Just wow! This is the best campus board I've seen. What a variety of levels, from "easy" to truly advanced ones! Brett did a great job there. 🙌 Very good video edition. Thank you for those written tips 🙏. If you explained them speaking they would have been more difficult to understand (the angles and so on). Actually, I don't recommend anyone to start from campus. It's better to climb for some time before, or do some other finger strenghtening exercises for a while in order to prevent injury. It's pretty common if your fingers are not prepared for this. Some of those exercises are shoulder killers hahahah "Necesito practicar" perfect spanish there, Sir! Stay safe, happy and healthy, everyone! ☺️🙏
Just brilliant. You can tell that Brett is a thinking person, the layout and variety of holds is simply beautiful he should quite rightly be proud. Thanks for the high quality videos you constantly post Anton
"Most of the time you can't hang onto the back with just your fingertips, unless you're freakishly strong." OR IF YOU ARE MAGNUS 🤣I busted out laughing at that...good video Anton!!😊👏
It isnt that complicated to build yourself (the basis) and there are only two problems: - do you have the space for it? (Most people wont have that tall ceilings available.) - where do you get the climbing grips? (Should be an easy answer: the internet) All you need to do is have the "board" secure enough to not fall off your wall (and not break the wall either ... so it needs to be a strong one, not one made out of thin wood).
As a non-ninja warrior and non-climber i rank: -first obstacle "doable" mark -everything after first and before 1cm shelfs "hard" mark -static 1cm shelfs "wtf" mark -dynamic 1cm shelfs and everything after "inhuman" mark This is fricking amazing :O
5:33 most important advice ever, im off climbing completely for a week and its going to take a lot of easing back in after i seriously strained my left middle finger tendons on a v7 dyno to crimp that took 30 attempts. If your finger starts hurting dont ignore it and power through!
Great video, and I love that you edited in information about the things you were talking about it made it easier to understand. And that clip of Magnus lol
If anyone hasn't tried to do what they are doing, most of it is really freaking hard, and most people straight up couldn't do it. Just in case anyone forgot these guys are incredible.
That board is a dream! Possibilities from 'easy' to advanced! The overhang everywhere is such a good idea! Brett really thought that through! He moves like a weightless feather, you like the 'slightly heavier' version ;) Training finger/grip strength like this is not for rookies, though! The video was over much too fast ;)
At around 7:45 the term you are looking for is spatial awareness which is defined as "knowing where your body is in space in relation to objects or other people." (NHS)
"Feel like you will never be able to stop, so you have a lot of work, which is nice" /'The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know' . 💪👌
That moment when you only have time to make a comment on Antons video and have to finish watching later. Edit: I was finally able to watch and I can now sleep in peace
Sometimes these videos make me feel so bad about my strenght, but considering I that year ago I did not have the gripstrenght to eat with a fork and knife and had to wear wrist supports every night, being able to deadhang from a bar for 5 seconds is huge progress. Also my feet were even worse than my hands and I can walk again that alone is amazing achievement. Still working on being able to do a pull up.
squeze a towel rolled up, all the reps you can in a day, trust me. The hardening and strenghtening you will do is immense. And cannot be replicated by anything other than maybe climbing all day
Tendons DO TAKE FOREVER to heal. I tore something in my wrist/thumb 2 times. Each took months to repair. One must not overwork. Know your body... (I learned the hard way)
Hey Anton, I really appreciate your videos as you always explain a bit about training principles and physiological stuff. Other than that you are a really handsome guy and I admire your basic physical fitness and versatility. ThumbsUp of course :-)
The only thing missing is a continuous campus board. The ledges aren't always ideal, as you won't be able to do big moves, skipping holds. You'll go too far out.
Brett is a lock off king. Another great video Anton. This campus board is perfect.
“I didn’t breathe cuz it’s hard for me”
Antons very relatable....glad I subscribed🙃

As soon as he said that I thought, "I bet Magnus could do it..." lol
Where is that?
@@mikey3920 8:43
westie430 lol k tanks
Anton: How many reps and sets do you do for this?
Brett: I would say very low, maybe 10.
Me (a powerlifter): That's like cardio range.
I understand you bro😅🤘
Yup
As a rock climber I wish I could train on that board! First time I have ever seen the compression training.

Incline a nerd when it goes to grip training, absolutely love it. Give me a chance to train on that campus board would be a dream
I would love to see you bring Magnus here!
“Necesito practicar” I love the fact that Anton speaks a little bit of spanish
Uno poquito
I would comment about that too, is he planning to travel to mexico? This russian spy
He was in Mexico already. He got some cool videos over there
@ɮᴇᴄφᴍɪnɢ - WR really? Can we not with the political crap?
@ɮᴇᴄφᴍɪnɢ - WR lmao
11:00 "necesito practicar" I like those spanish moments. Soon anton speaking several lenguages
Brett is such a champ!! And tank top Anton is 👌
Magnus participating in this video would be 🔥
at 10:13, i understood: "it's more finger strength... for the ladies"
after listening again, i understood that it was just finger strength related lol
gumba wu lol me too mate
I'm curious to see how Magnus could handle these crazy vertical pinches.
Not gonna lie I think he’d walk up it. His pinch strength is nuts
@@colehibbard2851 bring the 120lb climber too. Magnus is in demigod territory.
Yea I think first try for sure.
i don't think we should bring Magnus here. he will just make everyone else look too bad
@@patanjalilemonsquashimmortal or perhaps inspire them to greater strength. :)

Anton, what a experience. Brett is a chill guy. Great work !👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Brett Sims is probably the most underrated ninja. His Grip and lock off strength is unbelievable.
There it is! The video I've been waiting for! I can't wait to go to a ninja gym myself and just have fun.

man your vids keep gettin better and better 🙏🏻 keep it up brotha!
2:14 those were like real sound effects from ninja movies :DD
So true though 😂
Just said to myself 'I need another Anton video'... and this was the first recommended video! Yay! 👌☺️
So many videos lately, Anton. You are spoiling us.
Yay!

Thank you for your kind words!😊🙏
Grip strength is something I am really going to concentrate on.
Brett Sims is so cool and relaxing
The word your looking for on the 10mm edge was “contact strength” .. awesome video you guys are super strong 💪
Yep!🤘🔥
11:00 "Necesito practicar." Anton dropping hints about his normal girl.
"Does my bicep look good?"
I can tell you've been hanging out with Juji haha!
You can tell Anton has spent alot of time with Juji and Tom with that last comment :P
My thoughts exactly lol 😂
Good stuff, mr Fomenko!
I’d like to see magnus on these
such a good video, and brett is brilliant. Keep the amazing content coming. Really enjoy your videos
Very good video! I would like to see more grip strenght videos.
Without the beard, I didn't recognize Brett Simms! Great video!
It's a good Friday now :)

Campusboard for jumps and crazy Things and the pegs are really nice too
Any climbing gym in the world would be blessed to have this campus board !
"Terrified... in a good way."
That needs to be on a shirt or something.
Brett doesn't look particularly strong, but looks can be deceiving!
I wouldn't even say that he doesn't look strong, you can see he definitely has a big developed biceps and big/strong forearms for his size.
Looks can be deceiving, he’s wiry strong rather than bulky strong, which is great for climbing and Ninja Warrior
Focus on his arms
The bigness of his upper arms is out of proportion
thb when you look like Lester from GTA5 if he lost a shit ton of weight, no one would really guess he's THAT strong :d
he reminds me of Gunter from Friends and now his aggressive stares make so much sense x)
Absolutely awesome video and this campus board is 🔥🔥
Currently working on my finger strength as well. Impossible to go around my house now without attempting to do it without touching the ground 🙃
Great advice guys thanks, Anton youre awesome bro keep it coming with the good content!💪

realy awsome campus board!! and anton is super strong. wuld love to see magnus test it :D
Yayyyyy I've commented about wanting a finger strength vid so I feel like I contributed to this. You're welcome, me 😛
You're the best/beast!
would love to see magnus do that last one. curious what he could do on it. It looks extremely hard
Honestly, Brett Sims probably has some of the best grip strength of anyone, in ninja. Yusuke morimoto and Matt Bradley also come to mind.
I want to try all of those, excellent job at making an exciting campus board

5:45 take this warning seriously! I’m recovering from a finger injury right now and I’m going on 6 weeks. Super sucky and hurts training
