She's back! Thank you for inviting Karina from Lifting Pins and Needles back to the Wardrobe by Me UA-cam channel. The slit cuff detail and raglan sleeves look really fun to construct.
I am preparing the pieces to be arranged on fabric and wonder if there is any way I might remove the darts without throwing the measurements off too much.
Why or WHY do they not give us a COLLAR video? I have already torn out one collar and its giving me fits. No way is the undercollar "smaller than the top collar" as stated in the pattern directions- it is larger when cut out, and is still larger when the two pieces are sewn together...very frustrating.
Hi Judy, this is the collar video. I'm wondering if you cut the undercollar on the bias or on the fold? But anyhow, here's the link to the technique of the convertible collar. ua-cam.com/video/EGYsyM8PboE/v-deo.html
A nice tutorial but I wish the video didn't jump around so often and so quickly and you took it a little slower on the more complicated bits. Would just like to see it at a more relaxed pace.
@@Wardrobebyme No so thank you I'll try that and see if it helps but the jumps in editing are, I think, what makes it hard to keep up. I see this is a couple years old so perhaps the newer tutorials are smoother. I appreciate your taking the time and effort to teach these techniques.
That sleeve slit is amazing! I never would have thought of sewing it that way! I have a piece of raw silk, this will make an amazing shirt dress.
I'm so glad that you like it. I love making details where the pieces fold onto themselves., creating encased and neat-looking details.

That's not a good idea.

Do you know that you can slow down the viewing pace?
