Put them on my 2020 street glide today ( Torquer 450 slip-ons) trust and believe from a person that is hard to please... they are the TRUTH. Nice DEEP sound. Your speakers on your phone and computer don't do them justice and the look is on the money...perfect fit with stretch bags and fender. SAY WHAT YOU WANT .....I'm very happy with this Muffler !!
Hi are these fitted to the stock Header etc and did you fit a fuel pack or just the slipons, I have the 2020 SGS and am looking at a slip on muffler
I got them on my 2020 Road King Special with a stage 1. I get compliments all the time with the sound quality, a good deep note that sounds great in all gears. Ps it doesnt drone on the highway! Highly recommend
Installed these on my '23 Limited 2 weeks ago. Absolutely correct. The videos don't do these mufflers justice. Nice, deep rumble. Not annoyingly loud either.

Once you added the headers (power duals) does it sound amazing? Just slip-ons will "never" give you the true Harley sound. Thanks!

I think the best muffler for the m8 for power and sound is the s&s. Grand national 4 inch muffler.

Any performance differences between touquer and the backslash being they both run LS275 baffles???
Still quite, I have full exhaust on my 18 SG with a stage 3 and it's still not as loud as a 2 valve engine

I love them on my RG 2020 … what is the best header for those slipons? Dresser duals? I like their look more than power duals. What do you suggest?
I paired Bassani headers with these for the Stage 2 on my FLHR. The beast definitely woke up. I was all about the Power duals but for the quality and price, I went Bassani - I used the factory chrome heat shields and it fit the sleeper look I was going for.
I have these on my 22 FLHRXS. Only 300 miles on them so far. I measured them at 104 decibels. I think they need to be louder. The fiberglass packing will burn off eventually. I’ll check the sound again at 1k miles.
Was the 104db at idle or around 2500 RPM?
I agree. I put these on as part of the Stage 2 on my 22 FLHR and they sound REALLY nice (and deep), but they don't have that hard Harley sound. I haven't found any info on replacing the baffles to make them louder, but I just might try getting some Zombies in there for giggles. Any update on the sound?

are they any good with headers and a stage 2 cam? They said with the wide flowing baffles, there will be an issue tuning them with cam!

It sounds somewhat better.... but not good enough to switch out of a 2016 twin cam, with stage IV Kit, cam, race tuner, true duals from the heads out. Put the two side by side and the difference is still night and day, and I like V&H better than any exhaust out there. That M8 just doesn’t do it for me. Something has to change... bring back the twin cam.
De Ba I agree with your line of thinking I had a 2010 road glide custom with a 107 build and I love that bike but these new Milwaukee eights you have to rethink I just bought or traded my road glide custom for a road glide S I’m waiting for the go fast parts to come in at 63 I’m just looking for a bump the head unit sounds great I’m doing a torque cam Vance and Hines power duals the way that thing runs through the twistyIt’s amazing it’s worth it just for that.Just changing with the times brother ride safe

Hi, I just got my Vance & Hines torquer 450's for my 2022 Road Glide CVO, but it appears the headers are to small for the mufflers (the originals had a metal mesh gasket inside, impossible to take out without damaging): weird thing is that I cannot find anything in the documentation/description of V&H and neither did I find anything in UA-cam. Do you know why that is and what is the best way to make the mufflers fit? Thanks
Torquer 450 sound great, are they catalic free, will they fit on my screaming eagle exhaust. I have screaming eagle hi low headers with street cannons. Can I put torquer 450 on my screaming eagle headers.Thanks
With the 2021 Harley Davidson tourers having no tuners available, with these 450 and a big air throughput, without tuning will performance or popping be effected say when at 60 MPH? Previously I ran my Road king on eliminators 400 but had stage 1 tune. Just fancy a bit more road presence of noise hence the reason for a possible change to the Torquer style. Has anyone any thoughts on what is best to do?
You must live in Commiefornia. Dealership says, slip-ons will not void warranty, and with the 10% give and take in the fuel/air adjustment with OEM ecm, your good to go. No high flow air cleaner. Owner of a commiefornia 2021 roadglide.
WHAT HEADERS WORK BEST WITH 450 MUFFLERS
I installed it on my 2021 street glide special post this video.. To be frank it is not to my satisfaction.. I came from sportster 1200T which I installed the V&H slip ons and the sound I had on it is almost double the sound of the tourqer 450 in my street glide.. I am thinking of installing the dual dresser headers to intensify the sound as it is not appealing to me now..! Lots of more money to be paid 🥴
PS: you should have the video done outside I believe the eco in the room amplified the sound against what actually it is..!

Dammit... why did they wait so long for these? I got the Titan 450s awhile back.
Yeah my Titan 450s sound great with the power duals (stage 3). The SE8-498 power cam gives it a mild lope, but I really love the sound the S&S 475 makes. Be interested to hear these new mufflers with the power duals and how much more pwr/tq they provide.

whats it sound like with the v&h cross over headers
I have the power duals with bone shaker mufflers and it's loud when the engine is cold, once it warms up its not that loud
Low deep tuned rumble. I love the combo on my King Special with V&H Fuelpak3.

what the different between the HI Output vs Torquer 450? There should be a different when V&H design them...
450s are more straight through, but hi outputs sound better imo and are more torquier. Is that a word? Maybe a misspelled word lol

I put a FP3 on mine, if I could do it again I would have done the Thundermax tuner system.
Do these Slip ons require a tune?
No
Large baffles produce a nice deep sound but on the M8 engine I'd be surprised if they didn't cause a drop in low-end torque. The M8 is more sensitive to baffle size than the Twin Cam engine.
Since these are behind the cat its effect on low end should be a non-issue.
@@jpcycles Valid point about the cat but noted Harley tuners such as FuelMoto are seeing negative effects from large baffles even when using the stock head pipe on the M8's. Oh well, you pays your money and you makes your choice.
@@kingkrimson8771 Jamie from FM is a friend of mine and a smart guy. But we're splitting hairs here. If you try 5 (well known Manufactures) different sets of mufflers on a M8 with a stock motor an stock head pipe your going to notice very little in horsepower difference. The choice comes down to athstetics and sound.

If its just mufflers and no headers you should be fine. Its a nice low tone.

It is noticeable that louder than stock pipes. You get more.of that rumble and vibration. I prefer this cruise control and as im.able to hear the bike at 70+ mph

How does that affect the warranty since Harley is denying claims like crazy?
That would be up to your dealer to decide how anything you add to your motorcycle effects your warranty.

not "required" but recommended. FP3 would be the best option
I would do a Thundermax tuner system vs the FP3.

Have to say I agree.. Just added the 450's with a Fuel Pack 3... what a HUGE difference from stock sound!

I spent a long time looking and listening I have them im happy but not one video tells youth you will need to get muffler gaskets .....just saying as im a novice
Still sounds like crap, unfortunately. Anything with the stock headpipe except maybe Tab bam sticks will sound pretty crappy on m8.
