I feel bad for this poor woman, she left her trust in someone who didn't deserve it and the screams she let out when she found her poor dog are haunting. Those were shrieks of pure pain.

This poor woman how could you do this to a creature that would risk its life for you and protect you. I am ashamed to say that this South Korean woman is part of this world. She is a heartless woman, who could’ve brought the dogs inside and fed them and kept them warm and alive. Instead she left them to die and suffer. I lost my cat recently, seeing her dead body was heart breaking. I can’t imagine the pain the dog owner felt finding her dead dog so skinny literally frozen to the rooftop.
When she tried peeling him up but couldn’t, I cried for her and the dead dog.
She was betrayed by the Motel Owner, the owner and her son left the dogs to freeze and starve to death all while lying to the owner that they were being cared for.

The owner discovering the dog and petting it was absolutely heartbreaking. I couldn't imagine finding my pet in that condition.
Right? And having to confront the one who they thought would take care of their dog, but didn't. The dog arguably had it worse since it suffered and died because of this, but the owner also suffers the pain of losing her companion for the rest of her life.
Sorry but that owner isn't excused for me ether and i am not even certain she wasn't making theatre that she cared so much because she saw the police getting involved etc.
But whether her sadness was real or not she can't be excused for leaving her dog to such a person and honestly if she has to travel all the time due to her work she shouldn't have a dog. Dogs are animals that need their owner to be there for them. You can't have a dog like that. She should have given her dog to someone else that can be there for the dog.
Dog should be in homes with an owner that come be with them daily or a family which someone will always be around even if one member leaves for a trip etc.
I found my cat like this. Hardest thing ever. Seriously took me four years before I could look at a cat again without crying

The fact that she cares about them and even wanted to get a companion for her other dog so they wouldn’t be lonely shows something. She thought everything was okay and was being lied to for years and only just figured out what had happened. I can hear the pain in that scream, that wasn’t theatrics. Please don’t be such an ass and assume she was like the motel owner. To find your dog in that state when you’d been told it was alive and well is honestly heartbreaking. So just stop it

Probably for such good people(the ones who fed the dog and finally rescued them) God hasn't erased human "civilization" still.

The dog owner trusted the woman(could be a friend or close relative) to take care of the dog but then was lied to by her
If you cant take care of a dog or neglect it, either give it to a dog daycare or something, or ask someone else to take care of it.
That motel owner was just heartless, she even lied to their face while they got his body off the ground

One day I had to leave my house and trusted two of my close friends to take care of my rabbit while I was gone. When I came back I saw my rabbit laying on the floor dead. The annoying part is that when I asked them what happened, they stood there like they didn't know what I was talking about. I never talked to them ever since.

I don't know what medically open eyes mean, but I got from his open eyes that he was *killed*. Apparently he didn't die naturally, he was fighting to survive, he wasn't ready to surrender his soul and pass on. I'm feeling so sorrowful for him, a death like that is very remorseful and heart breaking, we can't just say "it's his time", I wanna send his soul a lot of love, warmth and compassion he died in hunger, fear and cruelty.

The nerve of that lady makes me so angry. She even had the audacity to try and escape with the dog leading to her just trying to choke it while those caring people try to pry the leash from her cold heartless hands. It make me upset to see a dead animal frozen and stuck to ground only to be left there for days. The owner was not even notified of the death. I can sense the pain from the owners voice and how heartbroken she was to find out the sad truth. I can't express how ashamed I am of being a humanlike those monsters. Those people disgust me. the amount of respect i have for the owner is unmeasurable. imagine having so much trust in a friend and her son to take care of your 2 dogs, your children, and only to come back with one (barely). and the fact that the owner was able to control her anger is just so...wow. she was able to accept her dog’s passing and wish him a peaceful rest but then look on the bright side that she still has her other dog. what a woman. i hope she never had to deal with that kind of pain again. her and her dog deserve happiness again.

The owner of the dogs never asked for this. She must've been sad because she'd been lied to, their dogs were either dead or malnourished and in bad shape and just the fact she put all her trust in someone so horrible. It must've been a really bad time for her and I am surprised she managed to hold a lot of her emotions back, if it was me I'd already be on top of the motel owner taking revenge, not because I wanted to, but because of the overhaul of emotions going on.

when the owner started crying- that's when i started crying too. just imagine leaving your two dogs at your friends, only for them both to be neglected, and one of them dead. that woman and her son is disgusting, the fact she didn't even acknowledge that she did something wrong- disgusting. everyone who tried to save the dogs are amazing people.

I started crying when they showed the pictures of her other dog from many years ago who had to die a horrible death. Imagine losing a pet so dear to you to someone who never cared.
She trusted her and she went and killed one of her beloved pets and neglected the other.
Oh i cant even imagine how the owner of Deokgu feels. Just knowing that your dog passed in such a bad way. No love surrounding it, no happiness, no comfort, hell it even died with its eyes open. That's got to be heartbreaking to just know that. Rest in peace Deokgu. I hope you're running happily in a field of steaks!
I hope Deokgu's owner can live a happy rest of her life after this horrible event. I know the pain she went through. It is horrible what happened. I hope Deokgu is now in heaven having the best afterlife.

Heartbreaking! Props to the neighbors, animal welfare people and police. Despite laws that restrict them from crashing in there and getting the animals, they showed remarkable patience and resiliency. The woman who was "taking care of" the dogs is obviously mentally ill. Poor Deokgu but thank God Baekgu survived!
When the motel owner of the dog was escaping and was caught and they were fighting for the dog made me sick to my stomach. How she was lying and forcefully pulling the dog made me angry. How can someone be so heartless😔

The worst part about all this she walks free to do it again to someone else’s dogs, laws around the world need to change when it comes to animal cruelty, they had all the evidence they needed to bring charges against her but didn’t cause they have to confess wrong doing, it’s really sad that other dogs may suffer the same fate cause of this horrible cruel woman

Namely, in Korea, if the suspect does not confess, they are not officially guilty. That's why you always hear guilty people denying guilt despite evidence showing 120% falsehood. The law in Korea was made by criminals for criminals so the many good people suffer.

i live in korea, and animal abuse IS a punishable offense. i don't think you can go to jail for it, but the fines are extremely high.
