Thanks so much! I'm really enjoying it, i get to play around with some lighting as well. I have seen one other channel that does starfinder lore videos but sadly it's inconsistent
I have used AAF in my campaign. My players did not want to check further on them, so they ended up with a radical group and a "freedom" bombing raid on an illegal foundry. Good times ..... Long live the AAF ;-) And continue the good videos.
Great video! And I really like the new set up. Sets a nice tone. A neat storyline I had for one of my characters is that his soul actually inhabitanted the body of the founder of my game's AAF. So my players got to slowly see how the group got started. It was especially cool for another player who was in the AAF.
@@TheMapleTable thanks! Sadly the story thread never got a solid payoff because the player who inhabited the founder's body left the game for life reasons. But the players were eating it up until then. I'm probably going to turn the character into an NPC at some point. Are you planning on setting a theme with your lights for your different content? That could be neat.
Probably my favourite faction, i'm definetly going to use them quite soon. The first minor villain is a corrupt member of the Starfinder Society who has a small army of androids. Turns out they were brainwashed into obedient servents, and had their memory changed so they idolize their master (the campaign takes place in a chaotic and recently discovered galaxy that barely has any monitoring in regards to members of those larger factions, so he gets away with it and no one notices yet). I'm thinking about introducing the AAF because of that, they currently know an NPC who's secretly a member of the faction, so he could call the AAF to fight alongside the players, or even to help them undo the brainwashing process so they can truly save those androids. That's still the first story arc tho, so i still have a lot of time to think about it.
Great video - thanks! I am just coming to the end of the Aeon throne AP and have thrown a few tidbits on the AAF into the mix - I just did a cutscene where the android PC was first renewed in Chainbreaker One itself - he may have been a member of Ex Novo but since he renewed he is unaware of it. I also made Cedona, the former steward, a part of the AAf. I am thinking of continuing their fight into the Azlanti Empire, (I have made Zolan Ulivestra into a matador for android-fights as a young man, and I keep putting images into the game of him standing holding an android head or suchlike) but that's a lot of homebrewing that I may not have the time to do well...
Thats a good idea, take whats there make it your own... play fast and loose with the lore. its what i do in some of my games when i don't know exactly how things are "supposed" to go.
Hi Maple Table, if it is of any use, there is actually lore on the origin of the Androids and though lost to time, I do not think it is lost in the Gap.
I didn't explain this part very well, you're right about the creation lore of androids but how the tech came to be or came to be known was lost to the gap. I also have not covered the androids yet as a playable race
No one else on UA-cam is making videos like these, let alone consistently. Thank you!
BTW, love the new set up!

Haha, good "punishment" for them not doing background checks. I try to work something like this for my players when they do something silly like this.

That is a great use of character and backstory to introduce the group.
Thanks for the input on the set!

I plan to change it to a colour i feel suits what I am talking about. Sadly my camera doesn't seem to be picking up green very well...
Loving the Starfinder videos. Keep ‘em coming. I have played Pathfinder and D&D but can’t seem to find a Starfinder game.
People have been telling me. They are interested or starting one since watching my videos. Im sire there are some online groups you could join.
Awesome stuff. Thinking of creating an Android character and this is very helpful.
I aim to please... And make you want to play more starfinder lol

This just makes me wanna jump back into starfinder. I only ran it once and then the group fell apart. Ty for the vid doh
No worries, sorry your group fell apart. Lots of online games happening though
When will you talk about the Free Captains? Good content as well btw
I can give them a bump up the list
Love the starfinder videos. Keep it up
I plan on it!
