Great video! This is how it's done, this is all you need to know to play the game. The WatchItPlayed video is a boring 21 minutes with convoluted explanations and fluff.
I'm glad I watched this video. I was on the fence about whether I should consider this as my next purchase or not and after having watched how the game is essentially played, I think I can safely say 'not'. It just doesn't seem to be the type of game I'd enjoy playing that much and I really doubt I'd ever really choose Ethnos over Terraforming Mars, Blood Rage or Scythe. But, that's a good thing. The video was very informative, explained the game's mechanics in detail and has led me to make a more informed decision, which I always appreciate.
Don't disregard this game though, I have played Scythe aswell and I prefer this game. Yes it is a bit more simple but it can be a more social game that you can have a board game night that doesn't just involve one game. Also with the tribes changing every game it really mixes things up so its always fresh.
I wish you had a video for Eclipse. About to get it on the table for the first time this Thursday and explaining it to 4 other people is going to be a nightmare.
Are you sure about adding a control marker you have to add ALL the control markers in the area because another vid said you have to surpass just YOUR OWN number of control markers in an area to be able to add another. If you have to add all players markers with a band it seems like with a ten hand card limit it might restrict you.
Yeah, the out of print thing is really weird timing. Fantasy Flight and Games Workshop parted ways right before it released, so it sounds like whatever's out there is all that's left unless Games Workshop publishes it themselves one day.
Thank you for making professional looking board gaming videos that are short and to the point. Pretty rare in this medium.
This is an excellent video.

Really good work - thx a lot -

You only add all players markers for a 2 player game. With 3+ players, add just yours.
The Rules Girl makes sense, thanks!
Any chance you could do one for Fury of Dracula?
It's going out of print soon, so probably not. But it's always possible if there's enough demand for it!
The Rules Girl just picked up a copy here in Cleveland for $70. The store has 3 more in stock!

Was tempted to buy up all of the copies as the price of the game has been sky rocketing since the out of print was announced.
PS! Great video on Ethos, that one might have to be the next one to add to my collection
"The goal of the game is to win."
Woulnd't have known that without this video.
Bufu
She actually said "the player with the most glory points wins". Obvious, but still needed to be said.
Slovakia!
I lost you at "shuffle the deck"
