Seriously though, the easiest thing the owner could have done was given a bigger tank to use for the crocodile.
lol. Imagine justifying someone’s actions who kept a slave in a tank that didn’t allow the creature to move for multiple years by saying that he wanted to do the best for his pet. And don’t thank the owner either, he only did it because he was being recorded and pressured. He should go to prison
Aerociviz Nicholas the LEAST he could have done.
The owners neglect caused the other crocodiles to die until only this one was left, and now he’s keeping him in a tank so small he can’t even eat properly. So don’t say he wanted to do right for his “pets”, ignorance is not an excuse for this. He should never have had them in the first place, and certainly shouldn’t have been performing with them. (Although I understand that was 20+ years ago and our view of animals performing has changed drastically since then.)
The way the snout is deformed...makes me so sad 😭
That's exactly what I was thinking as well!. All from being in the tank for sooo long.
I have seen an other video about a lady keeping a croc in a bath tub. She didn't know what to do with it as it was growing larger. That croc had a snout and teeth issues too. So sad. People need to do their research...

@@DarkestLove191 He never mentioned...
Crocs snouts are naturally bent like that to help them breathe which make it easier to hunt prey.
Edit: Okay Jeez I look at an actual picture and didn’t realize the difference...
Frosty the ArcticFox his mouth is more bent than they are in the wild. It is from being in the small tank for so long and having nowhere to go.

Some of y'all are coming after the owner, did you guys even put on your subtitles? Did you watch the whole thing? He took care and loved that crock for 27 to 30 years, it's not easy to let go of something you loved for 27 to 30 years so he didn't want to give him away, he was clueless he's not young like us, he grew up in the old times not in the 2000s or the 21 century, if he were to be actually abusing the animal he would not have fed it and probably already killed it and who knows what probably eat it? He felt guilty and he was unaware about the situation that the crock was in before they told him about it, and their was no one at home to take care of him because the owner was off and working his ass off to make a living, its not a sin to try and make a living. This is cruel of a human but pity is what makes us human, we all have made mistakes and this is a mistake that he didn't realise was wrong, y'all are gonna come @ me for showing pity for a "monster" or a "abuser" 🙄 but just maybe understand what he was going through? And of course I feel so bad for the crock that had to go through it but at least he's living his best life now, and of course I feel mad and frustrated that the owner did what he did, but those were his past mistakes so stop living in the pass and come to the future where we are today hey the crock is okay and the owner is living his life.

I cannot understand how people think” oh okay he loved him”- and think its a reason, when you really love someone or an animal this much you dont make them suffer like this! Its not complicated! The owner said he got confused or made his mind complicated to hear people say he’s abusing him, in which OBVIOUS way he definetly is. Now this, people, this is not love! This is selfish! C’mon ...How can you even think in living in that yourself and be feeling loved in it? It’s so twisted! Absolutely true. He is not a bad person but everything he did was selfish and irresponsible, starting with the decision of getting a pet crocodile. He deserves to get called out for it, he made this animal's life a nightmare for 25 years. Luckily people reported about this situation so rescuers could take action.

Nicola Locke THE SAME GOES FOR ANIMALS IN CIRCUSES AND ZOOS! AND ONES USED FOR EATING/WEARING/ETC IS A MILLION TIMES WORSE!
Herta Schneider there's definitely some things that shouldn't exist but I wouldn't put All zoos on that list. Some definitely but not all. If done correctly they are a vary valuable tool to teach, breed endangered species and fund projects to help save animals. Not to mention homes for animals that could never be released due to humans taking them in the first place. If that alligator in the video was released it would be a death sentence.
Nicola Locke Not only that, but zoos also take in injured animals that could never have survived without their help. There are also situations where some animals are mistreated in the Zoos. They are good establishments, but they have their drawbacks.
Same my belief

He wasn't in the tank for 25 years. He was at that makeshift alligator room for 25 years starting from an unknown time after mid-1988. At the earliest it was in the tank around 2013, so closer to 5 years (I don't know when this was recorded and it's vague just how long the gator was on display), which is still bad, but not 25 years bad.

I see 2 pretty closed-minded people here. Sometimes you have only one choice just to be with you pet but sometimes you have to choose to let them go for their own safety. People who say that the owner’s crying because of selfishness don’t know what it’s like to let go of a pet you’ve taken care and is attached to for many years. Yes he decided to let the croc go because it’s what best for the croc but that doesn’t mean he didn’t care for it when it was still at a manageable size. @@jazzanydiscua1049 we know that 1+1 =2 lol. He had 25 years and enough money, ability to use the phone to call for help. He was confronted by a team of people about why he was encasing the croc in an endoskeleton lol, and we know he was extremely attached to the croc, we know it couldn't have took to much research and time to find people like these, we know he knew what he was doing was wrong, we know he's not mentally or intellectually handicapped. He kept the croc for his own selfish reasons as he admitted to being attached to it, against it's own obvious good. He was crying because he was losing the croc, not because he suddenly had a call from his conscience as well as having that selfish guilt build for 25 years.
he could have given it to a sanctuary at any point in the last 25+ years but didint .. no pity for him.
If he would care, he would have seen how horrible he kept him!
Please give us an update when he is all better i need to see how he is doing when he is all recovered
Well they never ever share updates!
These are shortened versions of what they air on Animal Farm, a show broadcasted by SBS. If you find the episode this clip is from, you can see a lengthened version, and there might be an update about the crocodile in a later episode, but I’m not sure about this.
Edit: Right, another thing though is that you should look starting around the 700s episodes because that’s where I’ve sound some of the clips on this channel, but episodes beyond the 700s aren’t really eng subbed anymore.

Oml he’s snout looks bent probably because he keeps bumping his nose In that small glass tank!!!!!!!!
No I think they are bent so they can breathe when they are laying in water
Yeah it's naturally like that
*his
Your right, it shouldn't be as bent as it is. I've seen that happen to an alligator who was kept in a wooden box for like 20 years.
Ohhh Kayyy from snake discovery?😂
You can tell that he really loves it and wants it to be well. It’s just that it’s not the right way! Happy to see that the owner gets it and the crocodile will have a better home for the rest of its life
Aww bless him. At last he can finally be a crocodile again for his remaining years

The owner is stupid ...really why would u take an animal out of his natural habitat...
At first I was like
“Oh that scumbag owner abusing that poor croc”
But then when he explains himself and shows the photos and stuff I really felt for the guy, kinda like those people who try adopting every cat they find; they neglect to see the harm they do because their blinded by their affection for the animals.
So true my stepmom is a nutjob cat hoarder but it started out as simply helping spay neighborhood cats to help... now they're living in shit and filth with no living space and constant fighting. It makes me so angry I cant do anything animal services have already been called and somehow said it was okay? Which is bs to me.
Mackey Girl I hope things turn out okay for her and the cats but also for you. Must be stressful on you.
I had the biggest smile on my face when Mansik set foot in the water :')
Just crying my eyes out, it's fine. Breaks my heart to see the owners confliction, but I'm so happy to see people who reach out and approach the situation peacefully. Thank you for giving Mansick a new life chapter 🙏🐊
Agree I feel bad for owner he love the crocodile but need to let go
Because I see the crocodile not comfortable in the small tank
I'm guessing the crocs attacked each other because they all knew instinctively that as they grow older and bigger there's going to be less and less space to house them all. So they all fought each other to see who will survive.
Someone - In addition, being housed like that and the depression that would naturally go along with that would make them lash out. Humans would be/are the same.
Yah.. even rats cannibalize other rats when overcrowded
That's actually nature. Only 1 can survive and that's what happened. Only it happened with more crocodiles than normally I believe.
La mejor decisión con todo el amor del mundo 😊♥️❤️ que vivas muy feliz hermoso coco🐊
KritterKlub, I had lots of tears in my face. Animals must be always respected. I loved this story. I think I can even feel what the crocodile felt when met his new home. You all are great people.

Mansik the crocodile say: I LOVE MEH NEW HOME BUT WERES MY OWNER!
His new home is still terrible
And his lovely owner
Being confined like that would drive any human or animal mad. It's so incredibly inhumane.
I feel so proud of this channel for helping animals in need. And also cheers to the owner of the crocodile for making the hardest decision for anyone who owns any type of animals. If that was me, and I was emotionally attached to the crocodile, I wouldn't be able to do what he did. Yeah he did the right thing.❤🥰😊
Poor abused animal, he will have a good life now! Bless all you saved him
Thank you for saving him. Beautiful animal.
Poor animal.. trapped for 25 long years that too in a small tank.. Thanks for saving the crocodile🙏
I’m literally crying this is so touching 😭❤️
I am so happy that the owner understood how bad off this animal was. I hope that this animal lives a long and happier life.
i’m really proud of that owner. it’s clear he loves mansik, but he also wanted what’s best for him. he let him go with no protest when they suggested they move him to a new place where he would have a new home and better environment to be in. it proves he’s willing to sacrifice what he loves for the better.
I think he would've given him up earlier but couldn't find someone who could or would take him
11:56 he's like y'all suck another box really 🤣
13:25 what a great ending though
Thank you so much for helping this poor soul.

Im respect to this guy, because he brave enough talk and tell everything without hesitate
I’m so happy that the owner actually loved this crocodile and was relieved to finally give his pet a better life. Tears of joy over here ❤️
I don't normally get this much anxiety from these kinds of videos but this is ungodly distressing.
I don´t understand how one can love an animal and be so blind for its suffering.......incredible!
love is blind.
Aw you can just see how comfortable the crocodile gets once they got in the water! Glad they have better living conditions now!!

I’m claustrophobic and just imagining that is horrifying
I'm fighting back my anxiety over the lack of room to move for so long.

That is so cruel. The animal is to big to be in such a small place. The animal needs to be rescued, and put where it can move swim like it is meant to.🐊😊🤗💙💚💜💛❤

rubber jaw is a metabolic bone disease ( nutritional secondary hyperparathyroidism) not directly linked with the tank size just helping it as lack of calcium makes the jaw soft

Hey idk if you can do anything about this, but Honey is a dolphin that was living alone stranded in an abandoned aquatic animal park... Idk if she is still there, but from what I have read yeah. It may be nice to cover it as her story is really sad. Thanks
Honey Mint - The aquarium Honey lives in (in Japan) has been sold to a new owner and Honey was part of that sale. She is no longer considered "abandoned" (according to them) because the new owners are planning to re-open the aquarium this summer. Let's hope that she gets some company, as dolphins are not solitary creatures. Of course, the ideal would be for her to be returned to the wild, but we know that will never happen.
Andrea Thanks for giving an update! It may be cool to just have them explain the situation because not everyone knows this is happening!

Wow, this kind of torture is mind boggling. 27 years! For those of you who say the owner isn't a bad person, if you have an animal, any animal you 'research' on how to enrich their lives and make it as natural as possible. Crocodiles are WILD, firstly they are not pets. All you have to do is see how they live in the wild and know how far they swim/move in a day to know a tank barely as long as it's body is not suitable. Jesus. Glad it got moved but was really hoping it's new 'home' would be 100 times bigger than it ended up being. At least it's out of hell.
