Nice job Martin! The LED's sure make a big difference! Have a good week my friend! See ya!
You have done a very disciplined, professional job. Nice Work! Most folks would not be as detailed with the wire numbers and connectors as you did. I commend you.
Very well done Martin! I like those switches, they are very reliable and they are nice too. I've used the same for my Defender. We never have too much light in dark! Especially working at night. This is typical for us in the Northern part to snowplow in the dark! Thanks!
Thank you Joe! Yes those switches are great and look cool too. LED lights are perfect for nighttime snowplowing. Ir probably help that the snow is white and highly reflective giving you great long range visibility. Thanks for watching!
Excellent modification, Martin! What a difference! I love your Ranger EV! Cheers!
Nice job Martin, very clean install! Looking forward to Part 2. 👍😎
Thanks Chris! The install gets more complicated in part 2 but I try to keep it orderly. See you in Part 2!
Nice work, Martin. Your background really comes in handy with these projects. My family still wants a Ranger EV and hopefully we can get one later this year or next year. If so, I'll be back for mod ideas! Have a great weekend, my friend :)
Thanks David! We do love our Ranger EV. If only they offered a four seat version, I would probably have gotten one. Thanks for watching!
You already know my opinion of the led lights Martin. I absolutely love them.
Barb and I sometimes build a bonfire down in our woods and stay until after dark. My Kubota RYV 900 doesn’t have the greatest of headlights. I bet you can never guess what project I may having coming soon.
Hi Gary! Yes I do and that goes for me too. Once I tried out the LED lights, I knew my wife and I would be taking night rides through the woods as well as daytime rides. Just have to wait for the weather to warm up a bit more. Looking forward to seeing your LED light project!
This is one project i have been putting off for the kawasaki teryx. The rear windshield is tinted so night visibility is very poor while backing, luckily the teryx is factory wired from rear lights that will come on when the machine is put into reverse. I really do like the idea of the EV. I think if we just used the side by side around the farm the EV would be a solid choice but we spend a lot of time in the north woods where charging may not be an option.
How's she goin'? This is a much needed mod for any work vehicle I think. What a difference in lighting eh!! Nice job on all the wiring Martin. Very neat and professional. Those were nice connectors with the water proof inserts!! Take care!!!
Hi Mike! Thank you kindly! Yes the LED lights make a HUGE difference! Thanks for watching!
Great job as always. Have you ever had to replace your glow plugs? If so will you please send a the link? I have a kubota L3301 4x4 2015 and I have no idea where the glow plugs are located. Please advise. Thank you.
Thank you Bryant! No I haven’t. I don’t know where they are either, but if you have the Workshop Manual for your tractor, it will certainly show where they are.
@@DIYMyWay Thank you, I'll see if I can find it. I did not see it before. Maybe I just over looked it. Thanks again.
I see you did not use a relay in the wiring, Is a Relay really needed?
No, not at all. The current draw from the lights well within the switch’s rating. Thanks for watching!
you should build a rube goldberg machine
What chair do you have that you use in the shop?
It’s just a simple wooden stool that doesn’t even have a cushion, but I don’t sit on it that often anyway. Most of the time I stand at my benches. Thanks for watching!
Sorry, should have been more specific. I was referring to the one with the wheels on it with the small back, it was used in the piranha install video. Enjoy your videos!
Ah! That’s a creeper stool I got from my father-in-law. I don’t know its make or origin but I sure do love it. Thanks! Glad you enjoy my videos!
brother you did a fantastic job but why go with such tiny light bar in front? if you going to be a perfectionist, get a bigger light. i mean huge.
Thanks Don, but no thanks to a bigger light bar. That would be absurd and unnecessary. The smaller one give me all the light I need and want. Thanks for watching!
@@DIYMyWay Yes sir! Sometimes it's necessary to be absurd; especially with lights. You can never have too much light when working at night.
This is one project i have been putting off for the kawasaki teryx. The rear windshield is tinted so night visibility is very poor while backing, luckily the teryx is factory wired from rear lights that will come on when the machine is put into reverse. Hi Richie! Yeah, you should just do it so you can see at night. The EV also had a reverse light wire I could use but I wanted to be able to use the lights as work lights if I needed to. You are right that if you take your side by side off property and ride significant distances then the EV is not a good choice. Thanks for watching!
Good evening Sir, you made a very well detail step by step electrical connection and they very well made too 👍👌🧐 Keep warm Sir Cheers 👌👍🍻
Bonsoir Dave! Merci beaucoup mon ami!
@@DIYMyWay Bonjour Monsieur !!!
