I like the tip of renting a U-Haul over a traditional rental car (Hertz). Genius! @LSA_Ray I was going to ask the same question, hotel to did you totally get away from the truck or stay in the truck?
Yea man you’ll save so much more now obviously if your traveling long distances it’s a no go but just around the city for the day your good! We love the truck man we don’t want to spend half a check just to sleep in a room for a few hours. Now if it we’re home time(6 days off) then maybe depending on the location.
I appreciate that it definitely helps a lot and Schneider does have local delivery but it depends on your location if you google Schneider jobs they have a website and all you have to do is type in your zip code and see what pops up. It took 3 weeks for me to get into my first truck after training if your experienced then it just 4-5 days
@@Truckinwitray it depends on the hotel and you would have to login to this discount portal to check I never login to it but I need to because we get like 20% off AT&T bills.
Idk you gotta do it right enjoy your time on the road use that time to learn new thing and see new places I stay in different cities on my 34 hour reset and I’m learning Spanish while I drive.

Been binge watching all your videos and thought to ask, Does Schneider do local delivery? and how long was your entire process to get on the job?

If y’all were to get a hotel would u have to pay for it all
No they don’t but we do get discounts. We like staying in the truck tho it’s like our home.
