Do you take the weight of the wheel and tire in consideration for the valving and spring set up?

Not exactly. If the tires were dropping really fast in the air than you could tune for that. That's a good question

@ I run Yamaha SXS’s and when changing between heavy dirt tires to super lightweight sand tires I have to change rebound and spring preload to get the machine to perform the best it can. Good luck and enjoyed the video
