My favorite dubstep subgenres are deathstep, metalstep (more metalcorestep like sentinel complex remix of "devil at your door"),brostep ,briddim, orchestral dubstep, minatory
This is one of the more comprehensive and accurate subgenre videos I've seen, well done! Just a heads up, the song used for Brostep is actually Glitch Hop due to the BPM, and I probably wouldn't put Wubstep, Wobblestep, and Vomitstep as separate genres
Se le olvido el Minatory Deathstep, ya que son 2 estilos diferentes, el deathstep se podria decir que es como Dubstep pero oscuro, y el Minatory vendria siendo Deathstep pero mas rasposo con snare mas fuertes
9:00 Hybrid Trap is not a sub-genre of Dubstep, but of Trap. The Dubstep sub-genre that fuses Trap and Dubstep is called "Trapstep": it fuses the rhythms and percussion of Trap with the heavy, distorted bass of Dubstep, unlike Hybrid Trap, which mixes elements of Trap with other genres such as Dubstep, Future Bass, Hardstyle, etc... Here are some examples of Trapstep: RIOT - Enigma Adair - WTF Jorgen Odegar - Up Rain Man - Make The Fire Burn
what about glitch hop , what about midtemp and drumstep and way more i bet these are mains ones and not even all XD i could tell from memory that cause of community and experimenting and making hybrids, were made much more subgenres and genres itself kind of like scientists providing us with gmo shit but in this case its music gmo which is good xdd
EDM Trap is also derived from Dubstep, previously called Trapstep which became Hybrid, and Future Crunk which now goes by the name Twerk, And don't forget the Grime of ONE that derives from Rap with DUB or D&B
Grime came before dubstep, out of the UK jungle/ragga scene, and Trap evolved separate from dubstep, taking influence from southern Trap rap in the US, not UK dubstep
@@bergdubz7990 its all good easy one to miss I'm sure there's plunty of other small subgereres that were left out. It's just one of those foundational old school styles I feel is important to mention.

Holy, I love riddim, tearout and the more hardcore ones but can't go wrong with an old school classic
So glad I experienced this creation of a new musical genre from the beginning.
Love the documentation for the sake of clarity
Brostep example :
proceeds to use moombahcore as brostep example
Was aboutta say that
Could you give a better example of brostep?
Eleps - Powersound and Teminite - Party Time.
@@reenouneer I didn't know that Powersound was Brostep, I always thought it was Riddim. Thank you!
My favorites were Glitchstep, Briddim, Viking Riddim, Deathstep, Tearout, and Metalstep.
Viking riddim 😂😂😂 bro pls dont think thats a genre
There is one subgenre of deathstep that I know of that you forgot. It's "Minatory"
Metalhead here. I'd love to hear a cross between old-school doom metal and minatory. They're both slow and give a sense of dread, and incoming danger.
500000000000000000000 tons of distortion
Minatory is rarely anything other than bad mixed deathstep
@@ShwappaJ Influx has a few BM projects that include minatory elements
Good video!
Хороший монтаж да и музыка подобрана хорошая
it's always so funny seeing these dubstep genre videos because you can tell the person who made it has never touched a daw in thier life lol
lol it’s true but to be fair, most people haven’t
Melodic Dubstep so far ❤❤❤
Future riddim / colour bass. But my favorite is B&W
My favorite dubstep subgenres are deathstep, metalstep (more metalcorestep like sentinel complex remix of "devil at your door"),brostep ,briddim, orchestral dubstep, minatory
Looks like we’ve got very similar tastes in music.
seeing instrumental core in this made me grin hella wide lmaooo

Yay Camellia!!!
I love everything infekt does lol
What is your favorite dubstep subgenre? Write in the comments!
Reggie Dubstep, UK Dubstep, Brostep, Drumstep, Briddim
Riddim, Tearout, Deathstep, Metalstep, Minatory
@@VibeWaveEDMOldschool and Deep
Riddim!!
Dubcore by far
no matter which video it is every single "all dubstep genres and styles" video is completely wrong lol

Viking riddim is like tearout fr not briddim but for some songs
Dude in the background of Animestep really tryna be voyd.
VomitStep lol
I would add Rockstep (Example: Urbanstep - Unreachable (Ft. Em Bollon))
What about dubstyle? Yknow hardstyle X dubstep, yknow obsidia??
Bro forgot liquid dubstep
minatory is missing😫
You can find Minatory in my video about subgenres of Deathstep!

The Brostep example is moombahcore...
Minatory на 2 часть оставили?
Minatory у меня в видео о поджанрах Deathstep
Não existe animestep. Não é porque tem vocal chopp de anime que isso qualifica pra ser um gênero. Esse animestep, na verdade, é brostep..

Wouldn't Rifle Blow Kiss be glitch hop or moombahcore?
Why did you forget to include MELODIC RIDDIM
that's so sad...
Melodic Riddim is Colour Bass
I see color Bass but no purple dubstep...
What is purple dubstep?
I think its video gamey like oldschool dub?
Look up Joker he is a pioneer of the sound.
That's on me. I know about it but forgot to include it.

True, snails is the only fkn guy doing "vomitstep"
old tearout????lmfao
I cant believe how partly unaccurate this is 😂😂
Of course some of there are accurate but holy shit most of them are just so cringe lmao
Where's purple? The dubstep and wobblestep examples are just brostep, there's no difference.
