Robot is still called as a Masterpiece because of Rajni Sir's dedication. No films in India can come close to this.

The battery low scene makes sense because he didn't know that his battery requirement would increase, initially his battery must have been enough to reach home. The sudden increase in requirement due to fights and running might have exhausted his battery sooner
Exactly, It’s the point.
But it's a Robot, an A.I. A robot can predict the circumstances and know when its battery can end. And a robot knows how to utilise its power efficiently in such circumstances.
*That's why South Indian movies have Conviction*

This film was FABULOUS. The songs, the scenes, the story... Robot was aired almost every Sunday and I used to watch it almost every time it was there on TV. I love this film to bits. ❤

Practical effects better than full CGI. Enthiran used real world compositing in almost every sequence. They went to the location and shot clean plates for vfx sequences while no such thing was done for adipurush. That is the difference.
@@Vaikartana24 if you don't have time and Budget you can go with practical effects but if you do have Lots of time and Big budget you can't even imagine how much can you create with Full CGI and VFX...

This film has such a smooth dense screenplay that once it starts you can't stop watching
if there was a dialogue " Mera battery low hora hai " it would be a spoiler for the audience . The whole sequence wouldn't be a so exciting . Love from Nepal.

I was a kid when I first saw rajinikanth's movie andha kanoon and I became an instant fan of him..though I like realistic movies and crime dramas but there is something about rajini sir personality I recently watched Jailer and it was a blast (my favorite scene is the extreme closeup short of his eyes with tears) and my favorite movie of rajinikanth is thalapathi (1991) and I would recommend this to everyone...
Considering the year Enthiran was released, it can be called a masterpiece

4:32 The frame skip is a jump cut created totally on purpose. Tamil movies, especially Shankar movies, are filled with this technique. E.g. in your very video, the moment from 1:01 to 1:02 where Vashikaran throws the glass away and picks up the hammer-there's a jump cut there too. I actually quite like that they used this common editing technique to mask the CGI-to-real transition in the train track shot :)

If you really think that rajni copied the antics from amitabh then either you haven't watched both of their films or you are deliberately trying to pin down rajni. Those are very well known to be rajni specific. No one can do those with the kind of perfection that he does. Ex. the style of putting on the goggles. Now don't tell amitabh also does that and Rajni copied him.🤣🤣 Of Course, the films were remake i 'm not telling they weren't.

Actually they did show the Battery low in the previous scene as well. In the first sequence where Vasikaran and team fixes the robot , they start testing it . The robot dances , fights and hits the lab assistants ( in a funny way ) and then it shows battery low. After that they puts the robot in Charge .

I think last fight scene was the best sequence in this flim and this flim deserves a lot of appreciation
Robot ending was so awesome!! 2.0 was still good.. Idk why Shankar is working on making Aparichit remake.. Shankar is the biggest and best in India when it comes to vision and creativity.. I think him and SS Rajamouli sir knows this best!

There is a practical dilemma for the director. Rajni is not in his youth to carry this action movie and the physical effort required to properly pull this off this movie. On the other hand, his support stardom is required to sell the high budget movie.

Fact : Uska battery low sudden ho jata hai because he uses his all the powers at full level... like if we paly normal apps in mobile our battery stays good but whenever we play high end game battery drains faster.....

I think the battery low issue is due to fight. For fights a robot needs more motor work and therefore more battery. Where as before robot was doing just computations.. so for the mechanical reasons the robot got low battery
