Honestly, all jokes aside, the title is right. That’s how I learned long ago how to light parry and deflect consistently. You just got to keep going for them; don’t care about losing, and don’t care about KD. Eventually it’ll come naturally
As someone who mained peacekeeper, then played around with a bunch of other characters(mainly knights) and is now recently back to seriously main peacekeeper because I just have the most joy to play her despite the amount of times I have wanted to rage at how bad she felt, learning the game again and to really hold on certain things and not spam dodge attacks has been all the power in me actually doing more with peacekeeper. On top of everything, I have gotten much more deflects in and it is just so much more satisfying. Deflects in general have always been my favorite feature in the game but peacekeeper has always been the worst one to do them on because of her model and stance(which I think they have fixed over some patches), but gd she has the BEST looking deflect in the game. Nothing looks as sick as literally sliding under someones sword and going in for the stab. The other characters deflects in the game all look so undramatic and just filler animation. Even orochi's animation is kind of lackluster because of how quick it is. (But I won't play an orochi a day in my life.)
That vanguard was literally scripting it was so obvious that even the best players can't always predict. When the warden releases his bash, it's too much of a delayed time to perfectly predict it.
