In today's video, I will be taking y'all through new method that I will be trying for the first time whilst showing y'all how flat twist has been made easy using this Needle and Yarn Thread method to achieve this stitch braid look. I also wanted to add some juice juice to this protective style by adding a faux low bun at the back. Great protective style as mentioned and definitely an easier method for beginners who have been struggling to learn how to flat twist or even just trine achieve the stitch braided look easily. Sorry if someone else already mentioned this, but there are plastic yarn needles that one can buy at a craft store or fabric store. For example, in the USA, Michaels has them for 99 cents and Jo-Ann Stores has them for $1.99.

I'm Zimbabwean, we've been doing this hairstyle for a long time (not saying we came up with it). I remember having it done when I was 8 years old, so you can imagine that it's been around for a while.
