the heat from the iron can soften the connector and make it shrink so it is hard to plug in. to stop this you can plug the other end in, the solder it. Awesom videos kev, keep up the good work.

What an ending!!! You should give out more Easter eggs videos.
Dip the wire in flux or solder paste first. You'll be amazed at how much better things flow and stick. Try it. You'll never solder without it again.

Your doing a great job soldering. i do it every day at work on circuit boards with expensive irons and lead free flux core solder. But at home i do it just like you cheap radio shack iron and whatever solder they had lol. It really doesnt make a difference as long as your iron is hot enough. But thicker wire and higher amp joints demand more heat than little stuff. That airbag was nuts it makes me mad i just threw away my old microwave with the dials
