a very select few
I watched it on a long bus ride
I watched it on a long bus ride
I've definitely seen it, if I remember correctly I've even seen it in the cinema
I just love when he goes like "Oh no, I'm falling" and then he falls down super slowly 😂😂😂 Also Happy Birthday Anton!
Ahah! Thank you so much! 😅
Happy Birthday Anton! 🥳
Yeah! Happy birthday!
Thank you!
@@AntonFomenko Thank you for all the awesome videos! You're a huge inspiration 🙏
@@AntonFomenko bro can you make a video where you teach every exercise you think is essential to do the tricks like you do
"One of the most charismatic and likeable human being"
AHah! Thank you so much!
I forget sometimes that you are not a multimillion subbed youtuber.
You put the effort in like you are one!
You seem like a genuine, humble guy, and I hope you get the recognition you deserve.
Have a great birthday Anton! 😁🥳💚
Thank you so much for your kind words! 🥳
WOAH , i didn't even realize till u mentioned it XD
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANTON! Thanks for the entertainment.
Thank you so much! 💪🥳
I'm a structural engineer.
The amount of weight this can take is driven by the length of which it spans between your two supports. Assuming its spanning 3.5m (~11.5ft) and is of approximate dimension 150mm x 40mm it should be able to carry 365kg at its mid point before completely snapping. However, you will see some gradual signs of failure, i.e. cracking (splintering) before you get to that point since the wood is a flexible material. The reason you saw it crack during when jumping on it is because when your weight is accelerating downwards due to gravity, your weight is essentially doubled so you start to see cracks form when its roughly at 50% capacity!
Long story short, a good sized board will carry your weight but its recommended that the other person comes on after you since the larger weight localised to the centre is what would make it fail!
As someone who has logged in the great northwest for decades, and works with wood daily I can tell you that you are just making stuff up.
The strength, flexibility, breaking poor of wood depends entirely on what type of wood, and it’s not negligible, but significant differences between wood types strength. Douglas fur is magnitudes stronger than hemlock for example, both these are soft woods commonly used to make boards, but we also have hard woods which are less flexible, and more commonly used to make furniture, which break With minimal flexing.
Anyway your numbers are literally just pulled out of thin air. This is the equivalent of someone having a metal bar in this situation, and you saying well this is how much we can expect from a metal bar ect. No it depends what is the metal bar made of steel? Is it made of tin? Or is it made of bronze?
Another perfect education video! Nw I know what to do if I'm in a burning sky scraper and start to fall off a board that I've propped between two ponts:
Do a backflip and recover.
...and happy birthday.
@@revblade Thank you! 🥳
Watching your reality checks of stunts in action movies is always fun. Special thumbs up for going the extra mile and re-enact the relevant scenes, too ;)
☺
Idk anyone that says DJ. It's either Dwayne Johnson, or the Rock when he's being referenced. Your confusion was not shared by you alone haha
Anton is producing videos like a madman
Keep up the hard work man ! Always a pleasure to watch your videos, and thanks for the good vibes 😎 strength from Switzerland to you my man !
Thank you so much! 🥳
7:33 the wood FLEEPs
So for the reliability side of this you need to be concerned with the knots in the board mostly. One thick knot will destroy the sheer strength and will crack just by pushing it on it. You've got a pretty solid board there, a few smaller ones but they are definitely the weak points. (old carpenter tip: a board will always warp in the direction away from knots closest to the edges)
This is a really cool series, but I feel like some extra safety measures could be good. I'm just concerned you'll injure yourself! Besides that, I love your channel and the content you mak
Happy Birthday Anton! thanks for all the content. Have a good one
Thank you so much! All the best your way! 💪
"I hope in your life you will never face this scenario where you have to put the wood over the bridge in the skyscraper which on fire."

That bit about the food allergy was sinister. 😂
I would love to see you do the trick where the hero is hanging one handed and pulls another human up with his other arm. Like a two person one armed pull up.
Happy bday!!! 🎂🥃
Thank you Mark!!! Your support is huge!!! 💪

Happy Birthday Anton!!!
thank you!!!!
Love your videos, always excited to see one posted! Happy birthday!
Thank you for everything!
🥳
in the movie you see the piece of wood start spinning and then it stops, like it was stopped by something and it loses momentum. At 8:15 to 8:17 you can see that in this video.
Thanks!
Thank you !!! 🥳 Appreciate it!!
Heartwarming as always hehe
8:41 man I’m dying 😂😂

Can you do a video on wether you can use a whip like Indiana Jones and swing a big gap you couldn’t jump without it. Could you also retrieve it? How long are the longest whips? Well worth a look. Would love to know. 💪

happy birthday sir! I hope you the happiest day
Thank you so much!!!
Before laws on workers safety, bricklayers work on bridge like this every day - I did it for 3 months when i was 20 - without safety belts or harness at the height of 15 meters or more. The most funny part, was when you had to disassemble the structure behind you and pass it piece by piece at your colleague downstairs...creepy, yes!!!
I can't believe your birthday is on my birthday...so, happy birthday to us :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! All the best! I hope you have a great time and I wish all your dreams come true!!!🥳
Happy belated birthday Anton!

Happy birthday, enjoy your coffee and mystery drink!
Thank you!!💪
My biggest problem with the whole stunt is they are above a raging fire sooo the smoke alone would kill them even before they got across the plank lol. Movies lol
wood didnt even flex in the movie, it was solid as a stone. Also, anyone else remember the OG "Towering Inferno"?
Happy bday!
Thank you so much!!!🙏🥳
Thanks
Thank you so much!!! ☺
Feliz cumpleaños, Anton!
Muchas Gracias! 🥳

"you might throw back flip, it will be safer" ... и тут видимо Антон вспомнил типичную надпись у нас на крышах "будешь прыгать - ебани сальтуху" :-)))

Классное видео! Привет из Новосибирска.
Спасибо большое! 💪😎
I worked on scaffolding for 15 years, ive seen some crazzzzzzy shit. That board flex happens constantly. Gotta have them sea legs.
Happy birthday!
Thank you so much 💪🥳🎉🎉🎉
7:35 When falling as in the film where the force of the thrust in this case where the legs give a sweep over the whole body there is no way that the board will also begin to take this force, in this case that you staged you were wrong. Also note how your elbows affected the whole behavior of the board, in the video you can see that the board took the force of the fall, which is really the weight, and was not swung to twist thanks to your elbows.
Happy birthday, Anton
Wheee! Thank you!
Happy Birthday!
