a specific order): - "Special Powder" on Scout's shotty - 5 "FAT BOY" nuke launcher on Engineer - "Roller Coaster Tycoon Simulator" - Modded content (Like 8 (or more) person Elite Deep Dive or "Oops! All Bulks!" pub) - "ROCK AND STONE!"
A very important note about the season pass. Anything you don't unlock before the next season is just moved into other loot pools in the game. For example, this season, on the pass at tier 97, has a blue hair colour. If you don't get that, before the next season, _you can still end up finding it elsewhere._ you aren't missing out on any cosmetics in the long run if you don't complete the season stuff The difficulty of deep dives increases per stage. The regular one is 3>3.5>4, and the elite is 4.5>5>5.5. The rewards are a blank core, an overclock core, and a cosmetic core given per stage in that order (stage 1 gives the blank, etc) Good luck on your next deep dive attempt, go make Karl proud. Rock and Stone to the bone!
You can save scum promotions to get specific overclocks. I did it for special powder, zooming around the caves at 100 mph now. Also haz 4 is easy you just need a good gunner/engi with an aoe loadout for the million grunts and a sniper scout to kill the specialty mobs. Cryo nade and 5 m1000 shots kill a prea in 2 seconds but pheros can make an entire flank not your problem for 15 seconds
It would take me way too long to list all of the positive aspects of DRG so I’ll just say this: to anyone who’s on the fence, it’s a hidden gem and one that you should experience 👍
Highly recommend trying out each of the classes and promoting them all at least once. I also started out as an engineer main, and still am, but it's easier to be helpful to the team knowinf what each classes goals are. Another side note, iron will is a great peek. Hope you keep enjoying the game!
We started playing DRG at the same time, even somehow have the same favorite class, and I knew from the first three missions I played that it was gonna be good. I used it to correct an abysmal sleep schedule I had going on the first night I installed it. I had woken up at 4pm and started the game up around 9-10pm. Played it until 6pm the next day. The last game I found to be good enough to play for 20 hours straight was Risk of Rain 2. This is a gem, a once in a generation classic.
Incredible video Zane!!! Rock and Stone Forever!!! Love this game! I am definitely going to dive back into this game after watching this video, it has been awhile since I have played it.
1:17 no its just they don’t spend all the money on advertising and instead on actually making the game good relying on word of mouth and a few trailers that they did put out to get the word out
Best co-op game for sure. It's funny how your team can wipe within two minutes of landing when you play on hazard level 3-5, if you happen to aggro a hole big caveful. And to all of you who don't want to kill loot bugs: Once you leave those caves empty of minerals, they will slowly starve to death. So killing them quickly is a good option. Rock and stone!
youtube just recommended me. Welcome to my favorite game!!! Don't do elite deep dive till you are comfortable on 4s. Unless you want hilarity, cause its funny af even if you are mowing them down. I have 44 days in mission time. 1056 hours. I have max promotions on 1, with 2 others coming very soon. It is just so damn addicting. I'm on all the time man. Set your server name in your options to be something custom, maybe mention your channel. Then, to be anonymous, just change it to something else. Dont be afraid to join haz 3 servers. Most groups in 3s end up with someone experienced who could carry it all if they had to. So you are gonna make it. And what if you dont? Play the game more. Its basic math. I'll help you through a deep dive man. Assuming I find you. That crap is fun. Rock and stone, brother!
My brother and I just started playing this game only yesterday since DRG is on sale for like 10 bucks, and I gotta say DRG is one of the only games I would be completely fine with paying full price for, so much content, and so much fun! and has one of the best communities I have ever seen, I'm kinda mad at myself for not trying this game sooner, super excited to get more addicted to this game man. ROCK AND STONE!!!!
I never thought a game would make me feel like this, but Deep Rock Galactic is such an amazing game that makes me feel dirty for getting it at a discount instead of buying it at full price.
I’m 43. Legit couldn’t remember the last time I turned on game and felt like a little kid. First time out of the drop pod, I look around and just smile IRL. Then bugs hit me. This game is truly special.
You need to get into it. I’ve been playing five years. 2000+ hours. I’ve been ganked two times. It’s perfectly structured to encourage cooperation. And there are thousands like me who routinely drop into new player games just to show the ropes. You won’t need to run voice. Almost no one does. It’s not needed. You’ll see.
Rock and Stone brother, welcome to the mines ! I have like 700h now in this game and nothing to unlock anymore besides when new season swings around but i still play it almost daily anyways cause its just a fun game ! (If you ever get bored of the game i would suggest checking out the mods for this game, they can really refresh the feeling. There are a lot that are just cosmetic/client side but that are QoL as well as approved mods that alter the gameplay but are still allowed to progress on a regular save ! And then Sandbox mods that require a seperate save but can be really crazy things and alter the gameplay and progression a lot)
🤯 I didn't even know there was a mod community. I am finding that the beers unlock some random stuff as well, which is cool. Knowing there are mods though, oh boy.
I remember when they announced the official mod support and my first 3 were quite the spread. Some QoL for Gunner's Zipline, an option to make every light source a customizable RGB, and replacing collectable objects with Mario themed items.
This is the first DRG video I've come across. You've convinced me to buy it, and it's on sale right now on Steam for $9.89 USD, until August 17th. Also, I subbed to you, I dig your style.
Deep Dive - you get awarded a core after each mission - blank core, overclock, and cosmetic I think you also unlock Elite Deep Dive after completing your first Deep Dive. Another thing worth noting is the difficulty - Regular Deep Dive: Starts at Hazard 3 for mission one and gets a little bit harder each mission, but doesn't quite reach hazard 4 - There will be 2 warning total across the three missions. Elite Deep Dive: Starts at slightly above Hazard 4 and progresses to slightly _above_ hazard 5 - there will be 2 or 3 warnings total across the 3 missions. BTW after selecting the Deep Dive you can press escape and see the mission parameters. On the escape screen you can also check your loadout and perks at any time (even mid mission) by clicking the ammo icon in the lower right. I use this alot when I forget what perks I have equipped or what weapon mods.
I would highly recommend checking out the many qol mods available for the game. A couple that I believe should be in the base game are weapon heat crosshair and platform placement preview. Any mod that is in the verified category can be used at all times and are client side only, theres a ton of great mods out there.
Hard agree, like buffs for Doretta to give her turrets, extra health and two deposit chutes. Plus some really fun ones if you wanna get chaotic. Like Karl Class which lets you pick any weapons or tool from any class. So a gunner with zipline and flamethrower.
Would like to remind everyone that DRG has not won the Labor of Love award, but Cyberpunk did. Remember not in anger, fellow dwarves, but for victory in the future.
"I don't know how many hours I'm gonna get out of drg" DRG is the ONLY time-sink game I've played that I don't regret... all 850hrs of it. ROCK AND STONE, BROTHERS
elite deep dive is like haz 5,5 ( i think that was confirmed by devs) . its reeeeeeeeeeealy hard i have 510 hours in the game and its still hard lol . dont be afraid to do deep dives (and elite) for each mision (out of the 3) you get a core so even if you fail you get stuff also some overclocks go really crazy . for example : as engineer you can get for your grenade launcher overclock that makes it lyterali portable nuke launcher . or theres one that makes it sniper rifle with HUGE weakpoint dmg overclocks really unlock the build making , some weapon perks you wouldnt normali even look at make sense with some overclocks
7:50 please tell me they know they have to claim the season event bonus scrips above the season challenges by clicking on them after they get 6 plaguehearts... Oh lord if they miss out on those scrips for cosmetics I'll be so sad.
Anyone who reads this: BUY THIS GAME! the community is the best community in all of gaming, it's the best coop game ever made, and it's fun af. Easily my fav game. The only thing we ask of you is to PLAY YOUR ROLE: you will get much better much faster and help the team if you know what yiure supposed to do. For example, if youre scout, dont focus on swarms of enemies. Instead you need to take out threats like spitballers and acid spitters. You also need to focus on nitra. If you're an engineer, dont go pick axing for resources in a room until you scan it to platform for your scout and put down your turrets. Once your a greybeard these rules can be broken of course but the trick of the game is efficiency. These are good habits to get into hazard 4 and below. Lastly, pay respect to Karl.
You forgot to mention the music. The music is bangin'! Fighting off a massive swarm while listening to those tasty jams never gets old to me. Rock and Roll and Stone!!
Definite agree on that from me. I even bought the 2xLP vinyl set! But if you want a bit of a laugh, you could also mod with either Doom or Starship Troopers soundtracks
@@CalebMcGrath hell yeah! I heard there's even someone who made a bunch of drg inspired music and added it into the game, I think the mods name is... kse - khino's soundtrack expansion? (completely unrelated ;) )
Why does everyone think of the Engineer as Torb isn't he closer to Engie from tf2 I mean you have to manually refill the turrets with ammo just like Engie does? Torbs turret never needs ammo refills.
Beat my first deep dive pretty easily after I learnt how it works and failing on the first stage for the first time. Was with a buddy of mine and we played as scoot and engi. But yeah man. Stuff is hard. I tried an elite but got absolutely smashed on the second stage. Was quite hard tbh.
I noticed you only had one weapon for each slot for the engi. Wait till you see the other 4! (that goes for the other classes but engi all the way). Another thing looking is thosw plaguehearts you collected you have extra scrip if u click on the red in the little dna strand. Unless they are collected then mb ;-;
I was so consumed with getting to 25 so I could experience a deep dive before putting the video out that the other weapons went on the back burner. Gonna rock them out sometime in the next week.
Ah my favorite horde shooter. The game where the lobby is more entertaining than some AAA titles. And yes, Bosco is awesome. Even salutes you when you rock and stone. Best AI companion ever made
4:02 i was gonna be angry ( jokingly )at this because you didn’t say engineer from team fortress 2 but then after thinking about it, Torbjörn is a more accurate description with being unable to upgrade buildings and only having the turret
Cool video! I have around 500 hours and it was interesting to see a newbies POV. I dont think thefirst 10 missions are a tutorial tho. And you didn't collect scrips in the BP(season event bonus part)
And some of those negative ratings are people not cutting the developers some slack because they didn’t release another massive update after like 3 massive updates
2:58 usually I use the Zipline to be in the air and not take much damage and provide supporting fire for missions like point extraction and refining missions
Love this video and thank you for this. I have 51 days and 12 hours into this phenomenal game and there is somethings I want to tell you ⛏We fight for rock and stone!🗣 References aside … Deep dives have hazards For a normal deep dive stage one and stage two are hazard three and the final stage is hazard four So the best way to practice for deep dives is to get comfortable with hazard 3 missions in regular missions Elite deep dives are a different difficulty Stage one is hazard four stage two is hazard five and stage 3 is hazard 5.5 because I guess hazard 5 wasn’t enough they had to have their own difficulty to make it even more challenging XD Missions also scale in difficulty by number of players as well, so soloing a deep dive isn’t as hard as it sounds I got 20 deep dive under my belt and just started getting good enough to knock out some elites by myself Another thing I wanted to mention is that deep rock galactic is cross play but only between Xbox and the windows version of the game, my buddy likes playing on computer. Also me and my buddy play scout and engineer, but I’m proficient with all the classes. It’s so fantastic to see more and more people get their hands on this game it’s amazing Oh and one final thing stuff from previous seasons are either thrown in the lost equipment/helmets, cargo crates in missions, cosmetic cores, or sold straight from the shop. Nothing is gone forever, pretty neat for a 100% free battle pass 🪨 Anyways good luck in the mines and rock and stone brotha! 🗣
I see that I'm 2 weeks behind this video, (I love watching people talking about how much they love this game) so I'm not sure if anyone's told you this or if you figured it out on your own. Here's a handful of tidbits about Deep Dives. 1) Deep Dives are the same every time you go down, and only change to a new Deep Dive once a week (Thursdays). 2) It's ALWAYS recommended you take on Deep Dives in a 4 player group. Bring your friends into the lobby, sure. But you need to fill the rest of those seats as well unless you know what you're doing. 3) What may not be obvious with Deep Dives is that the difficulty ramps up as you go deeper. The basic Deep Dive starts out at Hazard 3. Complete the mission, and the difficulty jumps to 3.5 Hazard. The last mission... I think it's 4? It might still be 3.5 though. *ELITE* Deep Dives are a whole 'nother beast though. It starts out at Hazard 4.5, next mission is Hazard 5, then finally the 3rd mission caps out at Hazard *5.5*, which means you ABSOLUTELY have to bring your A-game on an EDD. That or have an absolute blast at flopping through the mission like a fish dropped in the desert.
Nice video, I was interested in this when it released but dismissed it as multi-player only. Clearly that is where it shines but do you think it is still worth it for solo play ?
I would say it is worth to a point. Eventually the game moves you towards playing with people, especially for deep dives. So, you will eventually hit a wall. But I have seen people play the deep dives solo even so maybe it is possible.
honestly, if people really want to play solo indefinitely, it's easily possible, you should check out videos of people completing elite deep dives WITHOUT BOSCO.
It’s definitely still worth playing solo. With bosco fully upgraded you get 4 revives. You can complete the missions at your own pace (no time limits until you have to escape to drop pod). Also, if you do start to play with others, you can still play on your own terms. Creating your own public lobby gives you the fireteam lead with the ability to boot others at your discretion. You get to show off your rank and experience. Having more people can help you complete missions faster. Teamwork is essential to succeed so people are less likely to grief. If they do, they get the boot.
Most probably I will pick this up in the Winter sale, I very rarely stay long with a game so if I can get 20-50 hours out of it solo that will do me and it seems possible with this.
Deep Dives aren't the only way to get Matrix Cores required for overclocks! I highly recommend playing at least once a week, and doing the "Weekly Core Hunt" assignment. Grants you a blank, weapon, and cosmetic core similar to how the Deep Dive does.
The game is so good that I felt guilty after buying it on sale. To feel a little bit better, I bought every DLC at full price. I‘m now 600 hours in btw. Rock and Stone!
I was in a similar situation. I never heard of drg but I saw some people on my friend's list playing it a lot. Then one day they gifted the game to me and I got into it. A side note. It's probably a side effect of playing Final Fantasy all my life but whenever I see DRG my brain is wired to assume they mean Dragoon.
DRG is like being on a hard drugs. You can kind of just forget all the horrors of reality, and go mining on another planet as a dwarf who drinks lots of beer and makes Mission Control mad all the time.
I’ve been playing for about 3 months now and i finally convinced my friends to get this game so now I have a squad to play with and the games more fun than ever
Deep dive gets you the overclocks 1 blank 1 weapon and 1 cosmetic. Unlocked as you complete the mission and decend deeper. Since you lost on floor 3 you already got 1 blank core and 1 weapon. Weekly core hunt is another 3 cores but is an assignment mission so its really easy. Elite deep dive is really hard starts on 4.5 and goes to 5.5 hazard. Some people say its easy but to me and I think others its pretty challenging with little overclocks and a random party. I had only 2 instances of people being mean within my 80 hours I've put in since buying it July 3rd. 1 was for double dipping on a resupply in a edd. Although there was another resupply right next to it so I don't see the issue. I let him have mine for the 2nd one. The other was intentional team killing from the host and a driller in a elimation mission. They killed me and the scout twice when we went to revive eachother and left us for dead at the end of the mission once they killed us. Besides those 2 rotten eggs the community is awesome and really nice to new players.
My first and only multiplayer experience had the host abandon the mission in protest to another greenbeard calling the shuttle before we did the machine event on the map.
another thing about the battlepass is every cosmetic missed from past seasons are still earnable threw lost helms, cargo crates, cosmetic overclocks and other cosmetic earning things
@@MoreRespawn yep look at the season 4 trailer mc (mission control) says. "as always any thing missed in previous seasons will simply go into the existing loot pools so nothing is going away forever" word for word
yup 430+ hours and still going. played this when it was in early access. i have two roommates, 1 has 415 hours i think and one has 300+. we still play this game so regularly. this game hands down has the best community ive ever encountered. everyone is nice, hes not joking. also deep dives refresh every week as well...and you get two assignments to complete every week for resources and blank cores for overclocks. to say this game is addictive is an understatement. the enjoyment doesn't stop.
I got this game on sale, during s2. Instantly I bought 3 copies more for my 3 friends and we had blast for 50 hours. No questions asked. Everyone loved it. Everything you get in base game. DLC are cosmetic only if you feel like supporting developers. It's insane in the world of triple A microtransaction bs!
Me on my way to watch another video telling me to play the game i have 410 hours in:
Samee
460 going strong
1,500 going strong.
240 going strong
1,300 going strong

Remember all content from previous seasons goes into normal loot pools. So if you started now you've got at least three or four years of content sitting in chests to find.
I wish other games did this tbh, so many games lock cosmetics, and sometimes even weapons, behind paywalls or season-based progression systems.
These devs deserve all.
And if you miss the summer/easter/Christmas/more events of previous years, you unlock them if you log in the next year.
That’s awesome
I only just started playing last night

Dude got supercooling chamber as his first overclock. He doesn’t know how lucky he is
lol yeah 😢
Fat boy was one of my first.
@@kaden-sd6vb man that’s lucky
@@sharpendblade2854ye, I had pretty good luck with my overclocks. Burning hell was another good one among my first few
I heard it's shite OC
Incredible video Zane!!! Rock and Stone Forever!!! Love this game! I am definitely going to dive back into this game after watching this video, it has been awhile since I have played it.
Let's go lad, Did play a few hours of this game and had a great time with it. Need to get back to it at some point
The more I have played it, the better it has become. Love it!
16:55 "there hasn't been any griefing"
This guy hasn't played with enough drillers.
And to all of you who don't want to kill loot bugs:
Once you leave those caves empty of minerals, they will slowly starve to death.
Me: oh boy cant wait to do my first deep dive!
my first drop: the droppod lands on a nemesis
I've thought so many times about getting into this but never have. Might have too now
It is VERY good.
Rock and Stone !
almost 2000 hours under my belt, and I still love watching reviews for the game lol.
Congrats on your Deep Dive success btw.
This is the first DRG video I've come across. You've convinced me to buy it, and it's on sale right now on Steam for $9.89 USD, until August 17th.
Also, I subbed to you, I dig your style.
Deep Dive - you get awarded a core after each mission - blank core, overclock, and cosmetic
I think you also unlock Elite Deep Dive after completing your first Deep Dive.
"I don't know how many hours I'm gonna get out of drg"
DRG is the ONLY time-sink game I've played that I don't regret... all 850hrs of it. ROCK AND STONE, BROTHERS
elite deep dive is like haz 5,5 ( i think that was confirmed by devs) . its reeeeeeeeeeealy hard i have 510 hours in the game and its still hard lol . dont be afraid to do deep dives (and elite) for each mision (out of the 3) you get a core so even if you fail you get stuff
also some overclocks go really crazy . for example : as engineer you can get for your grenade launcher overclock that makes it lyterali portable nuke launcher . or theres one that makes it sniper rifle with HUGE weakpoint dmg
overclocks really unlock the build making , some weapon perks you wouldnt normali even look at make sense with some overclocks
7:50 please tell me they know they have to claim the season event bonus scrips above the season challenges by clicking on them after they get 6 plaguehearts... Oh lord if they miss out on those scrips for cosmetics I'll be so sad.
Holy cow, I did not. Thank you for this. They have been redeemed.
@@MoreRespawn No problem, I was so worried you'd miss out. XD
I am so glad you enjoy this game! I have about 400 hours in this game and absolutely love it. Rock and stone brother ⛏️
We live in a society where engineer drg gets compared to torbjorn overwatch and not engineer tf2
My man, the entire world does not stay at 5 in the morning along with america
13:01 dont let management hear you saying that sappy shit. Rock and stone, brother.
Today I have:
Played the Deep Rock Galactic board game.
Played Deep Rock on steam.
Watched this video about Deep Rock.
I hope Karl would be proud.
So sad that kids these days now say "it's just like torb from overwatch!" instead of "it's just like the engineer from tf2!"
I wish I was a kid lol Strangely enough I have just never played TF2.
Why does everyone think of the Engineer as Torb isn't he closer to Engie from tf2 I mean you have to manually refill the turrets with ammo just like Engie does? Torbs turret never needs ammo refills.
Been playing it with the VR mod which is mind-blogging AMAZING! It's free and if you have an HMD is a must-play imo.
ROCK AND STONE BROTHERS!
Ok a VR of this sounds great, definitely getting this mod.
Fun fact stuff in the season tree will end up as normal drops after the season closes.
I noticed you only had one weapon for each slot for the engi. Wait till you see the other 4! (that goes for the other classes but engi all the way). Another thing looking is thosw plaguehearts you collected you have extra scrip if u click on the red in the little dna strand. Unless they are collected then mb ;-;
I was so consumed with getting to 25 so I could experience a deep dive before putting the video out that the other weapons went on the back burner. Gonna rock them out sometime in the next week.
Engi the only class that feels like it has six main weapons
Sweet as intro into techno montage.
ROCK AND STONE!!
Ah my favorite horde shooter. The game where the lobby is more entertaining than some AAA titles. And yes, Bosco is awesome. Even salutes you when you rock and stone. Best AI companion ever made
Everybody should buy this game, it's a breath of fresh air compared to what the current state of gaming industry is.
Agree, the very first mission plus the random tips in the waiting room are tutorials, not the first set of missions
And some of those negative ratings are people not cutting the developers some slack because they didn’t release another massive update after like 3 massive updates
There is some magic in feeling like a real professional on real team of professionals getting shit done.
2:58 usually I use the Zipline to be in the air and not take much damage and provide supporting fire for missions like point extraction and refining missions
Love this video and thank you for this.
I have 51 days and 12 hours into this phenomenal game and there is somethings I want to tell you
⛏We fight for rock and stone!🗣
References aside …
Deep dives have hazards
For a normal deep dive stage one and stage two are hazard three and the final stage is hazard four
So the best way to practice for deep dives is to get comfortable with hazard 3 missions in regular missions
Elite deep dives are a different difficulty
Stage one is hazard four stage two is hazard five and stage 3 is hazard 5.5 because I guess hazard 5 wasn’t enough they had to have their own difficulty to make it even more challenging XD
Missions also scale in difficulty by number of players as well, so soloing a deep dive isn’t as hard as it sounds I got 20 deep dive under my belt and just started getting good enough to knock out some elites by myself
Another thing I wanted to mention is that deep rock galactic is cross play but only between Xbox and the windows version of the game, my buddy likes playing on computer.
Also me and my buddy play scout and engineer, but I’m proficient with all the classes.
It’s so fantastic to see more and more people get their hands on this game it’s amazing
Oh and one final thing stuff from previous seasons are either thrown in the lost equipment/helmets, cargo crates in missions, cosmetic cores, or sold straight from the shop. Nothing is gone forever, pretty neat for a 100% free battle pass
🪨 Anyways good luck in the mines and rock and stone brotha!
If you don’t Rock and Stone, you ain’t coming home!
"From Overwatch"
*Angry Texan noises*
The obligatory "we're rich" ping-bang lol
ROCK AND STONE! FOR KARL
Welcome to board greenbeard! Rock and Stone!
You forgot to mention the dedicated salute button.
Rock n stone brother
Rock and Stone!
The game is so good that I felt guilty after buying it on sale. To feel a little bit better, I bought every DLC at full price. I‘m now 600 hours in btw. Rock and Stone!
Welcome aboard greenbeard! Rock and stone!
3:25 "Scout has a flare gun"
Shows footage of cheese gun.
Ahh yes, Engineer, the most Scoutiest of Scouts.
It was to show the flare on the wall lighting the entire cave so I could even see where to shoot the cheese gun.
I enjoy your honest style of game reviews, I hope more will be created.
Elite Deep Dive is hazard 4.5, 5, 5.5 difficulty missions. Id auggest you fully unlock your ideal survival build for the long haul. Ammo gets tight.
Crazy? I was crazy once. They put me in a cave. A dark cave. A dark cave with alien bugs. And bugs make me crazy.
DRG is like being on a hard drugs. You can kind of just forget all the horrors of reality, and go mining on another planet as a dwarf who drinks lots of beer and makes Mission Control mad all the time.
“If you Rock and Stone you’re never alone.” After close to 800 hours in DRG I can say it certainly is worth paying full price plus dlc expenses.
I have like 500 hours in the game and I still havent even leveled my driller. Not that I dont want to play driller I just love my scout and engineer
Thanks for the info! Also, 2 bad eggs in 80 hours, that is pretty awesome! Still haven't hit any and hope it stays that way.
Also now we get promotion cores so rock and stone to that!
Wait a second - really?!
@@MoreRespawn yep look at the season 4 trailer mc (mission control) says. "as always any thing missed in previous seasons will simply go into the existing loot pools so nothing is going away forever" word for word
I have experienced the same thing, currently one month in and have accumulated over 100 hours.' Rock and Stone
yup 430+ hours and still going. played this when it was in early access. i have two roommates, 1 has 415 hours i think and one has 300+. we still play this game so regularly. this game hands down has the best community ive ever encountered. everyone is nice, hes not joking.
also deep dives refresh every week as well...and you get two assignments to complete every week for resources and blank cores for overclocks. to say this game is addictive is an understatement. the enjoyment doesn't stop.
Engineer is Engihere!
Also if you want to be griefed. Play scout and dont help in doing secondary mission. Watch the driller execute with his c4 on sight at the end
We're rich! Mushroom! Rock and Stone!
Welcome to Space Rig 17, Miner. Grey Beard here. Rock and Stone.
I think of TF2, with the engineer
All the homies love Bosco.
Favorite voiceline has to be just "BOSCO!!!"
Fun fact: He salutes back if you Rock and Stone at him!
U are spot on by saying “it’s a mix of left 4 dead and minecraft” can’t stress how right u are on that! Rock N Stone to the Heart!!!
