- This is a real heat treat! Homemade chilli sauce! Cayenne peppers, red Thai chillies and bird's eye chillies make up this SPICY chilli sauce. With a secret ingredient that will transform this sauce into your new favourite hot sauce.
Recipe
∙ 150 grams Cayenne chillies
∙ 100 grams Bird's eye chillies
∙ 100 grams Red Thai chillies
∙ 2 onions
∙ 3 red bell peppers
∙ ½ cup minced garlic
∙ 1 cup canola oil
∙ 1 cup water
∙ 1½ cup sugar
∙ 2 cups white vinegar
Spices
∙ 1 tablespoon dried ginger
∙ 2 tablespoons Paprika
∙ 1 tablespoon salt
∙ 3 tablespoons Atchar masala
∙ 5 Bay leaves

As with all recipies one can make adjustments to suit personal taste. I added half a pineapple and some tamarind to enhance that sweet and tangy flavour. Thanks for sharing.

I made it. Was a bit too sweet for my taste. Reminds me of sriracha. I would use half a cup of sugar next time. But it's full of flavour. You can have it with anything.
That's definitely a spicy bottle, got the top of my head itching just looking at it. I'll switch those out for some bigger peppers, see what I can do with ancho chili.

How long are we keeping it outside the fridge and how long must we keep it in the fridge and I didn't understand the part after 30mnts are we waiting for it to be cool or we pour it inside the bottle while hot?
Vinegar added is a natural preservative so it can be kept out or better refrigerated like all other foods once opened. Obviously let the liquid cool down.

Hi! These chillies were specifically red to keep the sauce red.
You can use green chillies if you don’t mind the color combo.

Afterwards you should put it into sterilised jars and boil,water can for 15 minutes.Willthen last a year.

Hi! It is a Masala(spice mix) for making Atchar. Atchar is a pickled dish usually made from green mangoes or vegetables.
