This was a very refreshing list type to see! I personally had some enjoyment with Starfield in a casual sense, even if I wish it were just a more refined RPG as it should've been like past Bethesda RPG's- Pre-Skyrim era. Perk systems aren't primarily rpg elements. I do think Starfield was genuinely overhated for the (most part) fact that Xbox owned Bethesda and how badly Fallout 76 disappointed many; so it became fashionable to hate the game before it even came out. I still remember people bitching on Twitter that the game was ruined merely for its title screen when it leaked. My favorite things to do in Starfield were the Crimson Fleet faction quests and just building my own ship with a flexible crew at the helm. My advice with Starfield is to play at your own pace and branch off to one of the other factions that suits best your play style.
Nice list, though Starfield was a huge disappointment being so woke, I booted it from my wishlist. Super Mario RPG definitely was a highlight of the year and a wonderful surprise. It's technically not from last year but in a week Another Code Recollection releases, which is a remake of a masterpiece.
