King Gizz is actually how I discovered Altin Gün, but I hadn't realized they'd taken inspiration from mid century Turkish Rock music. Really cool video!

big KG fan and lover of all kinds of music, fascinating to hear about yet another genre thats heavily influenced areas of their sound. Excellently written and edited video mate
Anything and everything Gizz I’ll eat up, especially this video!! Amazing :) I may not agree with 100% of their beliefs, I still love everything about them. Truly a band of the century.
How on earth do you have such a small amount of subscribers? Really professional video thank you for making it! Also good to have more videos on my favourite band.
I'm a Turk and I approve this video. You referencing Zürcher's work tells me a lot about you're not talking nonsense. Came here for Anatolian Rock ended up finding out about KG. Great work mate, great work.
thanks for this video. i hope you won't offended but i have to say that. some of informations that you give is a bit superficial and partly incorrect (especially about turkish political history)
Apologies if some of the Turkish history has mistakes! This was an assignment for a media class focused on global musical influences - as of such the accuracy of the political / historical discussion wasn't my first priority. This being said, I'd love to learn more about the topic - feel free to provide corrections to any inaccuracies you may have come across!
Anatolian Rock finally getting the international love and recognition it deserves! Teşekkürler!
As a huge Gizzoid here, I had to google anatolian rock bands - AAANNNNNDDDDDDddddd now I have a whole slew of stuff to explore.

This video lasts at least 25 mins
In 80 and 90s heavy metal bands started to appear in Turkey so 80 coup didn’t make the ottoman influence in music resurface
Great video, kinda ruined by the stink of modern prog politics, but still great video.
Also, check out Altin Gün.
