How far away from the slit should I be doing the stay stitch? And what is the seam allowance for stitching the binding etc. really struggling to get my head round doing the left sleeve. Would be great if there was a cuff tutorial showing both sleeves so we could follow along.

Nice contemporary pattern which I am enjoying making but the pdf instructions are not great and although the video helps it still falls short, for me, of explaining in particular how to attach the collar. The camera is just too close and all i can see is hands ! Also using a fabric where the right side is obvious would be a great help. On to my 3rd unpicking of the collar..............................!

what is WSF?

This is a really clear video and it’s great that you answer all the questions so if I get stuck I can probably find the answer here already or ask here and likely get an answer - this gives me a lot of confidence to have a go, I think I’m gonna try it!

Is there a tutorial on how to assemble the skirt part of the dress?

I find it odd that written instructions are different to the video. Having said that the video is very helpful.

The waistband here is curved but the pattern is straight- did I miss something?

can you share how you built the inner lining or can you point me in the right direction?

Definitely not for a beginner or even an intermediate sewist. Beautifully stitched, but this sewist is, without a doubt, extremely experienced. A bit more hand holding and a slower pace would be helpful. This is not a simple pattern. Regards Sally

Are the medial part of the front pockets only secured by the waste band, or are they supposed to be attached to the fly-construction somehow?

This video is fab to supplement the pattern - I have a question on the zip length - I am making the pattern size 18 which requires a 20” zip, but I may need to shorten the jacket - am I safe to trim the zip to length at the top end because the end is sewn into the collar ?

I don't know where did you start measuring material cutting material I just see you stitching how can I learn to make partens and cutting before stitching is the last thing to do

Good video, but why no flat felled seam?

This is the reference for the camp shirt as well but it’s not exactly the same pattern. My brain seems to get lost😅 Would love to have a tutorial specifically for the camp shirt if you guys plan to do one🙏🏽

I'm still fairly new to sewing but this was genuinely one of the easiest printed patterns to put together; The lack of trimming greatly reduced the amount of time I spent building it and the pages extending into the next piece made it really easy to stay accurate. Also the fact that I didn't have to build one giant page and could work based on the blocks I needed made it so much easier to work in a smaller space, as most home sewists do! You can tell these patterns are made with home sewists in mind and I truly appreciate that, thank you so much!
