Manny went straight to the hospital after the fight and had his half face in bandage including the ear.... Later on when Manny fought Cotto and says Cotto punch harder than clottey.
Yes, Clottey's punches are hella heavy. His game is heavily reliant on the inside. He packs power there but don't have a game on the outside. Pacman tried to go inside with him for few moments, and Clottey gave him some hard shots.

i like clottey but you sound bias with your opinion. mayweather legend boxer and smart business man. clottey gave cotto a good fight. but also take a look at mayweather when he fought cotto and tell me he a marathon runner. you do understand mayweather hands were gone at the middle of his career and that where he became more defensive and less engaging in the middle. but he proved for the last time with cotto he could engage and won. during the ending of his caree he became more of a business man fighting bullshit fights but it makes sense and he earned the right to do so.

Nothing but excuses. He didn't have true knockout power, but he did have respectable power and a shit ton of stamina. That stamina is what made him dangerous.
He broke Pacquiaos ribs after the fucking plaster incident so with the plaster or without it he could punch.
Even Cotto admitted that Margarito's punches felt just the same in the second fight. Blowing the Mosley incident out of proportion was just a marketing strategy to sell the rest of Antonio's fights under the image of the bad guy. Apparently some morons believed it way beyond expectations. If Margarito used plaster for that long his knuckles would have been destroyed in a couple of years, don't be ridiculous.

I watch this full fight live on TV. For me, Clottey won this fight. Clottey has more clean punchs. Margarito has more active puncher, but most of his punches blocked by Clottey double cover

Más cómo en ése tiempo el se manejaba sólo muchos promotores querían verlo caer.Ahora en éstos tiempos sin respaldo los boxeadores aunque sean buenos no destacan, a Antonio Margarito nunca le comprobaron realmente que hubiera usado yeso ya que el que lo use también puede dañar sus nudillos permanentemente.Los que lo acusaron Mosley y su promotor que tenía mucho poder en las comisiones de boxeo, no tuvieron vergüenza porque a Mosley lo encontraron con positivo de marihuana y claro que le entraba a otras cosas.En una entrevista al que fue mánager de Margarito comenta que el boxeador se descuido y le aconsejo que no peleara porque no tendría una buena preparación contra Mosley,peleo y perdió y se terminó o le terminaron su carrera, pero ahí quedan sus grandes peleas ya con pacquiao y sus famosas cláusulas de peso fue a cobrar a costa de su salud.Antes de omitir una opinión hay que investigar.Y repito nunca se le comprobó nada y lo terminaron antes de tiempo.
