@@fishlessfisherman1539 yeah, as small as they are, those red eyes put up a good fight. There were a lot of smallmouth in that first hole, but nothing would hit after I lost that one. Thanks for watching in the comment.
You sure are giving me the fishing fever, I gotta hurry up and finish this yard work so I can go. On second thought maybe I’ll go fishing and do yard work tomorrow 😂😂
@@billreddochoutdoors5968 That sounds like an excellent Idea. Hey, I wanted to tell you took your advice. I went to the Pond today at lunchtime with no camera. It was awesome. Just a fish.
I agree. Seeing the fish leads to early hooksets 😅!! Yellow leaves have already started to float on the water. I hate it when there are too many as they all end up on the lure, lol! Nice rock bass and smallie! That's a nice creek. It's incredible how the water is crystal clear! Cool seeing those deer!
@@HenriVineFishing Thanks for the view. Yeah seeing a fish go for your bait does the same to me as seeing a deer during season. I think the first smallmouth that I lost may have been a bit bigger than that one. Guess I’ll find out one day.
Not much water flow…looks like you need some rain there. Always seems tough when u can see the fish hit n try to set hook. Nice rockbass👍 9:50 beautiful smallie!! That was pretty cool catching a fish and those deer coming down to the creek! What a great outing!!!
Love the hunp to the creek! But from experience of going through heavy cover! You need to carry the rod backwards I've broken a few getting caught in the brush, especially if you get tripped up!
My father always said set the hook by feel, not sight. Nice rockbass...he inhaled it. What was that bluegill gonna do with that popper 🤣?? Beautiful smallie towards the end. Enjoyed the video as usual
@@honeyholehuntersfishing Yeah the first one was a smallie. There were several in that same hole. They wouldn’t touch anything after that. Thanks for all your support.
When fishing backwater creeks like that and the fishing is tough - ALWAYS a craw! 😉 Keep up the good work!
@@cerebraltackle Thanks for watching and the advice. Hopefully going back after the weather settles down. May have a little more creek.
Awesome awesome day of creek fishing. 👍👍👍😀😀😀
@@MBPFishing thanks for viewing. Had a great time, just wished I could have caught the first one and got the others to hit🤷♂️🤷♂️
A very productive creek. Those red eyes sure are cool. Nice Smallies and great jumpers. 💥👍🏻

Some nice catches dude! That's a great little creek to fish

Nice fishing spot. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@@ChesapeakeChris Ty. I think next time I’ll close my eyes before a fish hits. Yeah bluegill are so aggressive. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I point rod tip down and back when they jump to keep pressure on hook and to help catch up the slack; not 100% but I think it helps
@@malathaat74 I’m willing to try anything. Bit tired of loosing nice fish. Thanks for the tip and for watching

Hookset discipline isn't easy when sight fishing.
@@DpuckFishingandOutdoors That is the honest truth. I loose all discipline when sight fishing. Thanks for stopping by.
Nice smallies, but hardly epic.
