Im trying to build my one on a slight slope.. but there is no give in the pickets and the top rail.. so I can't.. But I can't see anywhere saying that they are unsuitable for any slope???? head ache!!
Where I was explaining how to set a post where the ground changes, I said we are going to set a grade post. A grade post is not a special post, it is just a normal line post that you set where the ground changes levels, it's your point of reference to make the top level and follow the flow of the ground.
I would like to know why the makers of these vynil picket fence think, that all vinyl picket fence will be installed on a dead level lot? I have a slope on 24 ft difference of 16 inches in height. Now with what every one sells I cannot possibly have a vinyl picket fence because every picket fence is designed for straight line use. Does anyone else see how stupid this is or do you all live in ohio with flat level lots. I live in the mountain state. I would like to maintain the top level and adj. bottom to slope, but manufacturers just can't seem to think along with normal life situations and topographical geography.
OMG I’d hate to work with this guy , he is NOT anything I’d call a professional installer 🙄, his techniques are elementary at best and there are quicker/easier/better ways to find a grade and level post line … I couldn’t finish watching after the gate trick HA HA HA HA
Hmmmm, how smart would it be to add a link to part 2!!
Yeah.. I can't find part 2 on their website..
He’s a dumbass that’s why. Thus is the okey dokey fence channel for sure
As soon as the shirt comes off shits about to get real
How deep to dig the hole?

You should be able to rack the panel

Do I need to take off my shirt and suck in my stomach while putting up my fence?
Just wanted to mention, one does not level a post, one plumbs a post.
Touche
You are supposed to pour concrete in after you put the post in the ground.
Wouldn’t really make a difference here since the posts are hollow
You're supposed to have either a metal post or a wooden post inside the hollow plastic fence post
😍
Putting the hole 2 inches above the ground isn't really a good idea running a string would be much better due to unleveled ground

Dave Taylor our fence system is rackable. It works on any ground.
Then where is the example of that poindexter?
Dave Taylor we will try to make a video for you. Thanks for the suggestion. We love helping misanthropes!
If you have a slope, then you step your panels. It isn't rocket science😂
I agree no need to be topless, put a shirt on man
Put your shirt on, man.
Not sure what that has to do with installing a fence. Some guys work better without one.
I don't need a video.
