At 9:51, you can hear the dog expert refers the dog as 'e-aa-ee', which means in Korean 'a child'. It's what people in Korean called their own children. It's heart-warming to see how he called the poor angry dog as a child, that shows he really love his job and treat the dog respectfully/with love although the dog is a bit violent. He could just called the dog 'gae' in Korean but he didn't. Respect!

True before having a pet try to educate themselves first what are the cons and pros then what to expect and how to communicate with them in a basic form, choose the type of dog that suits your personality or lifestyle coz your time must be focus on them when they are much younger. Like in this the start of her dilemma is when he barks a lot she must understand first why he is barking all the time since hes saying something to her and what she did only is scold him and threat him with sticks so his trust lessens and lessens and decided to be fierce on her so she cant hurt or threat him 😐 most of the times the problems of our pets are the result of what the owners do to them 🙄

@@Vonanimations334 Bro. I think you are the slow one. Try writing proper sentences before you call someone “slow”. Dogs don’t “change on their owners just like humans can switch on each other”. That’s one of the most uneducated, inaccurate and dumbest “comparisons” ever. Seriously?
It’s the owners fault, she had no understanding of the dogs needs, didn’t take care of it properly. It’s always the owners that are the problem, not the dogs. Good dog owners take care of their dogs, they don’t have these problems. People blame the dogs when it’s the humans that create the problems. Don’t get a dog.

      @breathingbutnotthatgreat 4 роки тому +77

@@MindelM I agree. She is not fit to own a dog. She shoul receive training too, because if they return the dog to her and she keeps being ignorant, nothing will change, the dog will go back to the same behavior.
Okay, she can be a first dog owner, but that's no excuse, she should have looked about the basic of educating and caring for a dog first. There's no point crying and pretending to be the victim now. She's at fault. She probably took the dog from its own mother when he was way too young too, that's why he has behavior problems.
Honestly i dont like people that leave their dogs in the yard. They can easily be drugged/kidnapped and killed. Dogs should stay with their family, inside the house. And even if the owner has a yard, the dog should be walk ed everyday and socialized with other dogs. That dog clearly never left the yard and the chain once he got mature and didn't look a teddy bear anymore.

Does she take him on regular walks? When dogs don't go on regular walks they build up lots of tension. Also, he reads her fear as weakness. Not good for her to show fear. Oh, she admitted she didn't know how to raise him, so she used "tools" to quiet him when he barked. That's a good start for her to admit what she did wrong.. I also had to learn when I cared for my mothers senior dog. Watched many of Cesar Millan's reruns on TV. The Dog Whisperer. Very helpful.

Like you say showing her fear hasn't helped either. So many mixed messages at least she never gave up or beat the dog like some would . Itsbgood to see the right thing being done by an animal and expert advice is always key, the newspaper being used, the hand thing and the umbrella all appear as a threat and make things worse. Ppalgang has suffered because of it. I pray the special training program can help him. I think if he is able to return home, the owner should not chain him up on such a short chain all the time.

She is not chaining him out of her choice. Its for safety reasons. The dog can attack anyone, her as well as any guest.
I don’t think blaming the owner is correct. Sure it was not a good idea for her to threaten him with a newspaper, but its not like she was hitting him
Plus the dog started barking first, and its a rather common practice to scold/mildly threaten like making loud noise to stop the dog (Like slamming something on ground near the dog. This DOES NOT mean hitting) as this allows for negative reinforcement which tells the dog doing something is not good. Its in rare cases when dog become more defiant. Perhaps because of the dog’s genes and breed
And tbh I think she cares a lot about the dog

I think she cares about the dog too. I think Ppalgang was barking because he was lonely and wanted love and attention. When his owner came out and scolded him with the newspaper, it reinforced his confusion, frustration, and anger. The only way Ppalgang can communicate is by barking. If he is tied up 24/7 on a chain, and lonely, he barked to convey that to his owner. He was punished for doing nothing wrong. This reinforced his anger. No dog should ever be chained up like that. It is cruel. There are other ways she could of dealt with this situation.

So like suffering senior humans, they are simply beaten and abused by their oowner's never understanding their pbysical or mental pain and simply get beaten or abused with neither the animal nor the upset human understanding why they are making each other suffer so badly. This happens particularly to aging animals who suffer from the same chronic illnesses as humans, such as severe arthritis, cancers, Alzheimers, severe kidney spinal pain, etc., as humans. Biting or barking is the only way they have to tell their humans that something us terribly wrong and they badly need an urgent medical assessment. Remember, most

@@mariummajeed5103 what do you mean, "how did the trainer later in the video got friendly the dog". Go watch some videos. Even abused dogs get friendly overtime. See it for yourself, a dog beaten to almost death and has lost it's loyalty and hope towards humans it can still show emotions of affection.
She chained it because the dog was biting her always. The first incident wad when she was trying to put her shoes, the dog bite her toes. Then the dog continued. With the dog being that way the best is to put it somewhere where it's safe for you and for him. She has been giving him food water and love through petting him and at first he liked it if you saw the video but suddenly his personality changed. If a dog is behaving like that , 1000% you should chain it and call for help. WHICH SHE DID. When she couldn't anymore do anything she called for help and hoped for the best. Was it right from her side to hit the floor and scare the dog so he doesn't bark anymore? Nope, absolutely not. But she did the best she thought of. Other people throw their dogs away , others let them starve to death, others chain the dog upside down. She did nothing cruel ( that we know of). That's a fact. You see so many dogs in the streets wandering around. Abused dogs, dogs inside a sealed bag, dogs that someone had broke their legs and put then in the shore. Why you people fail to realize that her only wrong way of doing things was to scare the dog? You are accusing her of abuse without any evidence. You are assuming, daydreaming. If that's the case, you know that some dogs have an aggression disorder right? So do people. What if the dog had a disorder like that? And with proper training ,
that she did not know, hence expect dog trainers exist,
the dog has accepted and is now less threatening? Who are you to assume such things in the first place? Oh yup a guy from the internet sorry. 😂
If the dog was abused the trainer would probably had picked it up already. As he is an expert and he has seen abused dogs. Who really knows at this point right 😂?

Yes me too. I have one female now .she bites me 5 times. Terrible! But In India it's easy to put it outside and the municipality can kill it. I never want to do it. Because she is a perfect guardian for house and her past life was very traumatic. Every one advise me to kill her. Finally i rescued a Male puppy !! After more attacks puppy will become a man of the house!! He takes a responsibility to command her . He is Charlie a adorable boy.

It seems like he probably was an inside outside dog. They said that the neighbors complained about the dogs constant barking. She, not being a former dog parent, didn't know how to get him to stop so she would scare him probably even hit him a bit with the rolled up paper to get him to shush. Obviously a dog barks to protect it's territory. So when she would punish or scare him for being loud he didn't understand what he did "wrong" so it became like PTSD for him and he attacks her out of fear probably. A lot of first time pet owners, especially dog owners, don't know how to treat dogs. They yell at them, throw things at them, and tie them down as punishment. It's obviously wrong but people do so. Not out of being cold hearted evil but because they are annoyed at the loud barking, the chewing up furniture, etc. I've seen is a lot. Many times I had to correct my dad who punishes the dog with fear. It's his "country" way. I tell him he has a loud dominant voice use that. A dog understand.

Please keep in mind that rabies is common amongst dogs! This woman seems sincere, and I can see that slobber is beginning to form; a symptom for rabies. Many animals become hostile, even against their caretakers. Lack of care seems nonexistent, as this woman is even trying to use an umbrella in order for her dog to eat properly! It's on and off aggressive behavior means that it is very likely it is becoming a mad dog.

@@rinneuvvv some cats tend to do lovebites (speaking from experience here) and they don't mean any harm to you. They will bite you to show their affection or if they're trying to play with you. The best way to tell if a cat's bites (or scratch) is a form of aggression is to read their body language. If they do that while their hairs are spike up and the pupils of their eyes dilated (big round instead of slit shape) and sometimes accompanied with hissing, then they are attacking you out of defense/aggression.
