- My first video in this style, hopefully you'll like it @ASMRtroops. There are some pretty unusual, otherworldly sounds for you to listen to so I think it's time to dig out the headphones, kick back and switch off your brain and let these sounds just penetrate your soul. Let's go on another ASMR journey in this 6hr Epic video with a mixture long and extended triggers with some shorter ones too.

This is the first time I've made this style of ASMR video and the comments thus far are really positive. Thank you all for the support you've given to me and the channel, it's been truly amazing but the channel is in a constant battle to get found. I've chosen a tough niche to get into as there are 500,000 ASMRtists, and 25 million ASMR videos on UA-cam. It's not easy to get the clicks so if you can all share my videos, everyone, then it would help to so much 🥰
I wonder who prefers this style to my usual head-mic style? Do you all prefer the head-mics? Also, do you all prefer to see me in the videos or is it better when I keep that mush in the dark? Be honest, I can take it y'all 🥰

@sillysummers thank you for the nice comment. Those mics are super sensitive so you gotta treat 'em with respect 🥰 I always try to find things that sound unique. Every object can produce a crazy amount of different sounds and it's nice to put them together in this way ❤

I'm currently editing my next video and it's another new binaural head-mic but after that I'll crack out the mics for some more of these types. They're actually more fun to make as well 🥰

Pink rain sounds 1:47:12 is my new favorite. The layers of sound this one material can create is phenomenal. Truly feels like I’m lying in bed during a thunderstorm storm; hearing the low rumble of thunder, lightning cracking, and the dull sound of rain hitting the pavement.
Can’t believe it’s actually just this one material creating such a visual effect and ASMR experience. 10/10
I agree, the sound from this pink sissal is pretty remarkable, especially when it's interacting with the foam mic shields.... most definitely sounds like Scottish rain to me too 🥰 If you like this then I did use it once before in this video: ua-cam.com/video/WIl_iPGjMgM/v-deo.html .... at [02:44:23]. That was my first run with sissal but the second one (here) was so much better... next time I use it could be even better again still so stay tuned to the channel 🥰
Honestly, i loved this more than i expected. Because the asmr feels natural and clean
Yup, you have a good ear for this 🥰 What you're experiencing when you're feeling the "natural and clean" ASMR is actually a combination of things. The recorder and the mics are premium quality but it's all in the edit though. Most ASMRtists just press a button on Adobe Audition to "normalise volume" so it automatically increases the really quite sounds and decreases the excessively loud sounds. I don't do that personally as there's a "tingle trade-off". You see, this quick edit strips away a lot of the clean audio in the lower and higher frequency ranges and can often introduce unwanted sound artefacts and a monotonous feel to the entire track. I call this a "tingle-trade-off" as it's these higher and lower frequencies that give the best tingles (for me anyway). The trade-off for me though, by not using the "normalise volume" button and editing manually, is time. Instead of a 5min edit, it becomes a week long edit. Sorry for the long reply here but I like to get this out there as you can definitely hear the difference between clean audio and processed audio 🥰🥰

Ahhh, so you like the special effects in the background, that's good to know. I think some worked out better than others. I liked the underwater one with the squishy octopi the most 🥰

Hello! Was wondering if you’d be interested in trying out the “panning” trigger where the sound moves to each ear every now and then, i rarely see it but it’s so good! Specially rapid panning where it’s fast and there’s no breaks in the sound moving.

Thank you ❤ Most of my videos have panning, this one included. You'll always fine panning when I'm behind the mics as opposed to just my hands on each side of the mics. For example, [05:36:04] and [04:40:40] 🥰

@@ASMRtroopsI loved the scratching ,to me, a lot of tapping sounds are similar, and tapping is just tapping, but something about the texture of the surface of the cork rubbing against itself is really tingly to me

You're welcome. I tend to record in one day. I've sometimes hit record buttons at 6am and sometimes 1am before bed - I like to (a) get the quiet hours when everything is total silence and; (b) record when I'm tired as that's when I can tune into the sounds best. Editing takes way longer than recording though 🥰

White paper tubes were something else
Yeah, those were just lying around and I thought I'd try them out. The best triggers always seem to come from random objects that you find...... but I particularly like the hollow sound these make when the mics are inside the tubes 🥰

You're in for a rough patch trying to grow in this oversaturated genre, however, you definitely have a good set-up going on.
It'll go slowly to build up your channel, but keep on grinding. With this amount of effort && care, people will notice.
