Thanks Gary G for the nudge to tie up this pattern. I don't think I'll be getting to fish out west this year, but I'll tie a few to try out on the Great Lakes this fall. Cheers
Piscator Flies Thanks, it's fly tying night on Thursday at the Campbell River Fish and Wildlife clubhouse. So I'll be getting these ready for Pink n Coho season.
I've been using this for Pinks on the Campbell River here on the Island. I was having an issue with foul hooking so I used this fly and they were going after them. Soon as I put it on they were all fair hooked.
@@garygallinger1472 that's awesome to hear! Glad to hear that fish are chasing these. I haven't had a chance to try them out on the L. Ontario tribs yet.
Personally if I was still fishing down there Darren, I would use this for Pinks, then two other colours. This fly with a hot red body for Coho and in then a blue back with red in between the white and blue, we called that a Coronation. It's a nice pattern.
Thanks, Th GC is an awesome fly, but I haven't tied any for bass before. i can try out a few things and perhaps down the road tie one up for the channel. Cheers
Chimo, Nice hair wing, but I feel sorry for Cathy ;o) lol. That reminded of an ad I saw in a magazine. A guy was on an airline and had his tying kit on his lap, he reached over with his scissors to cut some fur from a lady's coat seated in front of him! How's the air quality your way? Too bad about that wild fire, it actually made it overcast here last week, I could smell it too. Cheers
Chimo Joe, sorry I missed your message :( When I first started tying flies, I started looking at everything differently. I've gotten over it now, but I might have been that guy on the airplane if you were still allowed to have sharp items on a plane. lol No smoke up this way, just a little more rain today, weekend was beautiful though. Cheers!
Hey I have been watching your different videos for a couple months now and never entered your drawing I hope this is where you do it, I’m not a real good computer geek but here I am
Larry, thank you a million for watching the videos, I'm really glad to get to chat with you. I just entered you into the draw 3 times for you comments. You get an entry for every video you comment on. :) Cheers!

First wild Coho of the year caught on this fly this afternoon.

I absolutely love this pattern. Going to give this one a try. Keep them coming.
Keith, that's awesome, I wish you the best of luck out there on the water. Cheers
Looks like a good saltwater pattern will have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!
Hardy, I think you'd do well out east with this one. If the salmon don't want it, I'm sure the brookies will. Cheers
Nice looking fly
Bassmaster, thanks, much appreciated.
Very cool little pattern if your taking suggestions you should tie the (game changer) for bass

Going to try this pattern for runs in Ontario and Erie!
