Jason Fox has helped enormously those currently suffering mental health illness, mainly because one of the keys to addressing your issues is first to recognise & admit you have a problem to begin with, many try to bury, deny & ignore there's a problem in the first place. Also, to see Jason seek & then accept medical help & explain his journey is incredibly empowering & actually helpful to others watching this video.

I can tell you from personal experience as a male and identical twin who stood out in my fair town it’s not all support and admiration because in this world there are envious people and those that seek to challenge this intimate association we are speaking of. People like tough guys - the alpha dogs who are out there to prove a point because they hate the SAS. Yeah, there here also - not just the fans. It’s a mix in this world and being so closely associated brings you into touch with these people and groups sometimes. Hereford is not what you think it is or the SAS. There are real side effects - especially growing up. I'm beyond that now but growing up in the community with the SAS wasn't easy for me and my brother. We came from a big SAS family - it was well known in the town and it brought out a host of ill feeling. Friends have endured the same - this isn't spoken of. You're going to feel passionate about it for sure.

I’m a London black cab driver and I picked him up and took him home. Journey lasted bout 40 minutes and we had a great chat. But the thing is when he jumped in my cab I recognised him and said “you’re Foxy”. He seemed really happy that I recognised him. So humble. Great guy!!
Foxy is the best. His transparency about mental health and the Armed/Special Forces is incredible. The stigma attached to these issues is slowly becoming a thing of the past because of people like him. Very interesting interview. Love hearing the reality behind these boys’ lives. Massive respect.

Hope you winning the battle in your head just now Billy. I suffer from shite mental health myself after an injury stopped me working my trade as a mechanical fitter worked doors at weekend and trained Martial arts 30 years weights and taught self defense strike techniques control and restraint and behavior cues and situational awareness. Lost my income purpose routine size strength then the confidence and self belief. Every failed treatment tears bit of hope away then i’m ashamed to say i became a negative cunt drink drugs attempted suicide (too heavy to hang it seems) Wrong mindset is more destructive than the actual injury and constant pain 24/7. Strong mind can power a weak body. But no matter how physically strong you are if mind is weak you are fucked. Trying to be on friendly terms with myself again but still my own worst enemy. Take care fella 👍🏼

learning about Foxy's struggles and how he overcame them by just talking rings true. I needed that element of someone just helping align my thoughts and almost 'press the reset button' in my head. Everyone can exercise the body and become healthy, best by finding a trainer.....but the mind is critical as well and sometimes it just helps to have a sounding board 'trainer' to help get you back in shape!

Can listen to Foxy for hours, top bloke and so interesting listening to his story. But loved loved loved hearing you both speak about loving the clean feeling with alcohol. I had an unhealthy relationship with alcohol and now love the clean feeling. When I think about drinking I straight away think about feeling crap and poisoning myself. Always love hearing others express how I feel towards it. Great interview lads. 👍

I remember sitting in my mums kitchen watching SAS who dares wins for the first time and seeing Foxy and the others on that show really helped me through a tough time with Anxiety and depression just seeing how they conquer their thoughts and that tough guys like them also suffer too, made me feel less ashamed at the time. Real life Heroes.

Foxy is Legend and is so humble and down to earth, saved millions of people and doesn't even know it🙏🙏 Another great episode!
I remember sitting in my mums kitchen watching SAS who dares wins for the first time and seeing Foxy and the others on that show really helped me through a tough time with Anxiety and depression just seeing how they conquer their thoughts and that tough guys like them also suffer too, made me feel less ashamed at the time. Real life Heroes.
