Funny thing, I play very passively cause most of the people I've met light spam, there is basically no player that actually plays well in south America and that includes me cause I went up against someone who actually did stuff and it was at the same time the most humiliating and fun experience I've had in this game

It happens to me all the time when I play with my friends who aren’t very good, the opponents do the most awful options(for example, lighting from the opposite side when I heavy faint) and it works, bc I’m not used to bad players.
From what i gathered, the only thing that was changed was his hitstun on heavies. They changed them back to heavy hitstun. Lights are still medium hitstun. But you can still be lighted out of top ub. I could be wrong, haven't played in a few days. Edit: seeing you kill that Valk on rematch was so satisfying. Actually a can of 25% less sodium spam.

Light spam is the worst thing about For Honor. The 'no skill kill'. It isn't quite as bad as it used to be, but I certainly remember the likes of orochi, glad and kensei being that absolute fecal manner of light spam abilities. Back on my ps4 days the input delay on controller meant you had no time to 'react' you had to 'pre-guess' if you wanted that block
See this is why I prefer watching Misty than playing the game: I would have missed that light parry against the Valk round 2 and spiraled into rage for the rest of the session.

Ngl Light spam valks are a menace to society, they can sweep the legs and continue spamming lights or knock you into a wall and do it again until your dead. Or just all out throw light.
That bs that the Valk was doing is the reason I main all guard characters and characters with crushing counters. I straight up shat on light spammers with kyoshin.
You have to deflect both of the first 2 hits of shamans zone to land the attack. Also on a heavy parry go for the bleed stab, once they start to pre block top you get heavies to land on a heavy parry
@@thedarkprince6 He might already know most of these things, i'm sure you know he plays either a little over or under the entire hero roster and even for a good player having 3 characters under wraps takes a memory toll especially depending on the mood u're in the day u're playing, so muscle memories sometimes more than often should prevails in some scenarios.
@@andrun22 I'm rep 70 shaman, nuxia (#3 in wins on pc for both) and jorm, you can memorize the move sets of more than 3 heros but I'm also a higher rep. Yes misty knows a lot of heros and most of the punishes, he doesn't know all the optimal punishes and higher level mix ups for a lot of heros beyond glad. Jack of all trades and a good one but master of one. So I like to tell him punishes.

you can't block anything 2 vs 1 (i'm talking abouut BLOCK not parry) but you can parry all lights , you dodging all unblockables 1 vs 1. nice cheat. That's why you don't have any gameplay dominion or other modes. Because script didn't working..

They made a bunch of his moves faster, especially his heavy opener (I think like 200ms). Less damage too though.
